How's the tub been? Did you spray out the inside or does it come sterile? Just placed an order for one. This lady has kinda inspired me to finally get going I've wanted to for so long and seeing her videos just made it seem so achievable.. any ways happy shrooming and much ❤️
@@thatdude421 it’s definitely achievable. I had no idea what I was doing back in November. I’ve had around 14 successful tubs since then. Not all using the inflatable tub, of course, but plastic shoe tubs. Anyway, I’m not sure if she’s delivers them sterile or not, but I doused it in 70% ISO alcohol anyway. Worked for me. I wouldn’t mist the top, as it would pool and drop droplets of water on the mycelium and bruise it. Just mist the sides when it’s ready.
(This is all hypothetical, of course)

I'm not sure how serious we all are about mushrooms, but I've been using a Levoit Core 300 air purifier and my room is almost dustless. It costs 100 bucks on Amazon, ($35 for filters) but it means less contamination and is good for our health in the long run so win win.
How big a room you got that in
I was thinking of utilizing a 16x24 building and am looking at different option on the flow box. I have a squirrel she and was going to mount it on the outside and feed in fresh air but it's too big I think. I don't want to create a wind tunnel.

Do you have any tips on drying them without a dehydrater
I've always just laid them on a screen but you could just put them in a colander for air flow around them if you don't have a dehydrator. Once mine are dry I store them in a Ziploc in the freezer. I've had them last for 2 years like that.
The reaction from them seemed to take longer but was fantastic.

I do everything completely in my home, you should have success following my steps!

Hello there. I can't really afford to heat my grow room with space heater but I would love to use this inflatable monotub. Are there any heating solutions you could suggest? I currently use a tubular heater that heats un upsides down 100l tub to grow bags in.

Ordered two tubs.. everything was holding air until I added my substrate to one of the tubs. It lost about 60% of its air.. is this normal ??

Hey Ashley I’m a new rookie mycologists I have been following you and PGT an Bass for enough knowledge to finally start I’m working on AIO bags atm and I’m about to open my first bag! Do you think your inflatable tub will help me while fruiting in the bag or is it overkill. I’m only trying to mitigate contamination this is why I want to fruit in the bag but put it in the tub.

Bommer I have failed at the cake method, I’m doing the shoe box tec now I have a lot of white mycelium..but have no pins…I know it may sound silly but it’s really upsetting…if you or anyone can give me tips…on growing anything and all would be granted…I have been trying since late September I believe…and congratulations Ashley I’m waiting for my tub to come in the mail!
Hi sweet Leslie. My mycelium drop down to 55° when my thermostat went out. They've only been in the Rye for about a week now and haven't started producing yet. Do you think the cold weather will prevent them from producing? The temperature was down for about 2 days
I just bought your inflatable and it is coming in the mail tomorrow! I just have a question before I begin: how many quarts of grains are in each 2.5 lb spawn bag?
I am not sure. Probably like 3-4 qts of spawn. I usually recommend 3 pounds of spawn and 3-5 pounds of bulk per tub.

Can you please assist me with some specific quantities for my monotub ((13.5 X 20.5)?? How many pounds of sterilized grain spawn per sterilized substrate will I need when growing mushrooms?
I bet they grow better if you play soft music like this for em. Ive heard studies on this about other plants.

Hi Ashley! I have a question! As I know that silver can kill bacteria so I would like to use a silver knife to use for collecting spore or cutting germination agar! Do you think mixing in a little masters mix would do any good for these, for example? Would it just be a waste of resources?
