The baby jumping around at the end was so cute😂🥺
That is a ghost.
I never realized baby octopus were so stinkin cute!
Ikr...we're all octopus aunties and uncles. I'll babysit!
Fr it was cute and funny
So cuteee❤❤
It is never a bad thing to show consideration and compassion to other living things.
🐙💙🐠
Even the things we eat/consume. Just because we are carnivorous, doesn't mean we have to lack compassion/respect for the things we eat. Life is precious and miraculous, providing us with what we need to survive and endless things we don't yet understand.
@@scruffygaming627 very true, the fact that we eat other animals does not mean that we should eat ALL animals, the most ideal option is to take as much as you need but make sure that it does not cause irreparable harm
can you send this message to Keir starmer??
Octopus are so intelligent and docile that we should all do our best to help them thrive.
This lady is absolutely beautiful inside and out…
Please dont, if we start feeding them while they take care of their babies they will pass down knowledge to the next gen and then humanity is fcked, they will start cookin and build submarines
Thank you for caring.u are a beautiful soul.we need more people in our world like u.xxxxx
🐙💙🐠
Docile? Most octopus species are cannibals.
SHOULD NEVERRR INTERREFER WIT WILF LIFE LIKE THISD
This wonderful woman did the right thing!! This Octopus needed help and she made it happy!! She saved not only her life, but the lives of her babies!! Thank You!!❤
Vegans are so awesome.
@planetvegan7843 That they are!! I'm glad this kind-hearted woman did what she did!! I would have did the same thing!!
@@planetvegan7843 where/when did it say she was vegan? Assume much?!
Reminds of My Octopus Teacher on Netflix
...she saved the babies basically. The mother dies anyways.
My Octopus Teacher was such a great documentary. These little cephalopods are absolutely amazing.
Yes,l’ve watched it twice and cried my eyes out both times.Sheer beauty!l loved the way it started with the octopus covered in shells!l’m glad l don’t eat them.I couldn’t.
Incredible documentary!
Heartwarming true story that demonstrated the supreme intelligence of these amazing animals who also snack fish when they’re bored! lol
I’m heartsick that Spain has started a horrible octopus farm in the Canary Islands restaur 3:30 octopus and Spain has started an inhuma
That guy spent an hour telling us how he fell in love with that octopus, but did nothing to help it from danger TWICE.
I agree I absolutely loved that program! It made me cry too!
I adore octopus. They have been declared the most intelligent species on the planet. I truly believe that they are. Thank you for helping her and her babies.
That's what vegans do!
So do omnivores
@@planetvegan7843 f off not just vegans!
@@planetvegan7843 THANK YOU!
@elynedyoung7206
This may be hard to believe, but I think that _humans_ are probably the most intelligent species...as a whole. 😏
Years back I watched a nature show on Octopus - I cried so hard. I watched a mother relentlessly work and risk her life to save her babies. I vowed then that I would NEVER eat octopus and I have not and will not when I know how hard their lives are
and it's so painful that I can't even watch this video. I thank God for this woman. THANK YOU 🤍🙏🏼
Thank you

I would never eat one anyway. They are such smart and amazing creatures.
@@ms.andrea172 Same for me too. It should be against the law
I love the dedication of octopus mothers. I really wish that some humans would display even a fraction of their love for their children.
Are you serious? Women go through hell to procreate. It is painful, long arduous process. Then most of us give our bodies over to nursing our babies with sore, bruised and cracked ripples, engorged heavy and painful, for months to years. To say that women don't dedicate themselves to their babies is utter nonsense. Humans are over 8 billion strong. Each and every one of those 8 billion humans got here through a woman's body. Don't forget it. I am shocked that a "psychology major" would say such a terrible thing about human beings. It's absolutely untrue. You have no case to be made when humans fill every nook and cranny of the land on earth, and it is 100% due to the dedication of human mothers.
Apparently if they touch you skin on your hand apparently they never forget you😮how amazing imagine finding her again like that what are the chances😊❤️
Yes,they have hundreds of sensors on their arms.
Yep!
Octopi are amazing animals and very friendly with humans. They dont live very long though and that is a shame. You can be sure she did recognize you. Kudos for helping her.
@davidgreg6907 don't engage with the spam bot
As weird as it sounds, octopuses is the correct plural form btw, not octopi
@@oftheHowl thanks for the correction.
The Dodo stories have saved my faith in humanity! Bless each person who has saved any living being in need! I pray you will always be blessed with health & happiness, peace & prosperity! Karma is coming for those who torture, neglect, injure or abandon any living creature!❤😢
3:13 That lil octo bouncing up and down :3
♥️♥️♥️ Octopus ♥️♥️♥️
Bless this woman for helping her; the world would be a much nicer place if more people were like her.
More people ARE like her. It’s the bad ones that get all the press. Humans are infinitely better than animals. Remember many animals eat other animals including their babies. 😮
Yes! Everyone be vegan.
Agree. Spain is trying to licence the world’s first octopus farm. Totally inhumane (and not sustainable) to farm carnivores for their meat. There’s a petition floating around somewhere which you can sign to oppose their plans.
Amazing that the right person for the job was there at all the right times
What a lovely story about an octopus mum and her little risotto babies!
Not your everyday story, that's for sure! What an amazing lady!
Without you there, the mother and probably the babies, too, would not have made it! You are a true hero. Wish there were more like you.
Sheree is an extremely kind woman and the world is better because she is in it.
What a stellar human you are! Nature needs all of the help it can get these days, mostly because of the human predator and polluting species! Huge blessings to you for doing your bit! 💕
IT's just a beautiful thing that you did to help that sweet mama. Thank you, and thank you for sharing. Truly heartwarming.
That's a fantastic journey 👏🏽 you're both awesome! Humanity restored ❤
We need more uplifting stories!! I love the intelligence of octopus and their ability to bond with humans.❤
I’m so glad you were there for Casey! She must think of you as a guardian angel 🥹
Omg! This just touched me to my core! I'm recovering from the grief we go thru when we lose one of our fur children 💔 and nothing has been able to reach my heart....until this video! Love so profound there are no words! Special thanks to this beautiful woman for saving this octo mom (and me💖)💝
Sorry for your loss 😔

You helped her complete her last duty before she died. So awesome.
May God bless her and have compassion for her, to get well 🙏..
And all of God's creations!
You're not her human.
You're her guardian angel.
Love how she patiently waving her tentacles on the boat before moving to deeper water. You are awesome! Brava 👏
Wow!!! Beautiful Wonderful!! You are a True Warrior for saving her eggs.
This woman is awesome!!! Thank you for helping that poor octo mommy.
That's absolutely amazing. This lady went above and beyond to take care of that octopus.. it's great absolutely great!
A fantastic person is helping Octopus The Octopus are intelligent creatures
They are special creatures..so intelligent.

Thank you for the update, The Dodo..!! What a nice person helping an octopus in need of help..!!
Compassion and empathy define us as human beings, thank you so much for showing this old Grandma WE STILL EXIST! And for the love of all the babies in the world!!
@davidgreg6907 Hello davidgreg, a friend from Spain, now living in Texas, I live in eastern Washington State, been here since 1962!
"Right we're gonna save her and their not gonna eat this octopus" love this lady
You are such a beautiful soul. To be considerate of her habitat was so impressive. Thank you kindly to helping mom reunite with her babies.
Octopus mama was smart enough to know she needed some help. They're very intelligent creatures. And that woman is awesome!!😅
I've become more intrigued by these creatures as of late. They're just so incredibly intelligent!
This is nature in all of its majesty and with all of its dangers. We are only scratching the surface with our understanding of these beautiful creatures. As a predator, octopus are second to none. With their highly developed intelligence they are able to live in many parts of the worlds oceans. When they live on or near reefs for example, they have the ability to perfectly mimic the colours of the reef. There is also a school of thought that octopuses can communicate with each other with a complex language. As for their physiology, they have 3 hearts which they use when hunting. Once they are resting, they can switch off one heart to conserve energy.
What this wonderful lady has shown in this beautiful clip is the best of humanity ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. Thank you dear lady for sharing this beautiful little clip.
Wonderful, wonderful thing she did. What a great human! 🐙 ♥
These are intelligent sentient beings.
This woman is an angel!
that is Huge Karma my dear. you not only made her feel secure, loved but also became a "grandmother " to so many of her babies !! you were God sent. Bless you with just as happiness as this Octopus is with her babies.
the end with the baby octopus jumping gleefully, and the whole thing, i think i have tears in my eyes
Aww poor mommy octopus! Thank you so much for helping her.
Life is precious and we must recognize value of life. This story proves such awareness of how precious life is.
Extraordinary. Both the mommy octopus and the sweet lady and her friend. Gives me a real boost of inspiration. Thank you.
Outstanding octopus and human both. I've read 2 books on octopus ("The Soul of an Octopus"...can't recall the other). If the books are true, then yes, mama octopus totally remembered you.
cephalopods are my favorite animals in the wild ocean. I am in awe of their beauty and just way they think and act. I would not be shocked if we someday learn to talk to these amazing animals
Thank God for kind humans and beautiful creatures.
See.... this is what the animals need from us! They need our help. They think we are their protectors.
I really despise trapping creatures like this. Thank you so much for saving her and her babies!
Little Baby Cthulhu bouncing around is just so adorable 🐙 So glad and happy and wish this wonderful woman all the best for helping out a creature in need
We're all here the once, 24 hours at a time. What a lovely thing to do!
They can recognize faces, so yes, she knew it was her.
"I am just in awe of octopus" - and I am in awe of you. Beautiful video
Octopuses seem like one of the best sea friends you can make, it really is too bad they are so short lived for how intelligent they are.
Glad to see people like Sheree help other living organisms like Octopus and her babies...
May this world have more people like you Sheree 🙏👏
Wonderful to have the awareness that she needed help, lovely lady
How beautiful and wonderful you are!!! Thank you for helping Casey and her babies.
Octopus are amazing creatures. The Nature documentary ''My Octopus Teacher'' (2020) was a fantastic award winning film.
This is so amazing. A wonderful woman took care of an octopus and her babies. So truly heartwarming.💞
Oh goodness, you made me cry so hard. Thank you so so much for looking after this mom and her babies when most people would just ignore her. You saved her and her babies and for that you are a very special person. God Bless You.
I know octopi are very intelligent creatures but it amazed me that she did recognize that this particular human wasn't a threat as Casey recognized it was the same one who didn't try to capture her but helped her before (twice).
Omg that bouncy white octo baby was gorgeous 😍
Oh my goodness, mama octopus and babies are so cute 🥺❤
Thank you for saving her and her babies ❤
What a lovely lady... oh and the octopus too
Huge brains. I am unable of eating Octopus & Calamari (Squid) anymore since I discovered how Intelligent they are. Good on you for helping her & her babes!
What an angel you are for her. Praise be
I saw a documentary on a woman that had an octopus friend. It fled every diver, but when it saw her it would swim up and latch on. They recognize people. And they're as smart as a 7 year old child. I'd bet she understood the assistance
What a lovely story and what wonderful people. They are intelligent animals and yes I am never going to eat another one
What a beautiful and loving gesture the woman did for this octopus . Those babies were so adorable. She truly has a huge heart and is an amazing human ❤️🎉.
By feeding mom, she saved her life too! They usually eat their own tentacles & the babies eat the mom when they hatch (idk if that's the rt word). I love this story!
More people in the world like this are desperately needed
I want to keep some octopus. They’re such special little creatures. ❤
Look at these dancing ones, isn't it the most beautiful sight ?
Bless this lady and all who helped this mama preserve her babies.
I think octopuses and elephants are just so intelligent and majestic, a true gift to Earth!
I’m giggling and crying happy tears over those teeny tiny bouncy babies 🐙 🐙🐙🐙 🐙🐙🐙🥰
Wow that was amazing. Thank you for taking pictures. What a beautiful ocean creature.
thank you for saving her.
Thanks for helping her
Those baby octopus look like they're straight out of a Disney Pixar movie! 😍
I do believe the octopus did recognize her and IS grateful. And yes she is an octopus who wants to live an octopus’s life. Which means not being a pet.
I LOVE THIS WOMAN! I'm so happy when I see humans go out of their way to help animals in need. That was beautiful. Thank you so much.
She's a hero...
Yes! Octopus recognize human traits, and faces!
That was a beautiful story. She's like their godmother to her children.
What a lovely and clever woman! It took a lot of care and effort for her to make this possible. A miracle she found Casey. I love the octopus. They are very special beings.
I love people like this, what a great addition she is to the world.
Wow. God bless this woman, an octopus angel!🦑
It makes you wonder what mama octopus was thinking. I wonder if she really deemed that lady as "her human?" 🥰
Awesome!!! So beautiful what she has done in favor of our fauna and flora!!! Octopus are very beautiful and intelligent 💝💝💝💝
Thank you for helping her. I love your kindness 💜💜💜💜
I have said nearly all my please do not catch eat or harm them they are so intelligent, they remember people that help them please learn to care for any you see ❤❤❤💝
Hats off to perseverance of the mother
I've always had an aversion to eating something that could potentially be smarter than me. Well done, lady! Thank you for your compassion.
It’s nice to see that octopus eating and her eggs hatching!
What an amazing human being, thank you❣️🫶🏻
