It is a city SUV , will never go of road. Just traded my 2017 3.3 l for the 3.5 l 2023 model. It is only on demand awd anyway. Will hardly ever use it.
Going for a V6 makes sense in terms of refinement (and lets face it, it will probably last longer than a small turbo'd engine anyway). Going 4WD would have bumped that fuel economy up even more.
I agree. I have got the 2022 v6 3.5 litre fwd. Just done the Adelaide/Melbourne and back and got 8.9 l/ 100 km . 3 adults and luggage. Very happy and a very smooth engine and great 8 speed auto.
Pretty sure that not accessing the third row (for primarily young children) from the right hand side is a well thought of safety feature so that children access the 3rd row from the safer non traffic kerb side. Nice video Amelia. Hyundai are really raising the bar on every update.
Always a bit odd to see people from Australia wearing winter clothes, everytime you see Australia in our media, it's like they are in a heatwave 365 days a year XD Anyway, kinda a nice car. I think it's a bit big for the body styling, but I am not all that much in big SUVs anyway. Interior is very nice I'd say, I like it more then the interior of the equivalent VW!
FWD only for the V6? Wow. Makes me wonder why Hyundai made that decision. another great review Amelia!!!

Excellent review!...I think this is the best car review channel...best regards from Mexico..
Unfortunately the V6 was discontinued for the North American market. My 2012 has the 3.5 V6 (276 HP) and AWD. I love it.
super fine Amelia returnssssss
Good channel, great video editing... i don’t know why less 100k subs
V6 with AWD is Available in Middle East market

If I want music, I look elsewhere. Otherwise a good review on the Santa Fe.
Can't believe they still give you halogen headlights for the price. Mazda and Toyota already offering LED at cheaper trim levels
Hyundai the best growing car brand!!!
Why doesn’t Hyundai offer the 3.5 V6 with all-wheel-drive versions of the Santa Fe in Australia, like they do in other markets where the V6 is sold?
The V6 isn't compatible with RHD due to engineering constraints.
This V6 is what we needed here in the U.S. Did you mean the V6 is FWD only? or just the test car is FWD? If it's FWD only then it seems worthless
So beautiful !

Not sure why your cameraman kept moving left and right while you're in the backseat. That door peaking in and out the edge of the frame was irritating
I love the way Australians say Hyundai 😄 "He-un-day"
Well, it is pretty similar to how it's meant to be pronounced
Reads it as 202kw even though the screen shows 206kw
This must have been filmed before Covid testing started at Victoria park
Why does the current generation got a ‘new’ engine while new generation is coming? Especially the car is a FWD.
body wise its good but the front lights its a turn off for me

Snows in Australia too.
This is already replaced with 2021 model.
Yep
That is higher fuel consumption than my V8
Where is Jenny ? 💞
fwd is pointless. this is australia, we have dirt.
very limited choice in Aus.
