Awesome haul, Jess! I've mentioned it before, but not sure if you didn't see it or just weren't interested in the idea (which is totally fine!). I'd love to see a kind of flash-back/stood the test of time type of video! I think I called it like a time machine before or something like that, but the gist is: are there products from 10+ years ago that are 1) still around and 2) still good and therefore "stood the test of time." Things are the true classics for a reason. Like if you went to one (or more) of your 2014 videos and the things you used are still around and still worth it!
Two tips: try the Haus powder blush in French rosette. And the next time you open a glossier tube product, don’t peel off the protective cover. Instead, leave it on and poke a hole through it with a pin. You can control the amount that comes out a whole lot better.

I would love to see how the Supergoop tint works at Disney, reapplying it throughout the day! That's definitely how I'd be most interested in using it. I hate reapplying sunscreen because it takes off my makeup, but if my sunscreen had a little coverage to mask my redness, I'd be so happy and way more likely to reapply. 🌻

I loved the way the Danessa skin tint looked on your skin! So tempted to buy it too now, but I would love to know more about how it wears over the course of a day 👀❤️
My experience is in areas you may need it. A very light powder like the Kosas it wears very well lasted me a long day in and outdoors. I too before a powder bronzer or powder blush would lightly powder just so it applies smoothly.
Just keep in mind it is a very dewy/tacky feeling product. It never truly sets but I guess if you are a person who sets their face with powder it wouldn’t matter too much.
It didn't work for me. it doesn't dry down (which I don't care for) plus my skin looked less smooth than before I put it on. I wore it all day and it seemed to wear pretty well but honestly I couldn't wait to take it off! Everyone's skin is different so hopefully it will work for you if you try it!
The Rio de Janeiro body crem smells so good the organy salmon colored one smells like tropical berries and cream and that glossier bronzer looked really nice
I wanted to try the haus labs blush but all the shades seemed so beight and i have the exact same akin tone as you and i like more muted blushes and although they seem stunningly beautiful, i think its just too much for fair skin, as they are so pigmented.. loved the video!! ❤
It also clung so much to your skin as you didn't have powder in between. Like after I do my cream blush I have to set with a skin tone powder then go in with powder blush and bronzer so the product doesn't skip.. either way, like I said, I think it is just too much for fair skin. ❤❤❤

I love Danessas tint. It is amazing on my dry skin. I love rms blushes so much better than the rare beauty which is like a topper or highlighter just so shimmery for me.
I use the Supergoop matte mineral tinted sunscreen as my foundation. I prefer a less is more look. That, a little blush and setting powder is perfect. I top it off with the OG urban decay setting spray, and I'm good to go.

I’m sure you’ve already used the Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia body scrub but if not I think you are going to love it! I will get little breakouts on my back and chest and I have dry skin. This scrub has been a game changer for me! I don’t have any problems with breakouts my skin feels so smooth after using it and it has really helped even my body skin. 10 out 10 product in my opinion and it smells so good! I purchased the Milk Makeup cloud primer. It gave my skin a little glow and that was it so I passed it to my 16 year old niece. I love the Yummy Skin skin tint! I purchased a summer shade for myself during the sale and another mini Givenchy prism libre powder it’s amazing at blurring the skin! Now I want to buy the Farmacy lip balm you used. The Supergoop skin tint shouldn’t be your only sun protection. It’s not a tinted sunscreen. It’s a skin tint w/ SPF. You would have to use half if not all of the bottle to get adequate sun protection
Pomelo Peach is a great color for our skintone (we are shade twins). Try it with a fluffy brush before you decide to return. The color is so pretty! Hibiscus Haze is another shade I'd like to try. ❤❤❤
I agree with this - Pomelo Peach is so gorgeous. You do need to use a light hand but you can definitely apply it very sheerly. I think the formula is gorgeous and blurring - currently my favorite powder blush formula.
The toned down blush and lip combo look great! I really like the look of the Supergoop too. Also, where'd you get the fake plant? It looks pretty realistic.
Still on the hunt for a dupe for the No7 airbrush perfecting skin tint. I love your pink top. I also love that soemtimes you get a little heavy handed but are able to pull it back.

Jess! In Portuguese you pronounce the J sound in contrast to Spanish! So Janeiro actually has the “juh” sound! & then “bom dia” sounds more like “bohm jeeyah” 🥰🩷
Is it true that their star product is pronounced “boom boom”? I’ve also noticed that the “Janeiro” is pronounced almost like there’s a “d” in the end of the word like “juhnaydo” … just wondering 💚 Thank you for your comment & the lesson.

I wish I could pronounce it here bc it’s almost like there’s an h in there as well like “boohmn” & you don’t hard pronounce the m at the end so it’s almost like a soft n, but for simplicity sake, boom boom is the most correct lol! & for Janeiro which is January in Portuguese, I’ll try to spell it phonetically the best way I can! “Ja” is almost gonna sound like you’re combining a “juh” & “shuh” sound together. I don’t think there’s an English word that makes that sound BUT the mouth & teeth placement is like if you were to say “shhhh” but instead of never opening your teeth like you do in “shhh” you WILL open/separate your teeth & you’ll feel the vibration in your front teeth when you make the “ja” sound (it’ll vibrate like when you say zebra, but your mouth won’t be in the smiling position like when you say the word zebra, rather it’ll be positioned like how you pronounce the word “shush”). Okay that was all so complicated but I’m literally sitting here in my bathroom saying the 2 sounds out loud to feel how they feel different in my mouth hahahaah! The biggest difference I feel like the mouth position is all the same to shush, but instead of just breathing the air out through your mouth like how you do when you say shush, you’re gonna vibrate that air through your teeth saying that shush sound in the same way you vibrate air through your teeth while saying zebra 😭😂 that’s the hardest part of the word 😂😂😂 once you’ve got that down, then the rest of Janeiro is Juh-nay-rroh (double r sound at the end)

I always said that if i had another life, i would study languages. I had the same problem with the Haus Labs blush, it looked so much lighter in pictures online and when I got it I was kind of surprised to see how bright it was. I wanted to order another shade but just feel like it's going to be the same outcome. I have the same problem with the Patrick Ta blushes, online they look a lot lighter, but in person they are all so bright and pigmented on me.

Yeah, the Haus labs blushes are pretty punchy. I had one of the original ones in the chrome-y packaging. Dragonfruit Daze maybe? I really like that color, it’s like a bright darker pink. And then I got the new formulation that you have, I’m a sucker for the packaging, in the reddest color.
Spot on with the smell of the bom dia bright! I had to return it because I had coworkers and my husband say I smelled like a cigar 😂 um not what I’m going for! Haha! But your picks in this are wonderful! Those skin tints look amazing!! Gonna need all this stuff 😬 ❤

Jess, when checking colours of tints and foundation, go by the skin on your jawline, NOT the top of your hand. IF you want a more accurate colour match that is. Love your videos so much!!! ❤

This didn’t work for me. I have very dry skin and it doesn’t dry down. If I try to powder it, it’s very dry and clings to my dry patches.
I don't love the DM skin serum, feel like it clings to every dry patch and looks yucky by midday.

Pomelo Peach is a great color for our skintone (we are shade twins). Try it with a fluffy brush before you decide to return. The color is so pretty! Hibiscus Haze is another shade I'd like to try. ❤❤❤
I agree with this - Pomelo Peach is so gorgeous. You do need to use a light hand but you can definitely apply it very sheerly. I think the formula is gorgeous and blurring - currently my favorite powder blush formula.

The toned down blush and lip combo look great! I really like the look of the Supergoop too. Also, where'd you get the fake plant? It looks pretty realistic.

I tried the Super Goop tint in the same color but it was super matte on me. I loved the way it looked on my cheeks but everywhere else was very matte

Jess! In Portuguese you pronounce the J sound in contrast to Spanish! So Janeiro actually has the “juh” sound! & then “bom dia” sounds more like “bohm jeeyah” 🥰🩷
Is it true that their star product is pronounced “boom boom”? I’ve also noticed that the “Janeiro” is pronounced almost like there’s a “d” in the end of the word like “juhnaydo” … just wondering 💚 Thank you for your comment & the lesson.

I wish I could pronounce it here bc it’s almost like there’s an h in there as well like “boohmn” & you don’t hard pronounce the m at the end so it’s almost like a soft n, but for simplicity sake, boom boom is the most correct lol! & for Janeiro which is January in Portuguese, I’ll try to spell it phonetically the best way I can! “Ja” is almost gonna sound like you’re combining a “juh” & “shuh” sound together. I don’t think there’s an English word that makes that sound BUT the mouth & teeth placement is like if you were to say “shhhh” but instead of never opening your teeth like you do in “shhh” you WILL open/separate your teeth & you’ll feel the vibration in your front teeth when you make the “ja” sound (it’ll vibrate like when you say zebra, but your mouth won’t be in the smiling position like when you say the word zebra, rather it’ll be positioned like how you pronounce the word “shush”). Okay that was all so complicated but I’m literally sitting here in my bathroom saying the 2 sounds out loud to feel how they feel different in my mouth hahahaah! The biggest difference I feel like the mouth position is all the same to shush, but instead of just breathing the air out through your mouth like how you do when you say shush, you’re gonna vibrate that air through your teeth saying that shush sound in the same way you vibrate air through your teeth while saying zebra 😭😂 that’s the hardest part of the word 😂😂😂 once you’ve got that down, then the rest of Janeiro is Juh-nay-rroh (double r sound at the end)

I was also listening to the pronunciation online trying to match it with yours for additional help. I know i could’ve done that from the beginning but i always prefer to speak to someone who has the knowledge and the culture, history and experience to teach. It’s such a beautiful language. I went to Catholic school & they still taught latin (even in the 90s and 00s). So i recognize some of the words when I see Portuguese (Or the base of the word).
I love language. I love accents. I always said that if i had another life, i would study languages.

I had the same problem with the Haus Labs blush, it looked so much lighter in pictures online and when I got it I was kind of surprised to see how bright it was. I wanted to order another shade but just feel like it's going to be the same outcome. I have the same problem with the Patrick Ta blushes, online they look a lot lighter, but in person they are all so bright and pigmented on me.

Yeah, the Haus labs blushes are pretty punchy. I had one of the original ones in the chrome-y packaging. Dragonfruit Daze maybe? I really like that color, it’s like a bright darker pink. And then I got the new formulation that you have, I’m a sucker for the packaging, in the reddest color.
Spot on with the smell of the bom dia bright! I had to return it because I had coworkers and my husband say I smelled like a cigar 😂 um not what I’m going for! Haha! But your picks in this are wonderful! Those skin tints look amazing!! Gonna need all this stuff 😬 ❤

Jess, when checking colours of tints and foundation, go by the skin on your jawline, NOT the top of your hand. IF you want a more accurate colour match that is. Love your videos so much!!! ❤

These videos are great but I really need a video with like your top mascaras or blushes. Like best mascara for vacation, for every day, for glam nights out, waterproof, etc. or best cream blushes or everyday blushes. I know you do this kinda at Christmas/new year. But we need a 6m update.
