2.2 diesel is a totally different car to the petrol.. you don't notice the difference in acceleration between sports mode and smart in the petrol and the revs well its loud inside for no pull. The diesel.. instant pull and impressive power
North America gets the NA 2.5L or a turbo 2.5L. No V6 available unfortunately. My 2012 has the 3.5L V6 (276HP) and AWD. I love it..so far, only had it a year.
Hi Amelia, nice car indeed. I would have liked a few more technical and off road comments and tests. I have a Highlander since a few months and I am very happy with the car. Without reading the manual, however, difficult to understand all the exorbitant features of the car.
Here in the states the Santa Fe is only offered in a 5 seater and you can only get a 2.5L in the SEL and a 2.5L turbo in the limited and the calligraphy and there’s also the hybrid the Hyundai also puts the 2.5 in the all new Tucson and the same engine is also in the new Kia Sorento and the Santa Fe Hybrid set up is the also the same in the Tucson and the Sorento here in the USA

Yes the Sante Fe has become a legend but the new model with the duel clutch transmission maybe for all the wrong reasons. I'll be sticking with my 2017 model with the tried & proven tranny.
I purchased this vehicle at the beginning of this year. Upon picking up the car I found the front door trims misaligned with the dash. It is glaringly obvious the door trim needs to be moved about 5 to 7 mm to create a neat finish. When I asked the dealership they didn't seem to bother. They requested I report that to Hyundai which I did, only to be told this is normal. In my opinion, this is very ordinary for a vehicle costing almost $60k. Wish I could post photos on here!! Why did Hyundai slap a 2019 interior design on a 2021 car? Because it's a facelift not a new design? Personally I would choose the Kia Sorento it has a fresh interior not slapping what they have laying around just to finish up a design.
Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs and amazing technology. Gasoline and diesel are OLD polluting technology. So last century. Hydrogen is a waste of time and money. Electric cars, electric trucks, electric buses, electric trash haulers, electric snow blowers, electric lawn mowers, electric snow mobiles, electric water craft, electric garden tools, electric mechanic tools, electric motor cycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric farm tractors, electric construction equipment, electric delivery vehicles, ...... everything is going electric. No worries about starting after sitting for a few months. Gas always needs repairs.

Rubbish mate. You need oil ,coal and iron ore to produce a car. The same is true for a EV. Volvo confessed to make a EV is 70% more emisions than a ICE. You are not "saving" the plannet. To charge them come almost all from coal or gas generation. Please spare us the %&#@
