Yes, 1983 model year with the VIN called out for the win: 1GC for US made Chevrolet truck, D for 5,001 to 6,000 # Gross Vehicle Weight rating with hydraulic brakes, C for 2WD conventional chassis, 1 for 1/2 ton rated, 4 for two door pickup, D for 4.1L (250 CID) straight six, 7 is a check digit, D for the 1983 model year, J for Janesville, WI assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Janesville, WI plant operated from 1919 to 2009 and has since been demolished.
Possible code 63 Light Bronze exterior paint.

Sweet, a square body with a manual. I would keep the manual transmission, not a lot of them left.

I believe that there is more here; where I live than anywhere else I have seen. I live in northern New Mexico and I feel like, every time I go to the junkyard there is a bunch of them.
