Chipmunks Come For A Snack

Several Chipmunks have become attached to me due to the peanuts I carry in my pockets.
Three in particular are so fixated on my every move around the farm that I can't hide from them. Chipmunks are fun!

Greetings Friend...I hope you are having a good summer. We are Blessed with these little guys, on the ground they outperform the squirrels, but squirrels have nailed it with the acrobatic climbing. Chipmunks trust humans much more than the squirrels and soon come to the hand. In terms of birds we find that the Nuthatches are the most courageous, they will land on my head when I am hanging up the bird feeders. Thanks for your videos, Chris

Hello Chris. It is the same here with the exception that the Chickadees are more trusting than the Nuthatches. Funny how that is. Stay well.

They will hang out in a tent with me,; however, when the sun drops below the horizon they head for their burrows to sleep the night away.
