Sad to see what animals are going thru but very happy to this mans mission. Thank You sir!!!
Such a small little thing to do but so profoundly impactful. Bless this man
Wow, this story really blew me away. Well done!
Those poor little guys. I can't believe one actually had to resort to using a broken glass bottle for a home.
You are an amazing human, thank you!
It's very protective so he chhose a good one glass bottles harder than a shell cooking in the sunlight
@@maszkalman3676Shells have been working well for millions of years. They don't need our trash to live successfully, and we don't need an excuse to not be environmentally accountable.
How absolutely lovely and unique! 😍 Hopefully, people who come across these "rehomed" crabs respect their right to be on the beach and leave them be. 👍
I noticed the hermit crabs have a coiled-up body shape that fits well in a spiral shell, so it makes sense they're more than happy o make the switch. Thank you for caring for these little guys! ❤
I like how hermit crabs gather together to trade shells. Just for them to find the perfect home
This is such a beautiful act of Kindness!
It starts with the smallest little life, and saving that life can end up saving us all 🥰
It's so refreshing to find someone who has the heart to care for such an "insignificant" animal as these crabs and taking the time and trouble to provide them with shells 🐚 (even several) they can choose from.
Huge respect and thanks to this man and everyone else who helps to protect our wildlife ❤❤❤
This man is an incredible person. And we need more like him.
What a fun Nature Building Project!!♥️ Great job and a BIG thank you🐚from the hermit crabs‼️
I've never even considered that taking shells is literally stealing homes.
I haven't been to a beach in decades, and can't remember picking up shells or not, but I feel So Bad!!
Thank you so much for phrasing it that way
I'm definitely going to return my whole shell collection the first chance I get
This is so sad to see. How terrible for them. It's fantastic there's a man like this to help them.
God bless this man.
Beautiful story.❤
What an absolutely beautiful and thoughtful story! Much love and many respects to this sweet kind hearted gentleman (he definitely deserves the gentle). If only humans could be kind to nature and the environment, we wouldn’t have so many species that are endangered or completely wiped out. God bless you! ♥️🙏🏼♥️😻♥️🫶🏼♥️
How incredible is this guy❤ what a big heart he has.
My respect ! Thank you on behalf of these animals 🦀🧖♀️
I just searched and discovered that Hermit Crabs *ARE* considered an "indicator species" for coastal pollution, among other bio-factors. I love this man and his project for helping our tiniest little creatures here on our small spinning rock called Earth 🐚🦀❤️
This is one of the best conservation projects I’ve seen, an incredible project to get involved in. Thank you for sharing this
I NEVER considered the impact of picking up, or buying shelves. Omg. Thanks for this!
This never even crossed my mind! Thanks for the nature lesson! What a beautiful thing to do!! 🐚♥🦀♥🐚
I never thought about that! We're taking their homes. :( This man is incredible and wonderful! He is making important difference. All respect man
You do realize that he took shells from the beach to give to the crabs right?
@@yoshisaidit7250you do realize people take shells from the beach and keep them at home where a crab can't access it
@@danny208YT Whadda mean a crabs cant just walk into your house? Is that a law er sumthin?
@@danny208YT People also replace those shells with plastic crab homes.
Thank you for caring about these wonderful creations.
Nature is truly remarkable thank you for finding them new homes
This guy is awesome. He saw a problem and decided to help!
Wow!! What fun to be able to offer up real shells to the lowly hermit crab!! I never really thought about a lack of shells that would force these tiny creatures to wear plastic trash. This cannot go on!! At my first opportunity I'm taking my shells back to a beach, any beach, and leaving them around....I sure hope the little crabs can find them before any humans do!
What a fun project! God bless you, kind sir, for thinking of these humble creatures that are trying to live the best they can! 🐚🦐🐚🦐🐚🦐🐚🦐
Because as kids, we have school projects or games where we collect all pretty shells. Trying to outdo and brag one another on the beach. They need to reeducate the kids about it. And the collection ended up as trash and forgotten anyway
"Respect and Reconnect with Nature" This was absolutely fascinating ❤ 🐚
Glad someone is caring about the hermit crabs. ✌️
Truly inspiring, good on people for helping these little fellas and you sir are a wonderful person!
I absolutely adore this guy and his work. I'm not at a beach very often, but when I go, I do like to look for beach glass and shells. I've always looked in the shell first to see if it's occupied, But, I hate to admit, it never occurred to me I'm reducing the housing market! What kindness and compassion. I want to spread the love and share on my 2 social media apps. And, hopefully inspire others.
This is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen.
Im crying. So sad to see them using discarded waste as their home. 😢
Thank you sir for helping these hermies. ❤
Ill do my part, when i go to the beach and pick up trash and put down shells, my family that has collected over the years.
That is so awesome thank you kind sir, for taking care of a hermit crabs
This is so sweet, it brought tears to my eyes - just seeing how the little crabs willingly chose the lovely shells over the tight plastic lids, shows they knew what was right. A small and simple gesture, but making such a different to those little guys. Thank you for your kindness for something so easily overlooked! 😊❤
He's just one man and look what a huge difference he's making. Imagine if there were 10 of him or 100 or 1000 or more! We CAN change the world for the best.
Thankyou so much ❤ Hat's off!!!
This beautiful man is amazing
this is one of the most beautiful, heartwarming and wholesome things I have ever seen
Bless this kind man for helping the poor little crabs find a better home.🦀🐚🧡
you’re so right we need to work together and protect nature❤
This man is a true hero!
Big thank you to this kind man.
Thank you! This is so considerate and kind. I love these crabs and all the animals and feel sorry for them that we humans trashed up this world. Poor animals!
This is one of the most heart-warming videos I've seen recently. This man's heart of gold brought tears to my eyes. He's an incredible example of a human being.
Shawn you are a LEGEND!
You don't need a cape to be a hero, just look around, see where you can help and take appropriate action.
As a Cancer with a deep understanding of how precious home is to a crab, thank you, thank you ,thank you!. Every small kindness helps balance the scales. Much ❤️ love.
What a great guy, and everyone who helps him. Poor hermies. I have a pet snail that came in on farmer's market greens. He was as small as a shelled pistachio nut. But now, Squirt is a big boy. I care about him, and his habitat, and he brings me joy and calm. He's so lucky his camper shell grows with him. All the best to the hermies.
"respect and reconnect with nature". If everyone would do that there would be less anger in the world. Thank you for taking care of these sweet, little crabs, what a beautiful kindness ❤🧡
Bless you for protecting these little animals and giving them a new home. ❤
duuuuude!!!!!!omg, that was so insightful and kind of you...i am sure that if we could hear the crabs -we would hear them cheering from joy!they were so excited and happy about their new homes!i thank you in their name
This guys do the best for the crabs. His passion was so great
I never thought of this. What an important message, thank you for this beautiful and important work you do! ❤
What an incredible way to show one caring person really can make a difference. Imagine if all of us did the same, how much better the world would be...
Amen ❤
What an amazing guy! God bless you , Sir for all your love and kindness. I didn’t know it, but now that I do, I will never get another shell from a beach! 🙏❤️
Incredible!! You really do learn something new everyday. I had no idea this shell issue was even a thing. What a wholesome story to learn that this gentleman is playing his part in conserving these little creatures. Bless your heart, mister ❤
Gotta give the Hermit Crabs credit for being resourceful.
Fantastic job Shawn... All of us should realise the importance of protecting mother nature in our own small ways possible... People like Shawn are an excellent example for the same 🙏👏
People are just AMAZING. In this busy world some one out there doing unnoticeable act of kindness. Thanks.
Thank You SOOO Much for Helping these adorable lil' guys!
The Kratt brothers will be so proud of what you did for animals like this guy!
