Also you have to use mythra immediately after the last fight so unlike before where ch2 on you can choose to not use pyra it wouldn't be the case there
@@liiyouu Really wish Finch was better. Played through New game+ with the worst rare blades I could find and activating Finch's instant recharge ability was the hypest thing. Right up there with exploding chain attack orbs with Dahlia
Electra has already been done, giving her a Damage Heal aux core & boosting HP as much as you can solves most problems since her damage spike skill deals decent enough damage.
So anyways, I've done this challenge Granted, I used a less strict ruleset, mostly in allowing to equip other Blades as stat-sticks and just never using them for combat. This allowed me to give the Aegis girls +50 Agility Core Chips as well as using Corvin in my third slot to boost evasion, plus Hunter's Chemistries on those Blades. Agility stacking is the way to go because, with how many attacks the enemy will throw at you, you will get hit enough times to enter the 30% HP range, but will still dodge enough hits to recuperate health and stay within that HP range to get the damage reduction buff. I also have a mercy rule where if I die enough times to Mahkos, I'm allowed to beef up Tora and Vandham's setups, even though that would make them contribute more to the fight overall and lessening the spirit of the solo format, just for the sake of seeing the rest of the game. I don't recall if I needed that rule for Godfrey, however. (I've done solo runs with multiple Rares; my favorite so far is Percival, his unique skill set allows for really fun and creative strategies in some fights) Oddly, I think the fight I spent the most time on overall was the final boss of his Blade Quest, mostly because I was stubborn and fought him very underleveled because I couldn't be arsed to use the inn. Godfrey was actually a bit surprising for me in that he wasn't as atrocious as I thought he'd be; 80% damage at all times and 2 Aux Core slots is surprisingly generous compared to other Rares, and Shield Wall frees up an Accessory slot that would otherwise hold a Crit heal medal for more Agility stacking. He wasn't great, don't get me wrong - an A tier Shield Hammer is still a D+ tier overall - but he was competent.
This has been one of the better videos I've watched in a long time, I loved this video. Challenge videos usually have like a set way they go, but this, this was different. The way you concluded it was very refreshing and just made me really happy.
Haven’t seen the video yet but wanted to say that I LOVE XC2. It is my absolute all time favorite game and I was JUST wishing there was a challenge run for it, so THANK YOU. Edit: have now seen the video and I loved it. Makes me think maybe I should do a challenge run myself, I’m over here spinning my wheels trying to figure out what I could do. Also took a look around your channel and added all your Xeno content to my watch later. I’m stoked I found you on my recommended
This does make me wanna try a Shield Hammer only run run when I eventually replay it. Did something similar during New Game+ where I dredged up a full team of the worst rare blades I could find, but Godfrey being both Ice type and a Shield hammer meant he had to compete with not only Finch and Kassandra, but also Ursula and Dahlia. Made it really hard to find time to use the poor guy
What a fun and creative video. So much love for the game❤. I actually believed it was possible but your conclusion in the end is of course the only right one. Thanks for the great time. Made my out of holidays and back into bad weather and work blues way better
Yeah, makos is definitely the hardest fight in the game. It was the gatekeeper for my first playthrough as well as every challenge run ive done. The worst was bringer of chaos on a NG file (not NG+). The only way i got past it was through leveling up to 40 (there are a few enemies that make this achievable without spending your whole life on it).
A 20 level gap kinda forsake the point of a challenge. It's a hard bossfight (honestly easier then malos on the Cliff), but there are ways to win. Farming the ichnais in gormott gets you a Better accessory to defend, and separating the 2 keeping the aggro of malos Is a sure win strat. It's HARD, but doable
It's unironically funny finding out that Godfrey is the worst blade because I used him for pretty much my entire run of the game when I beat it for the first time recently. Granted, I was on easy mode, but still I was NOT aware he was this bad.
Dromarch at least functions as a healer for the main game. He offers something that certain others can't, a consistent heal until chapter 7 if you don't have DLC or get unlucky. Godfrey? Literally what does he bring to the table. Other than pain and suffering for the player?

Wait are you a women?!
Now do Electra
And finch
@@liiyouufinch may be a "decent " option because his skill van re-set the art enemy recharge so it's not that bad... still it's a sheild hammer

Theres a reason why when I learned how to mod this game, this guy (along with Hammers in general) were one of the first things I buffed.
He is also THE FIRST ELDEN LORD!
And thus also Hoarah Loux, WARRIOR

Seriously underrated channel, I would love see more of this kind of content!
xenoblade 2 is such a fun game mannnn
i remember putting 110 hours in 7 days
Godfrey, the First Xeno Lord?
Im fairly certain why Malos kept doing so much damage through Iron Wall. Sever's blade skills are giving him Guard Anull.

I have never seen a person more worthy of Godfrey’s pure raw insane true power
Godfrey is definitely gonna whip it out after watching this video

I feel kinda bad that the YT algorithm recommended me our channel because of an April Fools joke but hey, solid video haha
Godfrey is my animal spirit (should I've said blade spirit?)
It's unironically funny finding out that Godfrey is the worst blade because I used him for pretty much my entire run of the game when I beat it for the first time recently. Granted, I was on easy mode, but still I was NOT aware he was this bad.

WE NEED MORE GODFREY , WELL DONE THO!
XC2 content thank you 🤝
I’m guessing yes, but why would you _want_ to use him?
Do you want help
Please talk to someone im concerned for you
Godfrey isn't even the worst because Dromarch exists
