I have my father's small rose tudor with a sub second dial but that is in a dennison case . the watch was a gift to him from his father and as far as I can tell is how it was originally purchased. of course I cannot verify this as my father passed away quite some years ago ,but that's what he told me when he had smashed the crystal at work
Yes it is probably original. The Rolex oyster case was used in waterproof watches like this one or the submariner. For the dress watch Dennison is probably right. They did some cases for Rolex too
My Heuer Autavia will be in the mail for you Monday. Can't wait to see you doing your magic on it!
Awesome! Thank you!
I just love the dial of this watch and the excellent work you put into it to make it look beautiful again: 👍👌👏!
Yes I love this dial too. Thank you
Lovley watche. Good job in restoring this vintage peace of art.

I love the work you do
Not every watch needs to be new
Vintsge watches have a unique look
I agree with you
Great video and awesome work as usual.
By the way, beautiful Tudor, I love Tudor.
See you next week!
Thanks! You too!
Great restoration, 👏
Thank you
Thanks for this video. Personally, I prefer the Tudor rose over the shield.
It is the same for me and I think a lot of people prefer the rose
Lovely restoration. Pat yourself on the back. I have a tudor rose in pieces, it was rusted right through.
They are great projects
Yes Perfect. Great results. Keep well from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Thank you! You too!
I look forward to your videos as well!
Thank you so much Tim.
You really went the whole mile- even got a Horotec bench!
It is not an horotec bench but I love my bench😋
@@FrenchWatchCollector It reminds me of one.
Great job! This is the vide I meant to ask about ETA movements. How did you identify which one it was? Did Tudor mark them ETA?
No it is not mark as ETA. It is an ETA 1156
