- DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME! Our cozy coupe little tikes car go kart gets a flamethrower! This Honda 550cc Little Tikes car was already insane- this go kart is fast, great sounding project, but now we take it to the next level with an exhaust flamethrower! Using a second ignition system and a richer fuel mixture, our go kart shoots flames out of the exhaust. In this episode, we install the system, roast some marshmallows, announce some upcoming events, lose a wheel, and of course... shoot flames!

I started my first shifter kart project last summer, at the age of 13, Bc of y’all, it’s has a Yamaha R3 motor on it, 320cc, efi, and around 40hp. Thank y’all for the motivation and knowledge

I've been a weekly viewer for 6+ years, and I definitely miss the 2nd video, but it was just a bonus I enjoyed, not an issue. I can't think of anyone else that does more than 1 video a week. As long as the content quality stays the same, I don't think you'll see any complaints. If I start to see a lot of little projects with not much progress but in a longer format video, that might start ringing a bell though.
I have a story that you guys probably don't expect, sometime back I had an accident, and am now disabled, I am not a long time follower of the channel, but as of right now y'all are my guardian Angels, watching your channel has given me a reason to feel alive again, being disabled started sinking me into a Great depression, it wasn't good, I was feeling worthless and some what suicidal, y'alls channel cars and cameras has inspired me to do something again I started building ratrod go karts again, something I used to enjoy some years back, being on SSI disability I am unable to support your channel financially but my God you guys are awesome, keep up the good work, and I will keep watching, love you guys, and thanks for giving me my life back

They used to just run a wire down to a spark plug drilled into your exhaust pipe. When the unburnt fuel passed right there 'POW'!
Love ur guys content u guys got me started on go-karts and mini bike I have even made my own home made go kart trike from a Murray explorer go-kart frame and a Baja warrior minibike front end with a Honda gx 200 motor
I built my own home Brew flamethrower system using a bunch of relays and some coils and spark plugs. The relays turn themselves on and off at a rapid pace to keep the spark constant and blue. I then inject propane into the exhaust ahead of the spark plug so I'm not having to run the choke and push extra fuel into the cylinders. Shoots really cool flames. This is awesome project keep it up guys
How did you get those relays to work? I'm making something similar myself but I need something to turn the spark on and off.

Absolutely I encourage anyone and everyone to build exactly what they dream of but to be clear we’re talking minibike style frame in minibike style engine big block or small block doesn’t matter

Back in the 70's, we used the ford vibrating coil hooked to a relay
My favorite part had to be the flamethrower starting the fire on accident but was definitely a good thing for the video with the fire crackling in the background.

Just mount an old-school coil and run 12v to it and the other side to the spark plug(s) that are in the exhaust, boom 🔥
You still need a trigger signal to it, like off a set of points.

Mini mayhem sounds like great fun, wish I could make it along with buying merchandise but I live on $161.28 a month. But the main reason I'm messaging you is to ask about the Opel GT which I would love to have as I had one back in the 70's an it was great to dive but never got the chance to do a resto mod on it. 5.0 w/ a C4, neared rear an tubed an make it a sleeper. Did that before with 2 separate Chevy corvair's, a 64 W/ a 302 SBC an a 67 w/ a 327 turbo 350. God I had fun on Saturday night's at Gainesville raceway

Heck yeah!!! I had such a blast at the fall Mini Mayhem event. I’ll be there for this one too! I got all the parts to upgrade my Baja Warrior 200, and I just started making a parts list for the cool project I want to bring. Hopefully it’s done in time!

The flamethrower tailpipe has been around since racing started and never ceases to amaze people . Next time go old school and use old Ford buzz coils , no computer tech necessary and put the plug closer to the end of the pipe fore better air now run it rich .

On your ignition for the flamethrower you could have just tapped into one of the power wires from your alternator stator before the reg/rect. These power wires at this point are AC voltage. Plenty to trigger a coil.

Man I haven't seen Taylor in a video in a long time! Didn't he have a diesel Mercedes he was working on when ike got his? The tot rod has definitely been my fav build!
Boys, use an auxiliary fuel pump to pump extra fuel into the exhaust tubes so you have flames even when the engine revs up. Use a switch on the dash to turn the pump on and off.
Putting lights that's cool n it looks cool
Seems like a good time (when its not raining) to get all the projects out for a spin around the property to blow out the cobwebs and get some ideas for upgrades or think on what could be added to the current lineup as a new project. I'd still like to see a new 4x4 iteration, or another project with a "magic box" 90 degree gear box on it like that big block bike you guys did. Those were both very innovative projects!
I used the same truck bed led lights for better lighting in the cab of my truck. Really easy and bright 👍🔆

I had a couple cars with flamethrowers back in the 70's/80's but used propane in the exhaust, you could have a little blue flame at idle but shoot flames when you rev'ed the engine depending on how you cranked the propane valve
You can put frosted translucent plastic film over LEDs to prevent LED hot spots. To diffuse the light.
Loving that flame thrower, not sure I'd eat marshmallows cooked in exhaust fumes.

I got a kt196 go kart with the predator 212 me and my dad removed he governor and put a stage 3 kit on it with a few other modifications it shoots flames but not that much lol that's pretty sick tho 👍
Do a mini lightbar with the left over strips to show off the engine and the second strip aimed down to illuminate the top like Charles was thinking 🧠
