TVM outsmarts Cayle yet again with this awesome new series.
Yeah....one is making £3-5k per month and the other is skint selling his vouchers and looking for a job.....
@Thoushaltplaymore TVM gets more views per video and has about four times the subs. And without spamming people's feeds.
@@Thoushaltplaymore😂
@@ccipher5990 You've done it again. You're obsessed with Cayle vs TVM. And yes I realise I'm being hypocritical by pointing it out every time you mention Cayle.
@Andyzoot Sorry Andy but Cayle forced himself into everyone's feeds.
TVM sets up a tent inside CEX for CEX credit
Imagine being an unsuspecting CEX staff member when TVM rocks up and starts inspecting the entire stock?
It would be nice if you interacted with us in the comments section mate
yes its always nice to get a reply otherwise does not feel worthwhile bothering. Phill with a double L who does a physical media channel is great talking to all the subscribers , it makes a big differance
@PatrickIngham21 well he did say recently that he wants to grow his channel I don't think you can do that without interacting with your audience
He cba
Would you rather he banned people for asking reasonable questions like Cayle does?
@@ccipher5990 who is cayle?
Legend of Sayuki was a rare game, recently though some people in Italy bought a big job lot of 505 Gamestreet games in a warehouse sale or something like that. and a lot of the 505 games have suddenly become much more common on Ebay, prices at the moment are fluctuating. You may have seen the once very expensive Rule of Rose a 505 game, has lost a lot of value recently because of this.
Mate telling people to buy stuff to sell em higher online is exactly why these prices keep going up. your not helping your making it harder for real collectors to collect XD
You’re* 👍
TVM contributes to game price inflation for CeX credit.
It's funny that the truck racer is one I traced in and it was indeed brand new and opened to trade in as had a few copies. Same as Sayuki and rule of rose as Cwmbran, Merthyr and Newport all wanted to open the rules of rose.
Great video, thanks for sharing these excellent tips. Nor sure if you have already have one, but a game room tour would be great. I'd also be curious to have your thoughts on collectable ps3 / 360 games which are currently cheap to grab. Thanks again for the great content.
I suddenly started seeing lots of copies of Truck Racer for 360 dotted around several of the CEX stores I go in not too long ago. Did someone find a case of unsold sealed copies or something? 😂
Hogwarts Legacy PS4 is now £15.99 at Argos, and trades in for £18 at CEX
i do it all the time, if there is a few copies in stock i will just ask if we can look at them so i can pick the one i would like to buy, there was never a problem and i'm in many stores around me, cheers TVM and thanks for videos!
CEX don't unseal games anymore! I was in Newport CEX with my girlfriend the other month after all those Rule of Rose sealed copies flooded the market and she spotted one behind the counter. We got chatting to the guy serving us and he said people have been bringing in "sealed" copies to trade in and he's had to inspect them to make sure they were actually factory sealed (they weren't) so he can give them an accurate trade in price.
Really small world because I'm pretty sure I was stood behind you in the queue when you were having this conversation. I overheard a convo about it between an employee in Newport and a couple anyway.
I'm almost certain he was incorrect though. His reasoning was that they didn't have the official 'Playstation 2' opening strip and that the manuals were sometimes scagged? But both of these things were reasonable common occurrences back in the PS2 era, especially with publishers like 505 games. Their entire strategy was to pick up as many cheap licenses as they possibly could and publish whatever they got as cheaply as possible to make a quick buck. The genuine PS2 seals were most likely a lot more expensive for them than making their own seals and their machines used to print manuals were probably a lot cheaper.
He also said that he didn't understand why a bunch of UK PAL copies of a rare game were found in Italy but that's easily explainable as well. 505 Games were an Italian based publisher and their HQ was in Rome. All that's happened is that someone has purchased one of their old buildings and found over a lot of leftover stock.
@ hahah yeah from what you’ve said that 100% sounds like you were behind us. Think it was the 9th of October. Really small world.
Ah that’s a shame. Sounds like a fair few people might be getting done out of sealed prices then. Although, I’m not entirely sure the best way to verify if they’re factory sealed or not given this information.
And he referred to the ebay seller as 'the Italian man on the Internet' if I remember correctly haha?
Yeah, I think a few of CEX's employee's realised how many copies were getting traded in and figured that something dodgy was happening so they took it into their own hands and refused to give sealed prices as they could see that people were clearly exploiting their automated trade in quotes.
But in actuality CEX really have nobody to blame but themselves for not lowering the price faster.
I don't know if that depends on the platform the game is on or what CEX you go to, but I traded in a sealed PS5 game the other week and they made me take the wrapping off.
If i buy a game in CEX and it has multiple copies on the shelf i will often ask "Can i please have one with a decent condition disc" it shouldnt be considered a inconvenience, customers just want a working product for the money they are spending no matter how small. If the game you are buying is a single only copy then its a total lottery what you get and i hate that about the CEX model.
First Templar reminds me of Record of Lodoss War on dreamcast, cant remember if you have a DC but if you do i reccomend it great game you will enjoy it
I got a mint condition copy of mini ninjas for 360 and spectrobe origins from CEX
My mum bought me PS2 Futurama in 2008 as a kid, I found it way too difficult so I traded it. Regretting that now…
Maybe like some of our comments??
first.... for CEX credit
Futurama is significantly more rare in the US then over here in Europe because they simply just printed barely any copies.
Who knows why?
I can tell you exactly why.
Futurama was poorly reviewed and obbiously this was the case in both regions, but by the point it was released in America, it had already been cancelled on TV.
The UK were showing episodes about 6 months behind the US, so the game was advertised alongside the new cartoons and therefore had multiple print runs as more people retained interest in the franchise as the game was released.
I like Futurama more then The Simpsons so i dont understand this, its a great cartoon
TVM pays for haircuts with CEX credit
I still don't get why you think that asking CEX to give you the correct disc is "being an arse". You keep walking out with the wrong disc because you think you'd be out of order of you engaged in the conversation of "can I have a different disc mate" and they go "yeah no worries"
TVM knows CEX staff intimately and will know better than us how such scenarios may play out.
@@ccipher5990 I've been in many different CEX stores, the staff are all a bit like Gerard and Dobby out of Peep Show. They're easy to talk to and often give me free stuff when I mither them. So I really can't see any CEX staff taking any kind of offence by being asked to swap the disc.
@highnoon7097 Ha, fair point Noony. Although don't forget there is the CEX employee that TVM used to work with who has a grudge against him.
The classics version of midnight club is better, it’s the complete edition with all DLC included on the disc
It runs on Series X too iirc?
12 to 20 is still a 66% profit.
I can't find Raiden 5 for less than £25. Maybe your recommendation has put the price up. 😁
Correction it's on CEX for about £12.
Why dont people ask to see the discs in CEX? Then you cant get scratched up ones 🤷♂️
I ask, sometimes you get an immediate "We offer a 5 year warranty on discs, so if it doesnt work ... BLAH BLAH BLAH" thrown back at you and a 'FFS type sigh' even though its a perfectly reasonable request when you cant see what you are buying and its 2nd hand. I like my discs mint and i treat all my games well, i dont want some jam covered scratched coaster owned by a reckless owner.
TVM maybe interact with us in the comments
I think he respects that these comments are a space for his fans to have banter and doesn't want to intrude too much into that.
@ccipher5990 Really? I think that's a bit of a stretch
@@ToejamandEarl1983Perhaps, but at least he doesn't ban people from the comments like Cayle does.
