It's hard to keep up with the TH-cam crushes these days. First I fell in love with Dan Vasc, only recently discovered him, and now I'm in love with Violet Orlandi. This is such a gorgeous cover, their voices are just perfect together

My intro to Dan was his performance of Amazing Grace, which made me an instant fan. I promise you, Dan will surprise you, every-single-time you react to him. To see a very emotional side of Dan, react to "An American Trilogy" which he dedicated to his father less than a week after his passing. Dan's father was a huge Elvis fan. Dan also dedicated Elvis' song "Love Me Tender" to an elderly lady whose husband was terminally ill, Dan's intro to this song is very touching. That was great. What I really liked was that usually when you hear a metal cover of a song it's just basically the same but with distortion guitars etc but this was really nuanced. Also liked the way it's clearly not all about him because she sung just as much as he did and what a great voice she had too.

I'm usually here for Home Free but I'm a big fan of both Violet and Dan. She loves to collaborate and does so very well. Anything with Halocene and Lauren Babic is amazing. My favorites are Don't Stop Believing and Enter Sandman. She also has two great collabs with Leo Moracchioli from Frog Leap Studios--Listen to Your Heart on the Frog Leap channel, and In Cold Blood on Violet's channel. Leo is a rabbit hole all his own. I could suggest dozens of covers from Leo. He's a unique talent. I'm here for any and all of it. Also, Violet has been releasing alot of solo recordings in the last several weeks, and it all outstanding. My opinion on what to react to next-? Violet and Leo on Listen to Your Heart. It's an '80s pop song covered in a "metal(ish)" style. The video is fun, the vocals are nuts, and Leo plays all the instruments. I really think you'd enjoy it.

Another duet of Dan's is Dawn of Victory ft. Fabio Lione, one of his idols and singer of Rhapsody of Fire and then Angra, two of the top power metal bands ever. Fabio leads to Rhapsody and Magic of a Wizard's Dream ft. Christophe Lee (yes, THAT Christopher Lee, Saruman has a perfect basso cantante voice). Dan was supposed to sing in a Christopher Lee album, but he passed away.

Violet Orlandi is a Brazilian who lived in London for 5 years to study songwriting. She has classical vocal training. She became known through her covers on TH-cam. She says of herself that she could sing first and then speak. There are only a few songs she composed that were significantly less successful. In 2022 she had a joint concert with Haloscene. She has worked on numerous projects, but none of them became famous. A new single is coming out soon:
