A Storm Vulcan 85B was and still is a good machine for milling heads and blocks. Very easy and fast to mount a head, level it and make a cut. I ran one just about everyday for years.
I watch Greg Quirin. Ed reminds me of Aardem @ Braun. Another of that Generation. You should check them out how they make Engines. They over 50 Land Speed Records. I think Ed could sit down with them and have a great conversation. Thanks to You and Ed
The new machine is much faster than the old machine, but whatever machine they use in the factory when the heads were new, that one must be much faster still.
For racing or even high performance, the factory provides a good starting point. But a factory new engine is still built with cost and assembly time limitations that can be improved on.
More Ed! More Ed!
I hear you! We are working on it… thanks for your enthusiasm!
Thanks Ed. Your Generation Built This Country. Wish I could have met you Sir. You are such inspiration to All. Thanks
So nice of you
