I also want interesting facts about space in that game, for example: An Iphone would weigh 10 ton on a white dwarf star.
A dwarf star is the remeaning of the core of a star( type M, K, G, F) after its hydrogen was used. Then, gravity wins and begins to crush the core of the star while the rest of the star falls off. A white dwarf star can also become an 1A star if it is a dubbelstar. It begins to suck the gas of the dubbelstar.
In the white dwarf star takes kernfusion place. There is oxygen, karbon and eventually iron created. But iron doesn't produce energy if it fuses together.
Eventually the star can't take the iron anymore, and explodes. In the explosion also takes fusion place, but way more powerfull, there is siver, gold, platina etc. created.

I prefer the first game over the second, probably because it feels more spacey, has cooler things, and the story is amazing. I loved going through the Comet Observatory. Don't forget Rosalina had a bigger role, making everything better than YOSHI.

Super Mario world will always have that special place in my heart. My dad used to let me play on the snes emulator, and he once installed some mario pack with like 10 different mario games. But i never played any other mario game on that rom, it was always super mario world xD.

100% agree with #1. The nostalgia is only a tiny bit of love I have for that game. The music is another portion but the gameplay was perfect. Wish I could play it one more time. 🙎

This was my first 3d platformer (technically it was the DS remake), and man they were so good.
I 121% agree with #1 hehe. This was my first mario game I owned when I was little. I didnt really get it at first, but once I played it again and again, I grew to absolutely adore this game. I find myself going back to it and playing new save files over and over again. You may call my opinion biased for it being my first mario game, but I think we can all agree that this game is one of the best 3D platformers ever created.

I freaking love Super Mario Galaxy! That my favorite game I can actually play. Although I do prefer the first one, because I've been playing it since I was 3 and have fond memories of it, whereas the second game I got a month ago (4/30/17)...

my favorite series is definitely paper mario but galaxy 2 is one of my favorites. its just really good with pretty much everything

I think this list is really good and not something blinded by nostalgia. I 100% agree on the no 2 & 1 spot. Super mario world is definently the best 2d mario game, and that goes for super mario galaxy 2 too in 3d. Actually replaying it right now and i can with confidence say that it's my favourite video game of all time. I ADORE PLATFORMERS!!!

The Adam Belinson I just prefer the RPG-games over Galaxy. I also like Sunshine better than Galaxy (though I've only played SMG2). Mainly because the Galaxy titles are so slow-paced compared to Sunshine and even 64.

i gotta say this my all time favorite game EVER no matter what will always be Yoshi's Island and my second one is Super Mario World but on a top ten list i would have a really tough time making one cause i just love Mario in general as how my first game was Super Mario Kart and my first platformer was SMW and my second one was SMB3 then SMB but really you did a great job!
Ive never beat Super Mario Galaxy bc I never owned it, but I can admit the innovation really was amazing and even if i never owned it I still have nostalgia for this game as a Pre Teen, I still love SMS and SM64 just as much.

Niccobiq, no, you are not alone. I haven't even played the sequel yet and I already want a third super Mario galaxy but they did something kinda similar with super Mario 3D world so they probably won't but it would be cool if they did
My two fav games are new super mario bros wii, because its lit and I've got so many memories playing it.

2 has far better galaxies, and the OST is comparable.
@@callinater6133 Some Track are recycled from the first game, and some bosses concept too. Galaxies are larger but with shorter courses and the prankster comets are more boring
@@boschy3657 hard disagree on prankster comets. The speed run comets actually have appropriately strict time limits and I felt the levels were of a similar length most of the time.
The boss concepts are similar yes, but that goes for every mario game. Fiery gobblegut was a ton of fun though.
Yeah some tracks are recycled but most of them were still original. And for what it’s worth the recycled tracks were put to good use imo.

I think SMG2 is better than SMG1. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 64 are the Best Mario Gámes EVER!!!!!!
smg2 imo sucks because it has less gravity platforming and more block platforming, it didn't feel like a sequal, was super boring and had a lack of story, and the green stars sucked.
smg2 fucking sucks. they took away the overworld map and made you navigate through worlds (which doesnt even make fucking sense) and even if we have yoshi he barely does shit. smg2 also repeated the same bowser fight over and over again while mario galaxy final boss was way different each time. You also have to beat each level to progress. in smg1 as long as you had the stars you could skip the level. you also only got 3 save files in smg2. it also took was the completionist ending when you beat the game FUCKING TWICE. smg2 just lets you continue as luigi and not start over as luigi. smg1 also had LORE in the ending that revealed why all mario games make sense and mario gets extra lives. so dumbass replay smg1 you feck
I played both and I'm not going to make justified point but I preferred smg2 it had more content and was more fun, the new world were more interesting and bibrant

Don't get me wrong, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario World are amazing games, but my all time favorite Mario game, and game in general, is 64. It's just so amazing, so many worlds to explore, and each have so much significance, difficult but rewarding platforming, and all around amazing bosses, gameplay, and (for it's time) graphics.

My 3 favorite Mario games are Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario 64 DS, and Super Mario 3D Land. 3D Land I REALLY like, because that was the Mario game that REALLY got me into the series, although Galaxy and 64 were better imo.
