I agree with your comments on console exclusives, Im happy we are moving to a point where console exclusives are starting to stop being a thing. also love the fact we have crossplay now
@@robfut9954 AI yes, but outsourcing is a genuine thing in the dev sector. Why pay someone a UK wage when you can get it for 1/5th of the price abroad.
Eh? All PCs are not made or owned by Microsoft.....! PS, glad you're still alive, thought it was odd you did not release any videos over Xmas! I really think you should focus on Xbox 360 game reviews though if you want videos that have far more long-term view potential though, you have a lot of 360 games now so covering 1 game every 2 weeks between your other videos would be viable. Assuming you can capture the footage yourself and you're not just screen recording footage like that Road Rash video you did, I really believe this would give your channel an even more consistent amount of views. As long as the reviews were put together well, I think they'd do perform well. I've suggested this previously in comments and even said to check my reviews as a basis as the are far superior to the odd few reviews you've done - not being big headed, especially as my view count is far lower.
The problem with GTA 6 is its been cooking for far too long which makes the stakes super high with the consumer. Sometimes its better to have shorter release cycles and turn over content more often for lower investment.
Once you complete the GTA 6 'campaign' which will no doubt be little more than a token 5 minute wonder; the rest will just be more GTA Online. As long as they can keep fleecing the GTA 5 whales in Online, why be in any hurry to release 6? If it dropped now the majority of them would no doubt jump on it but it won't take long before they're, basically, just straight back onto GTA online 🤷♂
Exclusives are actually a good thing as that creates competition between publishers. Us as consumers are winners, as there are more great games to play that way. We wouldn't have franchises like Halo, Uncharted, God of War, Gears of war etc if they weren't exclusives.
I only saw one guy criticising his direction and purpose of the videos. He did make some valid points though I felt about lack of focus in his videos or channel direction. The suggestions I made myself were to potentially give him something to focus on every week which would offer him consistency on a weekly basis. Just because other channels have less subscribers, doesn't mean you should just disregard everything they say.
Maybe it’s time to let this channel die gracefully. I’m not sure what your intentions with a new approach to content were but messy ramblings about somewhat relevant topics was not what I had hoped for when you said you sat down and planned out a bunch of fresh new content. If you want to go the news/opinion piece route then Start scripting and work on your videos pacing, try to find more engaging visual elements while you work on perfecting your delivery. And please improve your research and prepping, a little mistake here or there is one thing but it frequently sounds like you’re just kinda pulling things out of your backside with no real thought about what point you were trying to make. If collecting is still your primary focus, keep that focus, try talking more about games you buy or love, maybe try your hand at a scripted analysis, see where your strengths lie. I actually like you, when you’re enthusiastic about games, your fun to watch but rn the channel has no identity, I’m not even sure I could explain to a friend what your videos are let alone recommend them. Hope next year is a real fresh start for you one way or another, I’d love to see a proper comeback but it’s also okay to say goodbye sometimes
100%, really irritates me too when he says I want this to be my job yet he can't even upload once a week at time. Best thing he had going was the free game collection and even that the videos have fell off massively.
@@PiggyGuru123 I’d welcome more time between uploads if the quality of videos substantially improved, I don’t think quantity is his biggest concern. Evidently he couldn’t sustain an audience with going to the same cex and the very occasional boot sale (both in terms of physical growth and actually enjoying making content) so a pivot to less frequent more involved videos would not only make sense but give him a lot more creative freedom.
I've made suggestions to him him also about improving his channel. With over 80k subs, the potential is still there. The most obvious thing for him to do is review an Xbox 360 game once a week or once every 2 weeks and slowly comprise a 'Top 10' similar to what I do with my reviews on my channel. It is simple, but keeps people engaged to see if you find soemthing better to enter your Top 10. But, as always, he doesn't respond to comments or constructive feedback. If he was doing this full-time and serious about growing, he'd take the time to respond to comments and take onboard what viewers want.
Mate you talking about 3rd party exclusive games going to Xbox there no way Sony will put its first party games on Xbox where as it seems Xbox might put its first party games on PlayStation or the next Nintendo
PS has had better exclusives over the last 5 years. I have PS5 and Xbox Series X and there's way more exclusives on PS. PS puts out games on PC (which is a niche platform, you have to build a rig to play them) but on a delay. A lot of gaming is being day one, and PS5 has that locked down for exclusives. 2024 was definitely not a great year for PS, but Xbox is so far behind it's a bit sad.
Good luck with your new job TVM.
TVM loves CEX that much he's only gone and got himself a job there. He asked for wages to be paid in CEX credit instead of cash 😂
If I'd have seen him there working the other day when I went in his local, I'd have taken a snap for sure! lol
Stay well bro and a Happy 2025!

Exclusive content will be a thing as long as there are consoles, but more will port after time because of dev costs.
Dev costs are getting cheaper, labour these days is outsourced abroad so it now costs like $2.50 to make GTA 6
@ one day with AI that actually may be true ironically

The Precinct demo is on steam still
TVM slacks off and doesn't even do one video a week for CEX credit
Death stranding was always a times exclusive
Tvm trades his brain cells thinking Microsoft owns pc for cex credit
So what does TVM do for a job now then? (other than YT of course)
Part time worker/youtuber gets news from random colleague and reports it as news!
It was him saying PCs are a Microsoft product that I found weird. They make Windows, yes, but the PCs are not made by Microsoft!
I can only assume he was alluding to the fact that game pass is on PC?
@@Quesbitt Yeah, I assume so. He's not very clear sometimes and also sometimes states things that are not true at all lol.
I still have GTA4 and V campaigns to complete first. 😂😂😂😂

I thought The Precinct looked like American Fugitive, and yep, it is the same developer. That game was decent.

Exclusives are a good thing. Without exclusives there would only be a need for 1 home console.

TH-camrs criticising on fellow youtubers videos and giving them 'advice' in the comments when their channels are tiny in comparison is nuts.
I think I know who you're referring to, and their comments are pretty condescending.

Considering it's full time you'd think he'd do videos more regularly than 3 or 4 times a month

GTA isn't even that good of a series, like I liked 5 but I won't say it changed my life or anything.
