I'm so glad that you watched these 2 episodes together!!!!! Calvary battle is epic!!! Monama is such an ass, he is like Tsuki with super powers lol. I so wish I could give you answers but spoilers suck. Todoroki is so smart. And Purple dude is so such a great mystery. Glad I became a member so I didn't have to wait!

I'll definitely share my thoughts a bit more going forward at the ends, and I am super excited for each episode that comes up of this show now!
I forget how good this arc is every time. Can’t wait to see your reactions as Todoroki’s story develops in the next several episodes.
Jiro (the girl with the earphone jack ears) would be really pissed off if you tried to rip those out. They're her earlobes. XD

Heck yeah I love this battle, these episodes are why Tokoyami is my second fave after Momo, he absolutely came in clutch for Team Midoriya. Dark Shadow is such a unique quirk and really versatile, and I love the cute expressions on its face. (Also, Tokoyami is just a lot of fun to play in the video game, for me at least). Iida has some really great moments here too, I appreciate his reasoning for not teaming up with Deku, because his rivalry with him isn't confrontational like Bakugo, or cold and mysterious like Todoroki. Iida's friendship with Deku and his respect for him are why he wants to compete against him, and I like that it's Iida's actions that were the main catalyst for his team winning the 10 million points, not the "obvious" rivals. I feel like this battle is basically saying that even though Deku, Todoroki, and Bakugo are the ones everyone has their eyes on, everyone else on the field is fighting until the last second too.
My heros pacing is quite good, most things are wrapped up within a few episodes not having to wait for 20+ eps for something to finish is nice

can i just say im super glad youre disturbed by the fan service moment- mineta’s whole thing, midnight’s whole thing, and even momo constantly being in some sort of undress (ik its for her quirk but its still disturbing to see a teen girl like that lol) but anyways i really appreciate seeing a guy not being into it!! bare minimum ik but it means a lot still after seeing so many guys not being disturbed 🫶
