Oven Pride Deep Cleaner: Does It Work?

- In the past few months we have been doing a lot of cooking, and we have not been looking after our oven very well. As a result, it has become rather dirty and in this video I test out an oven cleaning product by Oven Pride to test whether it works or not. I follow each step that it says on the box, showing you how to do it correctly according to manufacturers instructions.
The product also may damage clothes and so you should wear old clothing. Watch until the end to see the results. This product does contain some extremely dangerous and harmful chemicals and so you should always take care when using it and follow the manufacturers instructions and guidelines. It's recommended that you use safety equipment and so I will recommend some below.

I’ve seen loads of people use it on the glass it cleans it lovely, I’ll be putting it on my glass when I clean mine

@@CarvedCulture I’ve read the Elbow grease oven cleaner can be used on glass doors so I’ll probably use that instead, Although it does have the same ingredients as the oven pride so 🤷♀️, very baffling why it can’t be used on glass & the elbow grease can
I love this stuff, I leave it over night and find that inside my over it removes anything, obviously with real bad bits you still have to use a brillo pad and put abit work in, good video

Given the state of your oven to begin with, it did work! What you need to do, is do it again, it will fetch the rest of it off. Then, keep doing it every three months or so...

I find this stuff amazing. I'm baffled how people have so much shit on the bottom of their oven. Do you not use trays when cooking??.
For the racks, flip the bag every few hours to make sure everything is coated. Use trays or an oven liner to prevent all that shit on the bottom of your oven. It is not recommended to use on the glass/door because it can destroy the seals around the glass. Get some jcloths, soak in hot water and vinegar, place them on the door for a 20-30 minutes and then use a glass scrapper to remove the gunk.
Hi there, Thanks for the great tips! Using trays or oven liners to keep the oven clean, flipping the cleaning bag for even coating, and your method for cleaning the glass door are all smart suggestions.
Your oven was in a disgusting state to start with. What do you expect ? Suggest you do a second run. Once you have it up to scratch. try and keep it in good condition and don't let it get into such a state.
It was in a disgusting state, you're right! I was hoping it would be shiny clean like the product packaging shows but it wasn't quite accurate! The product was alright but not good for dirty ovens 😅

My oven was like yours, and it came up alright. It didn’t look like you put much solution in the oven, in the video.
I put half of the solution in the bag, and the other half in the oven. You have to gently mix it in, and make sure you rub the bottle of solution, into the sides of the oven.
I even rubbed some of it on the glass door…even though it says not to. My door was like yours though, and now it’s much cleaner, so I’m glad I did. I left mine overnight for like 9 hours, after I had a lay in 🤣

I’m hoping it’s not too late…but just be careful putting on the glass and door. My glass went a bit funny looking, soon after, in the way that it left marks/bubbles on the door. So yeah…I won’t clean the door with it next time ❤️

For my oven it works likea majec.. become like new oven . I wish to send a picture. I have been using this for more than 10 years. It is the best one ever honestly.

You should use a paintbrush on the rack to make sure it`s completely covered, it would come out like new!

Are the fumes strong or is it only the fishy smell? Use. Brillo pad in your oven. It will not damage if you take your time.
To be honest it is more of a fishy smell than anything and yes a brillo pad would have been good.
