    Thanks for your video. Thats great nearly 60 miles on electric. I have been averaging about 50-55 miles on electric with our 2022 RAV 4 Prime SE. Toyota did an excellent job with the RAV 4 Prime. Let see if they make a plug in Highlander hybrid next.

    You should definitely try the Lynk&Co 01! I reach 65 km on the highway at 120km/h and around 78 km with city driving. With an empty battery, 3,8l/100km!

      Unfortunately, Lynk&Co are not sold in Austria, but as the Volvo XC40 is basically the same car I hope to get this one soon and I think the results shouldn't be different for the Lynk&Co.

    I usually only have a bout 2 to 3 gallons of gas when I drive on EV mode on the weekdays. I never put a full or half tank, all your doing is carrying dead weight.

    IMHO
    I think it would be nice if the Highlander will get a Plug-in Hybrid variant.
    Given that the Highlander is a class / segment above the RAV4, I think this would be a nice addition imho =)

    Nobody can even get this in Canada now, so dealers refuse to even order it since it would take longer than 5 years to get.

      And I thought 3-4 years was ludicrous especially since they wanted $2500.00 deposit up front. They lost me needless to say. They’ll probably have warp drive by then. 😆

      In Scandinavia we have a 7-8 month wait.
      Reality is that what happens in the US and Canada is mainly down to local dealers taking advantage of the fact that people are willing to pay over MSRP. They refuse to take orders to keep demand way higher than availability. This is basically a situation customers have created themselves by playing into the dealer games.

    Thank you for your video! It came to my attention that your energy consumption gauge ranges from 0 to 40 kWh in EV/ECO mode. How did you set that up? Is that the 2022 Prime Model? I’m asking because my gauge only ranges from 0 to 10 kWh and it’s driving me nuts because it just doesn’t work for a car with around 16 kWh/100km WLTP. The Toyota customer support answered me (not a quotation but the meaning is the same!): well yeah that’s an issue - bad for you we won’t fix that! Hope you can help me with that and thank you!

      Hi Peter, I honestly can't answer that, I jumped in the car, and in EV-mode it showed this. I haven't changed any setting and I'm also not aware of how to do it. This was the 22 Prime model, yes. Maybe there are differences of the gauges in different markets.

    That's very good. I typically get between 52 and 54 miles on a complete charge.

      Please, tell me how is ride quality and sound insulation. I need comfortable vehicle for long trips.

      @@eludereluded really comfortable on long journeys. Sounds insulation is good. A little wind noise at high motorway speeds from mirrors but it's not intrusive. If you want a motorway muncher you will not be disappointed Great all-round vehicle

      The Rav4 Prime gets a lot more sound insulation than the regular Rav4 Hybrid and Suzuki Across. That's one of the things you pay for in the Prime vs. Across.
      The 19" wheels are perfectly fine, they aren't exactly low profile. However, the stock Yokohama Avid GT summer tyres are not very good. They are noisy and does not really do much for range.
