"Why isn't it called Liverpool then?"
"Well.. uh"
HAHAHHA
It's true. It's like saying Tomayto and Tomahto, Scones,Scohnes etc
Ah yes the Parkour fad of the mid 2000's when every TV show was including parkour even The Bill. Good times.
Produced some of the best action sequences in recent memory though!
@@staidenofanarchy And two of the greatest video games of all time: Mirror's Edge and Assassin's Creed II.
Nice to see I’m not the only one who came back to reminisce
Go and look up the channel "STORROR" ... it isnt a fad.
Don't forget movies like Casino Royale, too.
Once again, you guys nail it!
We try to have as much fun with our car reviews...
AutoTrader? In a TopGear video?
Parkour will always prevail and have spare time to rub it in your face by doing handstands
Freerunner105 Good luck when you are no longer in the city child.
Well the whole point of Parkour is that you can go fast in a city environment. That's like saying "Good luck beating me when you're out of the water, sailfish!"
"A couple of young men, in silly trousers." x'] funny as hell
Just finished reading an article from last year that featured on Auto Trader. It was carried out by an independent market analyst and concluded that the Peugeot 207 was the most reliable USED car on the market, with just 6% breaking down in the 1st year, and still the most reliable over 5yrs. If you get the diesel 1.4, it's £30 per year to tax, insurance group C and gives you 64-73mpg depending on the kind of driving. It's the perfect first car for many, many reasons...and yeah, I drive one. :)

James: Come on! We're not ALL shopping!
240p here we meet again!
that was intense, one of the best challenges on top gear, was great they brought in parkour.
Fantastic, and hilarious, at the same time. Great presentation, from the BBC (and reliably so), especially of some of the stunts in parkour.
LOL very nice way to finish that challenge.. great video, smooth movements.
7:12
James: Oh, for Pete sake!
i said iPod like its spelt lol
Fancypants lol
From 2:10 to 2:38 - Fuck yeah, Killing Joke!
I said the same think dude🤟
One of my favorite episodes of topgear
I like that handstand at the end! :)
I was so conflicted... I'm an aspiring traceur, but I LOVE top gear... I had to side with parkour on this one! Great video, all of it was brilliant, I wish I was as good as them!
Parkour is actually trying to get from point A to B as fast as possible
lol at the end. "oh1 for pete's sake!" LOL
my men be standing on a viewpoint ready to synchronize
Being from Liverpool, these routes make no sense xD He started in the city center, not on the edges and it wouldn't be a 6-mile drive but rather a 6 minute one, im pretty sure at some points he was driving directly away from the liver buildings (apparently he didnt know which way he was going), also the freerunners were just going back and forth around the town and not even getting closee to the buildings. but top gear is bants and not to be taken seriously soo idc
+StarkGaming™ Then why go on a rant?
randomly came across the vid while looking at 207 faults. They did the same thing in Sheffield with the Reliant Robin. Alot of random roads leading nowhere near to Rotherham. In fact, I'm sure the film started closer to Rotherham, than the majority of the footage!
Pretty much everything on Top Gear is highly edited, but filmed in a way that makes it seem as though it's spontaneous and continuous. In the Parkour vs. Motorcyle race, they make it seem as though the racers have never been in the building and have to make up their path as they go (running in to locked doors and having to backtrack), but you can see tire tracks on the floor from the practise runs the motorcycle did.
Pretty much every sequence on the show like this is filmed shot-by-shot, multiple times and then edited to look as though it was filmed in one take. Ever wonder how they always seem to arrive at the finish line within a couple minutes of each other for their huge, 500-1000 mile races? Most of the driving shots are filmed after the events themselves under safer, more controlled conditions.
So yeah, the events in Top Gear are mostly fictitious, but that doesn't mean they aren't highly entertaining.
I think walking a normal route would be faster than both of them
Maybe they didn't have filming permission for certain areas? Filming for Top Gear would require roads to be closed.
4:27 5:06 hes at the same place o.o
exelente video , exelente auto, exelente el estado fisico de los flacos
love the way james sed the liver building is 6 miles away an its litrally up the road haha..
0:23 wtf is wrong with his finger? drugs?

Young Ilabaca as a teenager. He still looks the same
Wow, you have fun snow days. What an exciting life *rolls eyes*.

He didn't seem impressed 3:49
Doing a hand stand on the outer wall! Badass!
WOW! the one in white was awesome with his flips and stuff :p amazing!
it was the first video that made me know about parkour and love it
These guys are experts and how can a car possibly defeat 2 well trained and physically fit parkour experts..
"The Liva building? Why isn't it called Livapool then?"....James is a legend XD
I would like to do parkour as well as they do.
Like James said, they are masters.
They totally rock!
Anyone can drive a car, but not everyone can do a freakin handstand on top of a building!
Whoever came up with this is amazing and has some balls to jump over buildings and shit.
Taxi 4 vs District B13, the two greatest Luc Besson movies.
The ending is beast...
old man at 3:50 "kids these days and their fancy running."
the fall-n-roll jump in the mall seems HIGH :D
its hilarious that theyre just standing up on top of the building
This was hilariously fun.
that sufjan stevens at the start lol
that was so badass when they were standing on top of that building! Staged, but badass!
Captain Slow, we love you :D
i love the ending
Wooo! It's amazing! How do the cameramen manage to be always ahead of the car and the guys!?!?
MAGIC ...
LOL at the end, the free runners look like super heroes XD
just sittin on the liver building
Came for the Traceur, stayed for the ippod connector
@3:50 the old man was like, "hah, that's nothing!"
@Rarez2 yeah they can do some pretty wicked stuff. i do parkour and i can tell you that it defenitly aint fun if u screw up the roll part, cause thats where, it feels for me, takes off most of the G-force from the jump
Does anyone have the music playlist for this video?
Lol I like the end.
"I leave the house every day." The first thing you went into detail about.
LOOL... Right mate..
So you're telling me that the cameraman managed to climb up the Liver building in the space of the race?
LOOOOOOOL
Sufjan Stevens opening music! YES!
awesome camera man, he's as fast as those free runners :3
What season were the one with all Mays Challenges?
Ahh Daniel Ilabaca looks well young in this clip! Weird to think I didn't know who he was when I saw this episode when it first aired.
show must go on
2:09 Best description of parkour ever.
they have the budget. They're on of the most viewed programs on the BBC
"It's got an Ih-Pod connector"
They jump on hard cement from third floor like jumping in a pool!
That's crazy but impressive!
Car got beat! I love how he felt like he won and they were already on top of the building. if i was one of the runners id yell down to him "Lets see ur car do THIS!"
i started parkour a year ago. at first i really wanted to do it but felt like id never be able to. now after a year me and my friends are really good and all we did was look up tutorials and teach our selves. and we are actually good now.
Casual handstand on top of a building
Them 2 are actually professionals..They was actually quite a few big drops in that vid, none of which stunned the feet either. Good race btw ^.^
John Kerr. If you go to IMDB and look up the episode (8.7) he's listed in the cast.
That parkour guy in the white shirt is a beast...wow!
What's the music that starts around 2:50?
It's awesome!
2:10 that's a dive.... but where's the pool??? :P nice vid ;)
Lol, nice ending!
You do know, one of them is Daniel Illabaca? Good luck with that! haha!
lol, when he made it there, they had managed to climb to almost the top of the building xD
great video..
the traceurs or free runner i thing are: daniel ilabaca and kirby (the lastone take part in jump to britain or jump to london i don remember very well)
The music in this clip in the originally aired version is much better.
i watched this with my dad i was like yay best ep
those guys win with style! ^^
top gear guys are always original...
Any idea what the music is around the 2:10 mark? Artist, song, album?
ive just started learning parkour, i love it, i wanna because as good a free runner as these guys
Parkour is the anti gravity sport???
hehe, listen how he says "iPod connector" lol. nice vid
Parkour is about getting from here to there as fast as you can, while freerunning is more about doing crazy stunts as you go along.
That thing that was in the sky next to the building was a bird flying by.
@Ivobe2 they make the drop seem higher than it is and the guys roll to absorb the shock of the fall which is why they jump from great heights without hurting themselves
I think the one with the hat was a practitioner of Parkour. The other one was probably the free-runner.
4:23 some kid shouts "grandma!"
I don't watch that now but I used to watch that when I was a kid. lol
It's funny how one has to type properly to insult the guy doing the misspelling.
What on earth is the music from about 5:36 onwards??? Someone help please!!!!!
IT'S DANIEL ILABACA!!!!! What a legend :D
Have you considered that what you pay for a new Peugeot is barely more than the cost of materials it's made of - at least at the basic trim level? So to maintain profitability, the margin is folded completely into extras and service; the high replacement part prices (and yet low compared to most other companies) allow them to maintain the service network in the first place.
oh thats great, they flew on top of that tower....
woaahh wtf they jumped from the second story of a mall xD i cant even imagine haha
DAMN THEY ARE GOOD!!
some amazing free runing
