According to Geoff all of this was Laynes idea and when Layne handed out what parts Geoff was surprised that he got Urzulas song. And wondered how he should or could pull it off and that’s the result.
@@ZhenYaoYin anytime :) she also had an interview with Layne a few months ago if you’re interested and he showed how they usually mix and edit some songs
When you pointed it out I was like, "wait, is Poor Unfortunate Souls that much longer than the other songs?" And yup, nearly twice as long as any other song in that medley. In fairness, though, it is the second best Disney villain song ever written (beaten out only by Be Prepared). As for the remix at the end, I'm not aware of any full version of that song existing. The did a similar remix thing with Eli's opening song in the Moana medley - you can hear it playing behind Geoff and Layne talking at the end of the video.
Agreed, off the top of my head, whenever I think of Disney villain songs, I think of Be Prepared and Poor Unfortunate Souls! The stage versions don't count, though I've a soft spot for Gaston's "Me" 😆 Interesting note about the remix though! I didn't realise it during the Moana medley (probably coz they were talking over it LOL)
This is the best reaction ever. You enjoy it so much, especially the humour. I think a lot of people fail to see all the little details that make it so clever. Thank you so much for this.. i really enjoyed it.
The song playing over the Patron list at the end of the video is a remix version of Geoff's "Poor Unfortunate Souls." Done presumably just because they could! LOL The remix is not the full song, though.
Is this the coolest rendition of Poor Unfortunate Souls on TH-cam or no? 😜
At 6:05 the slide is from a D5-D2 and a double track with a D1 subharmonic
I love Geoff's Ursula.
Us too! It was SO different from any of the other renditions we've heard! 😍

LOL! Was this on an interview or something? Can you share the link if you remember it? Would love to check it out! (thanks in advance 🤩)
@@ZhenYaoYin sure thing it was here on TH-cam with Elisabeth on the charismatic voice th-cam.com/video/ypToJeKoEbI/w-d-xo.html
@@Chrissnox Thank you! 🤩

7:47 "Sittin' there across the way." Rachel's little smile and wave here are really adorable!

@@ZhenYaoYin If you look it up on Spotify you can find the remix. Of both.
There is a full version of the remix available to their patreon, idk if there is a publicly available one
Hellfire belongs in there too! For sheer creepiness
I love that you have the National Park Theme song in the background! It was soft and light, but I could tell and geeked out hahaha!
You have no idea how happy it makes me feel when people appreciate my outro song choices! 😍

Thanks! Really glad that you enjoyed watching our reaction as much as we did watching their performance! 😁
Rachel Potter is so amazing and she's an important guest member of the group
The deep bass is so amazing

Thanks for the info! 😄
I like the way you guys react, it's very natural and very light hearted, it's awesome!
The answer to your question is 4 octaves with some layering over it.
That’s crazy! 🤯
You both were a pleasure to watch 💖
Aww, thanks!!! Great to have you here! 🙌
Holy cow that was fun. I'm sorry it took me so long to find you guys and subscribe. Wish you growth and success!
Wow, thanks for the support! 😍
Go to Geoff's TH-cam channel and you'll find him reading the original Little Mermaid story. He's got a few short stories he's narrated.
Great reaction!
Thanks, we appreciate it! 😍
Glad to see Rachel making it.
Excellent reaction!
I see that you asked how many octaves geoffs voice was
Its 4 or 5 octaves!
That’s always insane no matter how many times I think about it 🤯
it’s a four octave glissando i think, D5-D1?
It’s 3 octaves D5-D2 the D1 is layered in
Actually a decrescendo cuz he's going from high to low
Nah, a decrescendo has to do with volume, not pitch. It's a descending glissando, though, if that's what you mean?
Your reactions were wonderful, never grow up.
Zherrie reminds me of Zerrie (zayn+perrie).
Peter Hollens' Disney Villens Medley, please? It's pretty cool and not too long.
I love your videos! ... Guy
Yay, thanks Guy! 😄
Hiii, if you like bass singing i recomend you to see the Lonesome Road by Tim Storms. 👍🐣
Nice
Thanks! You're nice too! 👍
