Used this as weve just bought a house and the owners didnt do as good a job of cleaning the oven as I'd like. We kept our old one clean with oven liners and diligent wipe downs, so this was my first time cleaning an actually dirty oven and I knew this was supposed to be the strong stuff by the warning labels on the box so checked up your review. Sold me on it! Purchased two bottles instead of just one so I could use a whole bottle on the racks and tray instead of just half a bottle (wasnt convinced it would be enough). My oven is now sparkling and i have some spare solution should i need it down the line. Thanks!
Also a tip - apply cling film to the solution on the walls and base to stop it sliding down too much as well as stop it drying out too. I did that - worked a treat.

Lovely video, very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Just one tip: if you get Oven Pride on your skin, try using some vinegar (any type), and apply the vinegar to your skin. It should neutralise the Oven Pride (which has caustic sodium hydroxide as one if its main ingredients). Stay safe 😊

great video...i've used this product, cleans really well. One tip to make life easier and less messy indoors, is to clean the racks outside in the garden using a hose pipe rather than trying to manoeuvre them around the kitchen sink

I used the pink stuff, it isn't as strong a cleaner as this over pride stuff. Pink stuff is great to tackle everyday grease and grout, but baked on black gunk don't come off easy and pink stuff struggles, also don't use pink stuff on plastic, it fades the colour. Now this oven pride is awesome, way stronger chemical solution, does a proper job to a professional level on ovens. On top of oven pride, I use the pink stuff and a scraper to clean the glass on the oven, came out like new again. You were right, this stuff is so strong it stinged my arm haha! Good job though really nice cleaning done. BTW, I picked up mine from ASDA for £3 only, also available for same price in Wilko.

Yes it's a great product I usually do my racks and take rails off oven pour some into bag and I put my grill pan in as well and pour the reminder into it, seal it and put it in my spare sink in garage lie it flat he did it wrong standing the racks up. All the product was all at the bottom of the bag lol. Leave it a few hours and turn the bag over so the product spreads over everything I usually do this for 2 days it's amazing the pans like brand new no scrubbing at all do wear the gloves provided. Glass door "Elbow Grease "all purpose degreaser smells lemony is brilliant on you stainless steel as well and your hob and it's cheap about a £1.

Like any dirty job, wearing just gloves won’t stop splashes! Long sleeves and trousers (or coveralls), plus a well-ventilated room all help you do the job, and the job doesn’t do you. If your using a wet process like the rinsing with soapy water, then turn the cooker power OFF and dry the wet areas before putting it back ON. Don’t use just air drying or using the oven fan as it means there’s still soapy or cleaner fluid wetness to be dried onto the surface again. I enjoyed your ease of use the cleaner kit, cutting the corner (literally) would’ve spouted the dirty fluid directly down the plughole and not all over the sink base; yet another job after binning all the waste.

You're supposed to cover your arms when using this product as it has a lot of harsh chemicals, that's why it's stinging your arms.
Personally, for all the faff it involves, I don't think it was that amazing.
