Great drone, be careful of small twigs obstacle avoidance is very good, but it does struggle with small twigs and bald branches. Welcome to the drone community. you could not have picked a better drone. It is the best drone under 250 grams by far,,,
Thanks for that tip. I hope it will survive long enough without me crushing it 😅
@diaznashh I recommend flying more and not relying on the avoidance and waypoint features. They're great to have, but you'll never really learn to fly 1 unless u practice flying it normally. I recommend getting good filters also.
Nice! Just purchased one myself. Let's go Airborne!
Congrats brother! The more you fly the better you get at flying...
technically this is your first time taking off with the drone on your channel.
within the first 5 seconds of flight he says “lets try to ram into a tree”...
you my friend just got a sub from me! love the attitude and trust in the sensors.
dji makes amazing drones and from my experience treat me better than my own family.
no word a lie.
3:58 - you can take a screen recording of the remote, then add that video on top of the main timeline to show the viewer what’s exactly on your controller. You need an extra SD card for that though.
the audio quality of your channel is starting off amazing with that mic, it is on my Wishlist.
you have a calming energy and I look forward to your future videos 😊👍🏼🐝🎥
DJI has dominated the market and so far they can justify their growth. Thanks for the tip on adding a micro sd. I wasn’t sure what the purpose of sd port was on the rc2 controller.
Great choice of drone, just takes practice to gain confidence!
Happy to add your channel, it's good to connect with other drone pilots.👍
Thanks. I’ll get better with flying it and already looking forward to a point where I’ll be more professional with flying and using it in projects.
Fantastic mate, keep up the good work, subscribed to see your next video and progress, well done 👍
Thanks! Mine was delivered yesterday, I'm also new to drones and I'm looking forward to more videos from you!
Thank you. I will sure do make more videos with the drone and photography in general.
You made the correct choice on your Drone selection!!
Great video mate keep uploading, please
Yes my man, is so nice to see a new mini 4pro out box, trusting the drone it take a lot more time to master enjoy my bro Dias, really enjoy wao....
I will get better at flying it with time. Thanks for watching.
This is such good info for drone beginners. Appreciate your sharing the experience.
Thank you 😎
Congrats.keep flying you will get better at it.
Great first flight. Beautiful scenery
Scotland is beautiful
Well done, I really enjoyed the. Idea and the review. You have earned yourself a subsciber
Thanks a lot 😎
Great video man, just got mine as well, as a begginer too. Cheers brother, good flights
Nice. Don’t let it gather dust. Flying the drone is easy but quite fun. Brings in a totally new perspective.
i got the mini 2 se 3 months ago and now i want this one. they are so fun
Good 1 bro. Keep hanging in there.
So yeah let's try to ram a tree is an instant classic. Haha. Amazing bit of kit there. 👍👍
Great video!
Just got the mini 2 se last week absolutely loving it. Just still working on trust and using it will upgrade in a couple years to what ever newish one is out. I have had it out 2km to the downtown from my house sitting in my backyard at 500m just crazy something you can just chill at home and control can go so far plus I could of gone further just was getting sketched out being out so far to poor to buy another $350 drone lol.
I doubt there’s a huge difference from mini 2 to 4. Seems like updates are often very marginal.
Thanks, Nahashon! I purchased mine about a month ago and have not had time or good weather to fly mine. Nice to see that it will be easy for me to get it going.
It’s super easy. I have to say am having the same challenge. Not being able to fly it as often as id imagined. Hope you have managed to fly it at least once though.
Well done mate nice video.
Thank you 😎
Nice first flight...
Nice job bro👍👍👌
Great job! I've had mine for a couple of weeks and found mostly the same.
Worth avoiding S (sport mode) unless you want to become better aquainted with the Care Refresh setup 😢
Well done man .. great video.. keep doing "You". Be bold.. you're doing Great!! 😉💪🏾👍🏾✅
Thank you 🙏🏾
i ordered one of my own just this past sunday and it is coming in a few hours..like you i am a beginner as well its supposed to be here in about 2 hours...im excited great video I will probably make one too i subbed to your channel by the way
Thank you. I hope you got to fly it and feel free to share your link.
Nice video and tips 👍
I thought the video was excellent, but the comments? The comments man, they're are even better!!! Wow! So many positive people in one thread!
Thank you and true. I felt very welcomed with the drone community on here. Am putting more miles on the drone and will be making more videos about it soon.
Nice job. 👌👌👌👌
Watch out for small skinny obstacles like small bare tree branches and small wires. It is a known fact that obstacle avoidance cannot see these! Also, obstacle avoidance is turned off in Sport mode.
The mini 4 pro is going to be a great drone I could tell the first time I flew it and once I got cini st up just right then normal half speed a sport or full speed. 😮
Flying it at half speed seems to get more smooth “cinematic” shots. Still experimenting with what works best.
Wow
Yes mate this is great, just got one myself and finding feet/wings with it 👍. Where is the location, looks like Peak District or similar?
The location is benarty hill in scotland. A beautiful location and lots of free space to practice with the drone.
It's a great drone. I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you. So easy to fly and very good quality videos and images coming out of it.
Can we see more of the landscaping where you are from.Thank you.
Am in scotland. I have several drone photography videos I will be shooting which am looking forward to.
I subscribed you today bro. Wish you all the best. I am gonna buy one soon….🎉
Thanks a lot. Its a great drone so far.
Nice drone. Keep practicing you won't be a beginner for too long
🎉🎉🎉
Super nice isn't it?!? I can't wait to start getting video of some local sites myself. Remember to fly INTO high winds if possible... that way if it has to come home, the wind can help carry it back
I plan to use it to get footage to sell as stock footage and maybe recoup some of the cost. It doesn’t handle very well in high winds. I have got several warnings to bring it home because of strong winds.
@diaznashh Amen brother!! What a way to make money doing what you love. Blessing!
if you are moving such as at 7:00 can it only hover behind you and record your back or can it also hover in front of you to record your face?
You can set it to hover and follow you from any angle. As long as it’s not too close that the sensors think you are an obstacle.
Nice video! I was looking for this as I never flew a drone before.
Quick question for you or any other DJI mini owner.
If you don’t want to take the perfect shot/video, but you just want to fly for fun.. is the dji mini fun to fly around?
I want to buy the mini 4pro for all the nice features like follow me etc. but I also like the Avata 2 as it seems more fun to fly.
Please let me know your thoughts, I am looking to purchase one of them in the next 48h 🤩
Thats a good question. I hvave flown the drone several times now and am always suprised at how fast it is. Its nice to fly but if you dont plan on using the camera taking good shots, then I don’t think it will make any sense to get one. Id recommend you buy the avatar or any other fpv drone because you can do a lot more advanced movements with those and it will be way more fun. Especially if you pair it with the dji goggles for virtual reality flying. I have never flown an fpv drone though so am making an assumption here but based on the many videos i have watched of people flying them, they do seem way more fun than a regular drone. A regular drone serves the purpose of wanting to get nice smooth slows shots only. Or photography. Not particularly flying for fun. Especially considering the cost.
@@diaznashh thank you for getting back to me!
I didn’t buy anything yet, but I think to satisfy my dreams I will need both, one to have fun and one for video and photo 😅 will see ✌🏼
Great review Nah. I almost have enough saved to buy the same..👍
I have flown it several times more and it's a great drone, its worth the money.
Always check the area you are flying in for flight restrictions I.e SSSI controlled area space use Drone assist
Thanks for the info. Any app recommendation to help with that? I have been using the dji fly app which just shows it enforcement is tight in a certain area.
what place are you in good place to fly there?
Based in Scotland. Yeah theres several places to fly although I think it will be better to do full flight school to get access to most locations.
It's good to get a neck strap for the controller. Then you have 2 hands free of you need them
I didn’t even think of that. Thanks for that tip.
Very nice video bro… keep up the good work. The skills you demonstrated despite being a Brand new flyer can be gained by watching TH-cam Videos… I bought a DJI Mini 4 PRO October 2023 but haven’t flown it yet lol too busy I suppose!
I have watched hundreds of drone videos since the early days of the Dji phantom drones and am happy to have finally managed to get one. You should create time and fly it in a field. You are missing out 😅
@@diaznashh
Nice one! Yes I will I’m going to purchase Mega pack ND Filters and a landing mat! If I feel brave I might put my first flight on the Web!😬🇯🇲
Great video thanks for sharing and a sub from me
Thank you 🙌
First time ever ?? Then how come you master taking off and landing from/to the hand ? And how to turn the drone upside down to make the motors stop ? Definitely not a beginner... :-/
I watched roughly 4hrs worth of TH-cam videos to learn how to fly. Downloaded DJI app and trained for a bit and that was it. Taking off from hand or catching the drone from flight is way easier than it looks. I have no reason to lie. The drone is truly so easy to fly am even slightly disappointed there’s no challenge 😅
Mine was delivered yesterday, I've never flown one before and it is that easy!
Before I bought my M3P last year I watched hours of videos and have never done an automatic takeoff and have always done a catch landing. I believe @diaznashh is absolutely truthful.
If you make money from TH-cam. Need to get 107 license. Fly a drone
Didnt know that. I can’t find information on that in the UK but I have seen a different commercial license i will need to apply for.
107 is for USA
