That's Right we got the Chevy Silverado Sport Bar or Roll Bar or Bed Bar whichever you want to call it from Chevy. Now, this wasn't in the original plan for our Silverado, but we couldn't pass the deal up. We not only got the sports bar, but it came with the added Baja Designs lights along with some of the needed wiring and the upgraded light switch. Personally I think the Chevy Bar is the best looking on the Market today, However, the Sportsbar with the Baja Designs light is a 2 thousand dollar upgrade for your Silverado. Which is pretty crazy. I didn't pay that to be clear!! However, I do like and we will be doing the wiring install at a later date. We also have the Nudge Bar that matches.

@@WrenchedOutGarage ok cool lol I got a 2017 Chevy Colorado but I got my bar with lights 2nd hand and they dont make the factory harness anymore I just got the wire that hangs I side the bar
@@tarallo232 i just bought the harness for the silverado. Call your dealer and tell them you need the install kit.

Can you still use the tonneau cover with this bar?
Yes,
I switch mine over to the under rail mount version made by Chevy. The only issue is at the rear bar. You have to pull it at an angle to open it.

I'm guessing if I have the BAK roll up tonneau, it will no longer fit once the bar is in place?
I doubt it, even the one that’s made for sits super tight against it and it’s also a under rail mount.
Mine says Sierra instead of Silverado... do you know if I can change the plate to Silverado? And if so where can I find one?

You would have to see if the dealer sells a replacement or find a truck with one on it that wants to swap.

I still have to edit the wiring on this thing. My wiring was a bit messy when I got it but more our less you run the third brake light connection under the underhood fuse box and the main switch replacement is really just adding connections. I’ll work on that video soon. I got it all wired up though and it’s pretty sweet man. The same Illumination with the switch and the console has its own light as well.
What is the part numbers for the complete wire harness for the sport bar?
So I just bought one off of someone but they didn’t have any of the bolts or clamps where would it be a good place to get them?
The sports bar pieces I would suggest going to your local Chevy dealer ?
Another question with your nudge bar on the driver side that bolt that you couldn’t get off is the only way to get it off to cut it off?
You can take apart the whole front bumper and brackets if you don’t want cut the bolt. I highly suggest just cutting it.

Try and order the roll up bed cover that’s built for it through your Chevy dealer
Wrenched Out Garage I heard the soft cover beds the water leaks when it rains and hard cover has a better Chance of no rain so do u know a hard cover that would work I have a 2019 trail boss crew cab bed is 5 feet 8 inches thanks

Jacob Simerman no modification needed for installation just the wiring for it to light up

SPORT BAR not SPORTS BAR. there is no "s" at the end of sport.
