U need to try the new Essence foundation from Covergirl. I LOVE it!! I can’t believe I’ve found it. I usually like everything u like so I think u will enjoy it. It’s not a ton of coverage but I’m 50 and every time I’ve worn it I’ve gotten compliments on my skin!!
I tried it yesterday. I wanted the results I've seen others have but it was a hard pass for me (I'm 53). I'm wondering 1) do I need the next shade darker & 2) a different primer/moisturizer. All that said, I have a handful of HG foundations so I don't NEED another...glad you are loving it!

Many years ago I'd stopped wearing liquid foundation bc it always looked & felt awful. I then was wearing a powder foundation from Mary Kay. So I'd guess in my 40s I decided to try liquids again. But I was so far out of the loop I just went to Sephora to get help. They'd suggested a Dewey foundation bc of my age. I never really liked that 1. So 1 day I saw a "matte" 1 I decided to try. I fell in ❤️. Eventually I added some satin finishes. But then years later what you were saying happened. I noticed I no longer was liking my foundations? It was at this point I figured I might now be ready to try a more luminous finish. So I'm now 59 and go for a more natural, Dewey look.
I am SO EXCITED for the new tubing mascara launches! I have the most oily skin on the planet and have tried literally over a hundred different mascaras (it’s kinda my thing, lol) and the only ones that don’t end up all over my face are tubing ones.
I got the L’Oréal panorama mascara and I love it. Almost more than the telescopic lift one and I super love that one! Love you and your videos Jess! Xoxox ❤
I heard Revlon is coming out of bankruptcy, and it looks like they are putting a lot of money now behind the products so that might be the difference you’re seeing in what is being offered. Thank you for the video!
Jessica, I absolutely love your personality and I love your channel so much. I just have one request. Can you please put the prices of the makeup that you review at the bottom of the video? That’s what Tati does and it makes it so much easier. I have to constantly stop the video on every product and go look it up. I wouldn’t normally ask anyone to do that but in this economy and having to pinch every penny we can it would be nice to see the prices. Sometimes I just give up in the middle of the video because I don’t have time to google it all or look at the apps for the prices. Thank you for reading this and even if you decide not to list the prices I will still watch your videos. It just really helps some of us viewers out.

I don’t know if you’ve already tried it (it’s been a hot minute since I’ve watched you, I’m sorry!), but Makeup Revolution’s cream bronzer is also game changer and literally has me in a chokehold. You get just a bit more product for like half the price of milani. So much better than the elf putty bronzers (I loved the elf putty bronzers but now i hardly ever pick them up now that I have the revolution bronzer). I’m obsessed. Also, love milani’s cream blush but really really wish they’d extend the shade range

@senaaileigh it's very pigmented so I'd use a light hand and the elf ultimate blending brush or my favorite is the bk beauty 109. Don't wait any longer to try it because it's great!
Put more blush on!! I also have the darkest shade (I have your shade also) and like to mix them!! ❤️❤️ Revlon foundation - awesome! Loreal mascara - awesome! I returned the Milani bronzer. It was a grease bomb. IMO only.
There was an essence dark brown eyeliner you tried once and seemed excited about. Maybe it didn’t wear well? I haven’t heard you mention it again. 🤷🏼♀️
I believe it was the Essence Stay & Play gel eyeliner in the shade But First Espresso. I have that one, as well as the black shade and a really pretty deep-blue shade called Midnight Sky. I only use these pencils on the upper waterline, and they never transfer down. They are as easy to apply as the Urban Decay 24/7 liners (which I generally also really like), and they sharpen really well (I use the Nars sharpener that Jessica has recommended previously, which is fantastic). The Essence pencils don't come in very many colors, but they are much more affordable than the UD version.
