foundation: wore REALLY well! looked pretty good at end of night
brows - color stayed in all day, didn’t budge
palette: no creasing - looked the same at end of the night
liquid liner: was PERFECT throughout day into the night! did not budge

I travel using Cerave Hydrating bar always and on face and body, without any problems. No stinging, redness, dryness to eyes or face skin. I switched after a nightmare leaky liquid soap incident on the road, and I've never gone back. This is a holy grail travel item for me. Plus, I love not opening and wasting a harsh little hotel soap or using their unknown body washes.

I’ve used visible lift for several years, and love it! I’m 62 yrs old and although I use high end as well , o always find myself going back to the visible lift. My go to. 😊
I use at least 4 shadows if I'm taking the time to do shadow--crease, outer corner, lid, inner corner. But I also love doing even more for colorful looks. For me, It's either nothing or multiple shades 😂

Eyeshadow is my favorite part of makeup and I go all the way. I almost never use less than 4 shades. Lighter transition, sometimes a darker crease (still midtone, but darker than the transition), a step darker for the outer corner (sometimes even one more darker step just for satisfaction), midtone shimmer in the center eyelid, brighter shimmer in the inner third of the eyelid, brightest highlight around the tear duct and under the browbone. It's the gift I give myself and I find great joy in it.
"Exsqueeze me??" got me! I'm all over the place with eyeshadow - sometimes I skip it, frequently I'll use just two shades, but as soon as I try to add one more it becomes an elaborate affair of like seven shades plus liner
I use the visible lift foundation. I don’t remember who I saw suggest it for more mature skin but that’s why I tried it. I really, really like it. I’ve used up half a bottle so far. It doesn’t show texture and it’s buildable. I use my fingers to apply and then I go over it with a beauty blender. A serum foundation is usually what I have used, this one leans more that way but with coverage. So, any mature ladies on here might enjoy this one:)

I am your exact age lol. No, it doesn’t. That’s why I’ve been using it. I was just using serum foundations but wanted more coverage. I do think going over it with a beauty blender is necessary. I can’t believe I’ve had to seek out foundations for ‘mature’ skin…it happens I guess🤷🏻♀️

I always wear some powder shadow if I am wearing makeup. BUT I have found that as I get older, 1 shade all over the lid, blended up, is the most flattering (and so easy!).
I do tons of bright colorful complex eyeshadow looks. It's my art form. We have very different styles of makeup but I love your videos for how comforting and relaxing they are
0-3 are my usuals for eyeshadow. Lately, I have been doing a lot of fast one shadow looks with a touch of colored liner. 👍

I love the wet n wild foundation stick in a deeper shade as a cream bronzer it lasts forever! I haven’t tried it as a foundation but I love my wet n wild photo focus dewy foundation.
Yes same.....I use it as a foundation and also use a darker shade as my bronzer/contour and the way the complexion melds so well together is crazy!!! Especially if u use a wet n wild cream blush a long with it

I used to almost always wear 4 eyeshadows-transition color, lid color, darker outer corner and light browbone shades. Although recently, I’ve been more minimal and loving one shadow looks since I’m working from home.
I took the cereve bar to Europe with me and used it on my face. It was awesome! Didn't dry out my skin but my face felt clean . It lasted forever and I used it on my body once we were hom.
I always so appreciate that you leave wear notes in the description box. So so helpful! ❤ I usually wear one shadow all over the lid, but if I’m feeling adventurous, I add in an inner corner highlight.
I love one and done single shadows!😍 But If I’m really putting effort in, I’ll use 2-3 shades at most if I’m using a pallet.
I use MAC Bare Study paint pot on my eyelids, and bronzer on my outer corners...and that's it! People keep saying "Oh, you're doing that latte eye look!" Nope...been doing this for years and years! I LOVE makeup, but I don't love the makeup "look".
I used to use the Visible Lift foundation for years. I started using it after Prescriptives stopped being sold at department stores. (which I used for years as well) This was before I got hooked on TH-cam makeup tutorials. LOL Since then I’ve tried so many. I forgot all about it! I still love L’Oréal foundations though!
I do one to two colors for eyeshadow. I have hooded eyes so if I do too much in the crease it just gets lost. I like a smoky one eyeshadow look for nighttime events.
I used to wear so much eyeshadow. Now that I have 2 kids, I simply don’t usually have the time to do elaborate makeup. My go to for months has been a Laura geller face and eye palette. I use the French vanilla highlight on my lids and a little of the brown shadow as liner on top. It’s so easy and pretty.

Daytime look 1-3 shadows. The max would be crease, lid, and inner corner highlight. The minimum would be no makeup at all (my workplace is a very casual no makeup type of place).
But sometimes I play with my makeup before going out in the evening and then we're talking 6-8 shadows.
I have used the wet and wild foundation stick on my mature face when traveling. I like it, it's very creamy and easy to blend
Okay, a couple things. The Cerave bar soap is my hands down favorite soap for my face. It's lovely. Also, the Essence lipglosses are THE BEST! You have to get the clear gloss. It's my favorite lipgloss of all time. I just pair it with whatever color lipliner I'm feeling that day and it looks gorgeous, is super comfortable, and it somehow fills in my lip lines.
Edit: I forgot to add that my favorite LOWER LASH mascara is from Wet n Wild. It's the Mega Length mascara in the small purple tube and it's fantastic for the lower lashes. Casey Holmes turned me on to it a few years ago and I haven't looked back.
L’Oréal make such great foundations! I have never seen that line in Australia and it looks superb on you.

I have that wet and wild foundation stick and I really like it. It's easy to blend in for me. Also I've always been a one to two eye shadow wearer. I've never really known how to do more than that because I have hooded eyes lol but also it's easy and I think it still has a great effect.
I had to use up my FSA money before it expired and needed new glasses so I went to Warby Parker after watching so many of your vids (couldn’t use your affiliate code since I went in person) and I LOVE my frames! My skin was so dry after 2 surgeries last year! Like, more so than my normal dry skin! The Cerave bar really helped my entire body get over the excessively dried out skin! It really helped me! Use it!!😂

I was so excited to see you review the L'Oreal Visible Lift foundation. It was my HG for several years. About a year ago I saw fewer shades available, so I figured it was being discontinued. I have combination skin and live near the coast. This foundation provided a nice stain finish that adapted well to the different seasons.
I used to wear makeup like crazy but as ive gotten older, ive started to love and enjoy my flaws. I only wear eyeliner and lip liner/lipsticks now! I just enjoy watching you 😅 but i love all the lip recommendations from you and have purchased 99.9% of them because of you! If that counts!
How about a complete loreal makeover for us mature ladies that have older skin? It's Been awhile since I've seen loreal foundations used in any blogs. Curious to see what you think of a full face of loreal!
I also bought the Cerave cleansing bar on Taylor’s recommendation (for my face) and I love it! I was using the Cerave cream cleanser in the pump bottle before, but I think I like the bar better. It just feels more moisturising and luxurious, my skin feels softer and smoother after.
I have used Loreal Visible Lift foundation for years and years (like 20 years) and I've even recommended it to others.
I love eyeshadow pallets because I love color but in reality I only wear one to two eyeshadows at the most, if I have the time to do my makeup. Usually it's no eye shadow and just some quick makeup to not look scary. LOL It doesn't help that my eyelids are super dark and it's hard to find a shade that looks good. I really admire people who are good with eye shadow.

Some days, no eyeshadow or one color with a smidge of shimmer. I totally LOVE the Rare Beauty cream eyeshadow sticks - pretty reasonable for higher end. 😊 The mascara, I spit out my seltzer! "If it was the last mascara would I care?!?"😅😅😅😅

I do 4 eyeshadow colors. I do not follow trends. 1 blending shade, 1 for the crease, one for outer corner and 1 for inner half. And always use colors. Very rarely do a neutral look. Makeup is meant to have fun!!!
No matter how I try to scale back, I end up using two to four eyeshadow shades. I love a no shit eyeshadow look, sculpted and dramatic. I want to look like I'm wearing eye makeup-and like I good at it!

I usually wear 3 eyeshadows. I have hooded eyes, so I "make" my crease with a darker shadow so the hood recedes & a medium color on the lid and a lighter color under the brow to blend out the "crease" edge.

I wear 2-4 eyeshadows when I wear it. Usually Monday-Thursday for work. Friday is casual so I just do concealer, bronzer, mascara to give my skin a bit of a break

I have a video idea/suggestion. Maybe monthly or seasonally, do a full face get ready with me showing your favorite of each product type (foundation, blush, etc). Like if you could only choose one item for each category, at that time. I think it would be interesting to see what top favorites stay and what new items you like enough to put at the top of your picks!

Hi Jessica! I typically do 3 eyeshadow colors- crease, lid, highlight inner corner or a shimmer on top. Sometimes if I do a smokey eye or want to smudge out a liner it may go up to 4 or 5. But most days I do 3.
I tried that visible lift foundation I guess almost 30 years ago right out of college but thought it was for “old ladies”! Now I am one so I want to try it again! 😂
Most makeup days are no eyeshadow for me, just foundation, concealer, mascara and blush, but when I want a good shadow look, it's usually 3-4 shades 😊 unless I'm wanting a matte look then that's 1-3 😅
I use 1-3 eyeshadows. A matte to give my crease some depth (either eyeshadow or bronzer), and a dark brown to smudge my upper lash line. When I’m feeling fancy, I’ll add a little sparkle or glitter. Favorites are the Kaja bento in chocolate dahlia and the Catrice Nude palette.
I love videos like this! I just picked up a CoverGirl foundation the other day that I haven't heard anyone talking any! And it's so good! I giggled when the vacuum started and you were like "not right now!" 😂. Also, I always, always check to make sure products haven't been touched, especially after COVID. And if I get it home and it looks like it might have been touched, I always sanitize it.
I’m a more than 2 shadows type of gal. When I wear makeup, it’s usually something colorful and artistic in some way. I’m just one of those gals that if I’m gonna wear makeup, I’m gonna go for it. But I’m also an artist and beauty consultant for the Target core beauty and Ulta inside Target sections.

If im wearing eyeshadow I always use 3 shades minimum (1 transition/crease shade, 1 lid, 1 to darken the outer corner/outer upper lashline). Sometimes if im going all out ill do more but a basic look for me always includes 3 shades
I feel like these are the glasses you would have worn in an early 2000s teen movie where the boy never noticed you until they knocked off your glasses one day during gym class. You both reach for the glasses, apologizing to each other and as he hands you your glasses he looks at you says "woah, I never noticed your eyes before". Now if you and Tyler could make this a TH-cam short or IG reel all my dreams can come true😅

Most days I go without shadow, and on the days I want a little something something on my eyes I always reach for a cream shadow. Quick easy, one and done.
My sweet spot for eyeshadow is 3-4 colours (all over, crease, topper, inner corner) but on the days I use my single shadows it's a nice change of pace!

This is so randomly specific, but that Almay stick balm reminds me of the one in Miss Congeniality (that I’ve always wanted to identify/try), when she comes into the dressing room a hot mess and all the girls help her get ready 😂😂 and for that reason, I will be on the hunt to try this and hope I love it, even though, as you said, it’s really nothing special. But that association in my mind makes it so lol

I wear five eyeshadows, three actually make my eye look, one shade as a liner and I use one of the lighter shades for my highlighter on my face.
