- Check out your very first look at the new Open-World Mech RPG game 'Phantom Galaxies' coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC which has you fight an extremely dangerous alien foe, with other online players. The game looks really great, with different mechs, characters and space ship to choose from, but has a feature that could either ruin it, or make it even better? It's about monetization.

Just want a solid mech game as an armor core fan. But throwing in NFTs kinda makes me worried. I just want my games to be games.
As a mecha and Transformers fans, I appreciate seeing this. I just like big robots/mechs fighting
NFT means no Steam release, NFT also means people will make it their job to hunt for unique & rare items for profit(actual money), making the game their job, lets hope it's all fashion and not the best gun or something.
"Wow this game looks cool"
Always wondered why there wasn't a really popular mech game... imagine a mech game with planetside like maps
It looked like a next gen strike suit zero. Until they mentioned nfts. Lol
I recommend "Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2/ Code Fairy" for your big mech fix. Seriously though, it might be tough to get into but once you get the hang of things it's so very satisfying to dance around an entire enemy team by yourself.
It’s a game that I’m dreamed of happening. The settings seems to be inspired by Macross a little bit
On the one hand, this game looks really tempting.
Still feeling the burn from Anthem. With NFT's on top of that I'll be waiting until the reviews come in before I get excited.
mech game sounds fantastic but the whole NFT thing makes me sus
"Free" >NFTs No such thing, this game is doomed.
As someone who's primary income right now comes from doing commissioned artworks, not a fan of the NFT craze.
Hooray for NFT's further dividing the gaming culture into high class and low class. This is going to be a f***in' nightmare. Hopefully this can still be played normally and solo. Aside from the NFT mechanic, it looks unreal. Definitely something I'd want to play.
As a Titanfall and transformers fan this looks epic
Damn this looks fun, but I wish they just made it a full game and charged 60-70$. I'm guessing whatever numbers they crunched showed that they more money this NFT way.
The Veritech Fighter would be a more apt comparison rather than a Transformer, especially since it gives of some major Macross vibes.
> NFT
Me: This looks amazing!
This is definitely going to flop. I can already feel that they're actually just after a quick cashout with that NFT inclusion in the game since it's the next big trend. Sad because they have something that actually looks like it's worth buying even if it were just a single player game. Instead of focusing on making a good game and selling it for the price it is worth, they're opting to cash out on it early while putting out an incomplete product.
