Fantastic demo 👏👏.. i have a vox amplug2 blues , I am planning to buy a better headphone, which will sound better , an 80 ohm or 250 ohm headphone ? Will vox amplug2 blues output be enough to drive a 250 ohm headphone ?
Honestly, I have no idea about ohms. I personally recommend studio grade headphones like the audio technica m50x, which I use. These are 47 ohms. You can check it out here: amzn.to/3ldUcB5 (affiliate link)
i have a quick question :) When you plug your headphone does it give sound to both your headphone and outside or just to headphones which I hope? thanks in advance
Dude can you get a hold of all the other ones, you by far have explained all that you can do with these plug-ins. This has to be the best demo of this plug-in.
I have a whole playlist that has my other headphone amp reviews. You can check it out here: th-cam.com/play/PLap1pz9X8FvPLnH3wGtZBN6D7zB_McdLw.html Thanks for watching!
That's great ! You deserve more followers. I like your working method : "gain 1 tone 1 volume 3'' etc. It really allows to test the amp's sound. You should change your video image description and put this "gain 1 tone 1 volume 3''. It will allow people to really understanf what the video is about and that's great !
@@GrowWithGuitar Well, I searched for ''blues amplug'' in TH-cam. In the list I could see the title of the video and the amplug with your face. It was not possible to guess you would test gain tone and volume the way you did it. You could put the picture of the video at 2:00 instead. This could allow to guess quickly that you tested all levels of volume gain and tone, before even watching the video. Hope you understand what I mean.
@@GrowWithGuitar Yes that's it ! The thumbnail. Sorry for my English (I write from France). There are many reviews about amps or amplugs but yours is very precise and really shows what the amp can do.
I wanted to use this on acoustic with one of those gizmos that turns anything into a speaker. Basically making a tonewood amp would love to know your thoughts on this I play in places you cant bring a amplifier
hello from Italy, I didn't understand how to go from green Ch to orange ch, and to red channel. Then how, on the fx go from variation 1 to variation 2 ... and lastly, what is the "aux" socket for, thanks ...
You can quick press the power button to toggle between green, orange, and red. The fx variations are toggled by holding the fx button and quick pressing the power button. That is also shown in the video. The aux socket is for connecting your phone so you can play music through it.
If it is an acoustic-electric guitar with a 1/4" input then it should work. You just have to plug it into your guitar jack. Make sure your volume is up when you try. Mine was all the way down and I thought it didn't work haha.
Can I ask why you need this and need to be able to use your headphone for your acoustic? Unfortunately, you won't be able to use these with your acoustic guitar, but I might be able to recommend a different solution based on your needs.
@@GrowWithGuitar I just live with my family and I don't have a place for myself to play guitar or anything else so I thought I might be able to use headphones for my guitar and by the way my guitar is yamaha f310
I just bought this today before I buy my first guitar! (Hopefully this weekend if the seller even replies to my texts) Edit: came close to buy the clean version but I just preferred this
Hi. Thank you for your videos, the best reviews videos about the Amplug2 to me. I don’t know which model I should buy. I’m hesitating between Blues and Clean. I’m a beginner, I have a Telecaster, I play country music (Cody Jinks mostly) and also Creedence Clearwater revival… I have a Vox Mini3 g2 amp, but I think it could be a good idea to go for an Amplug as well for playing by night without disturbing neighborhood. I know my mini3 have an headphone jack but I find Amplug is more convenient. Thank you
It is made of plastic, but it does the job. Most headphone amps aren't going to be much better in terms of build quality. I was a bit disappointed at first as well.
You’re asking a lot for something that’s $40-50... it’s plastic and let’s you play with headphones in. You want this thing to be over $100 so it’s made with better material? It just houses electronics lol.
When I see non-cringe, no bullshit straightforward review like this, I must encourage You! Love your work and keep at it, man! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!

The best review out there...super thorough thru all of the options. I bought this because of your demo. Thanks!
Awesome, thank you!
Best audio-visual demonstration for these I have seen thusfar. 🙏♥️☮️
Great demo! Very thorough run through of the features.
Thanks Doug.
Thanks for that, Joseph... a very useful guide to the AP2-BL.

Amazingly comprehensive and so well thought out review. Thanks!

Very informative and to the point. Thank you for keeping it simple!
The best review of YT! Thnx.
Is there anyway to bypass leaving it totaly clean
i have a quick question :)

The sound only comes through the headphones.
@@GrowWithGuitar thank you so much
I have this but my headphone sucks. Can you please recommend a headphone that can get best sound out of Amplug2 ?
How did you record this? Is it possible to get these sounds out of the amp into a audio interface?

What is the difference bt this and the clean one 🤔
The blues model has a warmer overall tone to it. I have a video comparing all the models if you want to compare.

I think blues if you want to play some country music parts that use overdrive. Otherwise, the clean has the best clean tone.
Great video man I myself play the guitar. I will try out this amp. Thanks man
Thanks Tony 😀
I need p2/p2 for making backing tracks work on this amplug?
Using a smartphone
Idk what p2/p2 is, but you need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to connect your phone to the Amplug. There is a link to one in the description.
@@GrowWithGuitar in Brazil we call it p2 hahaha tnx anyway. If I buy it I'll do it for backing tracks
Excellent review very thorough..thank you

In a acoustic guitar, how works o ac blues?
Alguen sabe cómo activar las variaciones de efectos ???
I prefer the AC30 for Blues to Rock, even Jazz and 70s pop.
very cool!
Lol i have the same guitar and you convinced me to buy this amplug
Your exelent thank you
