If your kid tried to apply for pixar, or cartoon network, he'd get rejected because he was "schooled by jazza".
Can you do a speed art but with no screen recording, but rather the camera facing behind you, so we can see you draw on the cintiq? I know its a strange request but it'd be great if i could see the drawing aspect, but still in the programs you use
Those leg-stubs are absolutely the stuff of nightmares! Other than that I have to give you cheers for creating a fairly comprehensive bunch of animation tutorials. Well done!

I didn'y understood why at first you said that if the head was a graphic symbol it would mess the animation and then I rememberd it could mess the timing and the frames number once you copied the frames of the movment of head. Lol correct me if i'm wrong. And sorry for my english :)

The movie clip in the main timeline, since it's only 1 frame, will it play out throughout it's specific frames or loop until you create a blank frame in the main timeline, it confuses me a bit.
So, I have my Scene, with the draft fbf animation, I also Have my graphic with the lip synced character, I copy my graphic, on to the main timeline in my scene.... I pull The key frame for when the graphic starts, to where the audio starts on the timeline... but now all my keyframes within the graphic seem to be out of whack :S should I try converting it to a movie clip before I copy it to try and retain the lip sync? :(

You should've said that it needs a separate layer for the body. I did the whole thing in 2-3 hours and at the end I couldn't make it a symbol, because it was already animated:((

What is the advantage of having a completely animated character on one frame? In what context would you need to use that?
I know it's a bit weird but if you play the preview the animation would play anyway
On the subject of adding audio clips to animations on flash, I can never get my mp3 audio files to import and I always get a message saying 'could not not read.' Is there some program I need to download to convert an aspect of the mp3s in some way?
Audacity is a good software for I it and you record in it and edit the recording from there to its free to download

Hey guys. So when I went to do a motion tween, for what ever reason when it gos to the next frame its puts the arm away from the body towards the bottom of the screen instead of following the motion I put the arm in on the back to back frames. Can anyone help ?

The tablet he is using is a cintiq I think, the cintiq has a screen that you can draw on but it's so expensive but there is the intous, it has a clear surface (no screen) but is much cheaper.

tweening isn't the dark side, it's a tool. it can be overused, and can look bad if done wrong, but learning to use them effectively can be a huge boost to animation workflow, control, and aesthetic.
