I'm 60 and makeup is my therapy, and part of my self care ritual. For many reasons, I never thought I was beautiful, I'm getting better. When I turned 60 in July, I decided this year would be the beginning of my personal revolution!
WHY are We, as Women, SO AFRAID to call Ourselves BEAUTIFUL??? Because we were taught that it’s “Conceited” or “Vain” since Childhood? Or because we were taught that we have to wait for a MAN to tell us we’re Beautiful? And probably Countless other reasons we were taught that to look in the Mirror and see ourselves as Beautiful is somehow A FAULT instead of OUR BIRTHRIGHT as Women! I absolutely agree with Linda Hoffman in that our generation were taught as children not to be vain or conceited so we carry that baggage all through our lives, not accepting or even believing compliments, thinking we're not worthy. Thank you for giving us the confidence to say, yes we feel beautiful when we make an effort to make the best of ourselves. We are worth it.
My 78 yr old mom paints her house by herself and takes cases of water up 2 flights of stairs by herself to her condo. Im 58 and cant even lift that weight. Shes not an "old lady" by any means

First, Linda IS beautiful. I mean, look at her bone structure. Those cheekbones, and her natural facial proportions. . . And large, deep-set eyes, great jaw line. She has it! And can we have a moment for those color correctors! The transformation was significant. She looks amazing! And positive self-talk is the way to go.

One can easily identify with your models. They’re everyday people. I find on TH-cam, even the ones in my age range are trying to look flawless, look like something that’s not achievable, or shooting at angles that yes are flattering, but who goes around looking like that to work, the grocery store, Target. After priming the face is ready for your Expertise in following the form with your application of products creating structure and the illusion of three dimensions and using darks as accents to give the illusion of depth. Thank you Nikole. I realized a few years back that I sometimes say things to myself that I would never say to another person…so why would I do it to myself? Everyone is beautiful, everything in nature is beautiful. The only ugly I see is from the actions, hearts and minds from a few monsters and that’s mostly cause I watch a lot of true crime.
Whst a GREAT point about us often saying critical and damaging things to Ourselves that we’d NEVER DREAM of saying to someone else because they would HURT! We’re so often NOT our own Champion ! ❤️

Love this video with the great advice! I always thought I needed makeup on to really look better. And, while it’s good to enhance our features to look our best, it’s not the “end-all.” Yesterday, my husband gave me the highest compliment when he said he thinks I’m pretty without makeup. I’m so blessed to be loved❤️…and glad that maybe his eyesight isn’t as good as it used to be😂.

I’ve heard people say they don’t work but I’m not sure they are being used correctly. Maybe do a short tutorial on it. You probably have one already but maybe an updated one. Linda looks even more beautiful with makeup. I also love her positive attitude. New to Nikol products, I have the Naughty Nancy eye shadow. I llove the texture and how soft it is to apply and the colors show up beautifully. Even the brushes that come with it are so soft. It even takes some of my eye wrinkles away. (I use her eye primer before also, not cakey just right). Now I don't know what to do with my other brands I have accumulated! (by the way I'm 74).

I’m 78 and have learned so much from these tutorials it is so hard to remember to curl my lashes before I apply my eyeliner I’ve been applying eyeliner first for 65 years it’s a routine that I have to break and applying the eye makeup before the foundation makes so much sense I love the eye primer but my eyeshadow is dry and flaky at the end of the day tried applying less and it still does it so now I’m going to purchase her eyeshadow I think that will solve the problem so far everything I’ve purchased has did what she says it will

My statement “I’m not saying that I’m beautiful” did not mean that I don’t see myself as attractive. Hello, Nikol. I was watching a video on Dr. Dray's channel today and there was an ad from a company called Youth RX which used your image throughout ad. The ad makes it seem as if you are speaking and you are promoting eyelid inserts that help with drooping, hooded eye. The ad also uses video images of you inserting similar inserts. I'm just letting you know.
