Fantastic reaction! I am VoicePlay obsessed. These four men are so unbelievably talented. Not only do they all have amazing voices & ranges but they do everything themselves. Layne (beatboxer) & Geoff (bass) are founding members of the group and do 99% of the song & video arrangements. Eli (pronounced L-E, in the yellow shirt) does most of the lighting in the videos and also some arranging. Their videos are like mini-movies and the songs amazing. I see some great suggestions already for future reactions: Warriors, Kiss, Queen in 5 minutes. I'd also add Can't Help Falling in Love.
LOVED your reaction. VoicePlay is one of my all-time favorite groups, period. So many reasons why - starting with their understanding that first, they have to produce great music; 2nd: good stagecraft/performances are essential, 3rd: never ever bore your listeners with too much repetition, instead, let your piece evolve, and 4th: the icing on the cake, HUMOR.
Most of their arrangements are so complex and beautifully intertwining that it takes multiple hearings just to understand why your ears are begging for more. I just can't get enough.

Your appreciation for Layne was a major factor in me subscribing! Layne is probably my favorite member because of how much he does. Don't get me wrong I love everyone else as well, but Layne makes me smile in every video! I would recommend, really just for personal perusal, their ACA Top Ten videos. They are so much fun!

This was such a great reaction! I absolutely love when people give Layne, the beatboxer, the props he deserves! He is the best out there, imo. So talented, a good singer, and he does lots of the arrangements for the group, as well as trading off the directing and other production work with the other guys. He also seems like a sweet guy in all the interviews he's done. I mean, I love the bass, Geoff, but Layne is also a fav.
This whole production was so well done, it takes you through the whole story, just like you said, like watching it on stage. Their theatrical videos are the best. They come from years of working at Disney in Orlando, so it's in their blood.
Cannot wait for more Voiceplay reactions from you! You would probably like their Moana Medley, Boybands in 5 Minutes, and my favorite is their series Trapped and Panic in 4 Minutes Part 1 and 2. Also, Geoff does his own Bass covers on his channel. His version of The Headless Horseman can't be missed!
VoicePlay does such an amazing job at theatrics. Rachel was pregnant while doing this medley. I could not breathe, let alone sing, when I was pregnant. She is amazing. She has collaborated with them before (Phantom of the Opera) and others as well (Voctave). She definitely has a Disney princess sound. She did not do the voice of the Little Mermaid in the movie but they live in Florida and she was Ariel at Disneyworld. I am a Pentaholic. I know you have checked out Citizen Queen's "Evolution of Girl Groups" but they have other videos that are great too. They were formed in part by Scott Hoying from PTX in addition to Acapop! Kids.

Wonderful reaction - loved how much you got into the performance! They really are so good. Layne, their amazing beatboxer, was also the arranger for this particular song (he and their bass, Geoff, do most of their arrangements). I have two recommendations for VoicePlay reactions - "Warriors" and "Kiss".

Speaking of beatboxing, some call it vocal percusiion, Geoff describes what Layne does as "spitting disgusting things out of his mouth." Someone has suggested that this is how Geoff gets his range of voices, he steals them :)
Thanks for noticing Layne (the beat boxer). Geoff hits those incredible low notes and gets a lot of attention but the other guys are just fantastic too. Layne especially doesn’t get the props he deserves. He also does a lot of their arrangements. Great reaction!
