Hi I have just recently brought one of the elbow grease oven kit from B and Ms for £1-99. I Haven't used it yet but after seeing how it cleaned your oven in a few hours I but think I might have to leaving my overnight to stand a chance for getting that clean. Thank you for showing the real you in all your videos and this one especially as you make it ok to be behind in your housework/cleaning, sometimes even giving us the get up and go we need. I use the pink stuff and one of those steel scourer things for the glass door and it takes less than 5 minutes. Also works on the racks. Saves some time. What your using works well too xx

I'm 46 and my mom always used brillos, I swear buy them. My oven I use Mr muscle spray leave it for a bit then get the brillo on it,works a treat hun xx
I've used the Oven Bright one (orange and blue box) for years and it's absolutely amazing 😍 we just use a scoop of cheapo actual washing machine powder to clean pans and glass dishes and it always works a treat! Also, scrunched up tin foil with some of the pink stuff paste works wonders to clear oven top and oven door build up. Man, I remember the days of swapping Pogs, not cleaning tips 😂😂

My oven was once like yours years ago then i started using elbow gease couldnt believe what it done. I now clean My oven every 4 weeks using the elbow gease. I have the spray and fairy up liquid in it aswell, wouldnt be without them.

The oven looks brand new now, i bought oven liners for the bottom of the oven, they are great, catch all the mess, and easy to clean, only a couple of pounds out of Aldi, but I've also seen them in home bargains and savers, I've read some people have soaked Pyrex dishes in the oven bag's, and it brings them up brand new,

Koh cleaner is amazing and lasts ages and no nasties in it for the environment and your chest .Took me 20 minutes top to bottom with the black diamond sponges you get with it ,piece of cake ,xx👍
Elbow grease is fab I use it to but Koh is fab n quick ,epic on glass to . When it arrives its like a box of wine with a tap on it ,the spray bottle ,cloths n diamond sponges come all included to !xx

You done such a great job, top tip tho always have a tub of pink stuff in your cupboard that’s amazing for every job. I’m currently pregnant with my 12th child and my house has got a bit out of hand but I’ve got terrible sickness and tiredness I simply can’t keep on top of it all the time and that’s ok 👍🏼. I sooooo need to do my oven to 🤢, yours came up a treat! Best thing I’ve found for the top of my cooker is Barkeepers Friend powder, my hubby scratched the crap out of the top of my oven with a new wok, rubbed some Barkeepers in it with some water to a paste and came up like new again. ❤️❤️❤️

That oven cleaner stuff is really good.. It's a pain in the ass to do and gotta use old towels so it doesn't go all over the floor but the result is well satisfying 👍 Good job x

That turned out amazing. I always start mine with oven pride then get bored of waiting for them to soak and pull them out too soon and then get bored of cleaning it all so it never looks shiny new when I’m done 🙈 Also homebargains did these silicone oven liners I got some and they’re amazing catches all grease stops bottom of oven getting grim and you just clean the liner then.
Hey Faye x i ve had a oven cleaning pack in my cupboard since b4 last xmas, youve given me inspiration now to use it, whenever ive cooked something in my oven, the smoke alarm goes of when i open oven door lol, i used the pink stuff cleaning paste on pirex dishes, cover them with the paste and leave 24 hrs and it works great, i bet you feel great now youve done yer oven, am gonna give mine a go tomorrow, take care love ya and sending love xxx
Just a couple of tips to make it an easier job next time. Coat the sides and roof of the oven in the acid cleaner as well as the bottom. Leave over night and absolutely no scrubbing needed. You just need a few old cloths and a bowl of warm water to rinse it all off. Also, pull your cooker knobs off and soak in soapy hot water, much easier than a tooth brush tbh I love these cleaners with the bag for the racks and shelves, makes life much easier x
I've recently purchased Brillo pads, remember my mum having them when I was little. My pyrex dishes were bad, but they did the job. Got spend time scrubbing but they come clean. The oven in my next job. Great video, well done xx

What I usually do is lay down some foil at the bottom of it..so if the food does fall you can easily replace the foil. But it looks incredible!! Life happens ❤️ xxxx

I'm disabled and literally CANNOT reach the back of my oven. So when we had our kitchen remodelled we spent extra cash on a self cleaning oven. It basically turns all the grime into powder/dust and it just wipes out... Fantastic right?? HUGE MISTAKE!! We used it once, it was genius... So just before Christmas I decided to use it again as the kitchen was going to be working very hard for a month. I was in the house alone when I heard a BOOM from the kitchen. I grew up in farming area and the sound was like a shotgun in the kitchen. The oven door had completely SHATTERED! Red hot glass was everywhere! Ilthe kitchen needed a deep clean, any foods that were out was contaminated. The wooden cupboard doors had burn marks in the finish. I am just thankful that no one was in the kitchen when it exploded. But it took Hotpoint TWO MONTHS, to replace the door. So December to February I had NO OVEN!! Eventually they had it sorted, but I was afraid to use that feature again, but we had fecking paid extra for it! So months later my husband was pissed off because we'd paid for this so he put it on to clean again. We were both in the lounge when BOOM, my husband was like WTF, and I burst into tears and said the door exploded again! I was right! Hotpoint replaced the oven, they had to replace our unit doors and where the glass burned the counters, the window frame, backdoor had burns (they had to replace all of this the first time too) but this time hot glass even embedded in the kitchen roll and it set on fire!!! So now they replaced the oven but I am terrified and daren't use the self clean feature. Despit having paid extra for an oven my poor hubby wouldn't have to clean (he works full tim and cares for me) we have to scrub the effing thing anyway. So I would NOT encourage anyone get a self cleaning oven. If you have one ensure NO-ONE goes in the kitchen when it's running! I am just glad my cats were with us when it exploded, or they'd have been hit with red hot glass.

Well done Faye, good job! Try putting a removable, washable flexible liner on the bottom of the oven to catch the food spills etc. I got mine in Aldi but sure they have them in Home Bargains, B&M etc, only about £2

oven looks great hun , i hate doing ovens , but after tea every night i use astonish , hob cleaner , its brilliant looks like a new hob every time , and only takes 5 mins
Tip I saw on telly but it was for pans but should work on pyrex dishes....... Get a storage tub half fill with water put in a couple of denture tablets place your dishes in and leave for around an hour and they should come out clean and sparkly you could put more than 2 in but your choice x

I cleans one side of my side by side oven . I couldn't be arsed to do both. I lied to myself saying I'll do the other side tomorrow knowing full well I wouldn't lol. 3 months later still not finished. My oven trays are vile I need new ones . You should buy the slow cooker liners. They do them in Poundland. You literally just lift the bag straight out and bin it, no cleaning needed!

That turned out amazing. I always start mine with oven pride then get bored of waiting for them to soak and pull them out too soon and then get bored of cleaning it all so it never looks shiny new when I’m done 🙈
Also homebargains did these silicone oven liners I got some and they’re amazing catches all grease stops bottom of oven getting grim and you just clean the liner then.

Hey Faye x i ve had a oven cleaning pack in my cupboard since b4 last xmas, youve given me inspiration now to use it, whenever ive cooked something in my oven, the smoke alarm goes of when i open oven door lol, i used the pink stuff cleaning paste on pirex dishes, cover them with the paste and leave 24 hrs and it works great, i bet you feel great now youve done yer oven, am gonna give mine a go tomorrow, take care love ya and sending love xxx
Just a couple of tips to make it an easier job next time. Coat the sides and roof of the oven in the acid cleaner as well as the bottom. Leave over night and absolutely no scrubbing needed. You just need a few old cloths and a bowl of warm water to rinse it all off. Also, pull your cooker knobs off and soak in soapy hot water, much easier than a tooth brush tbh I love these cleaners with the bag for the racks and shelves, makes life much easier x
I've recently purchased Brillo pads, remember my mum having them when I was little. My pyrex dishes were bad, but they did the job. Got spend time scrubbing but they come clean. The oven in my next job. Great video, well done xx

What I usually do is lay down some foil at the bottom of it..so if the food does fall you can easily replace the foil. But it looks incredible!! Life happens ❤️ xxxx
Thanks for this, didn't know about the dishwasher tablets! The bags are great for the shelves. Another Home Bargains one to consider is Dr.Beckmann oven cleaner at £1.99 - it's in a spray bottle and lasts for ages!

I've bought a oven liner that sits on the bottom of the oven to catch any that falls. Quid on ebay
Great video you did a fab job on your oven, I use an oven liner I got it from Aldi & you can rinse them if you get a spillage xx
I've used that stuff it's brilliant isn't it and Faye my oven is just the same the cooker is the last thing you think of cleaning ..I did mine few months ago ..so it's good for another year 😂 xx

I'm disabled and literally CANNOT reach the back of my oven. So when we had our kitchen remodelled we spent extra cash on a self cleaning oven.
It basically turns all the grime into powder/dust and it just wipes out... Fantastic right??
HUGE MISTAKE!!
We used it once, it was genius...
So just before Christmas I decided to use it again as the kitchen was going to be working very hard for a month.
I was in the house alone when I heard a BOOM from the kitchen. I grew up in farming area and the sound was like a shotgun in the kitchen.
The oven door had completely SHATTERED!
Red hot glass was everywhere! Ilthe kitchen needed a deep clean, any foods that were out was contaminated. The wooden cupboard doors had burn marks in the finish.
I am just thankful that no one was in the kitchen when it exploded.
But it took Hotpoint TWO MONTHS, to replace the door. So December to February I had NO OVEN!!
Eventually they had it sorted, but I was afraid to use that feature again, but we had fecking paid extra for it!
So months later my husband was pissed off because we'd paid for this so he put it on to clean again.
We were both in the lounge when BOOM, my husband was like WTF, and I burst into tears and said the door exploded again!
I was right!
Hotpoint replaced the oven, they had to replace our unit doors and where the glass burned the counters, the window frame, backdoor had burns (they had to replace all of this the first time too)
but this time hot glass even embedded in the kitchen roll and it set on fire!!!
So now they replaced the oven but I am terrified and daren't use the self clean feature.
Despit having paid extra for an oven my poor hubby wouldn't have to clean (he works full tim and cares for me) we have to scrub the effing thing anyway.
So I would NOT encourage anyone get a self cleaning oven. If you have one ensure NO-ONE goes in the kitchen when it's running! I am just glad my cats were with us when it exploded, or they'd have been hit with red hot glass.

Well done Faye, good job! Try putting a removable, washable flexible liner on the bottom of the oven to catch the food spills etc. I got mine in Aldi but sure they have them in Home Bargains, B&M etc, only about £2
I agree - the oven liners are amazing. Just take them out and wipe them down. Saves the bottom of the oven from getting all grungy.

Tip I saw on telly but it was for pans but should work on pyrex dishes....... Get a storage tub half fill with water put in a couple of denture tablets place your dishes in and leave for around an hour and they should come out clean and sparkly you could put more than 2 in but your choice x
I do all my cups with denture tabs best thing to clean anything and smells minty fresh 🤣🤣

I cleans one side of my side by side oven . I couldn't be arsed to do both. I lied to myself saying I'll do the other side tomorrow knowing full well I wouldn't lol. 3 months later still not finished. My oven trays are vile I need new ones . I use elbow grease its much cheaper than other brands Love the video as usual. Xxx
