  • Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! TH-cam's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and personal, in depth look at the thoroughly refreshed, 2015 Toyota Camry XSE.
    MSRP pricing for the Camry, before options, begins at:
    LE: $22,970
    SE: $23,840
    XLE: 26,150 (V6 - $31,370)
    XSE: $26,150 (V6 - $31,370) - Price as shown here ~ $34,000
    During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
    FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of TH-cam!

    Everyone should own a Toyota Camry. There's a reason it's the best-selling car in America. No other mid-size sedan deserves to exist. The Camry is a perfect car.

      Indeed it is. As I mentioned in here last week, I got a 2016 Camry XLE as my big graduation present and I've been loving it. Interior quality is amazing (near Lexus quality), and it drives great too. The audio system is pretty nice sounding too. I got it with the Entune Premium Audio system without the JBL premium audio and it still sounds very nice. HD Radio sounds very impressive with the right sound settings and Bluetooth audio streaming from my iPhone sounds just as good. In terms of the engine, I got it with the standard 4-cylinder engine, but it still performs very well for it being a 4-cylinder.

      Congrats! My mom bought a 2017 Camry XLE 4-cylinder 6 months ago (which I recommended to her) & she loves it very much & I drive a 2015 XSE V6 & it's by far the best car I've ever owned & I'll probably keep it for many many years. It's literally my dream car cause it has everything I've always wanted & more! I still like to stare at it both outside & inside! I have to admit that the 4-cylinder impresses me with it's refinement & performance & it doesn't get loud & buzzy when you step on it. It's by far the best 4-cylinder I've experienced. My car doesn't have the JBL premium audio, but my mom's does (it became standard for 2017). The strange thing is that the Entune Premium Audio system without the JBL is a lot louder & sounds better too, so I'm glad I didn't go for the JBL.

    So many idiots are on here saying negative things about the camry.... Well let me tell you, I test drove a camry xse v6 and wow did it not only feel comfy and quiet but the v6 paired with the six speed felt smooth like butter! This car is quick from its car category and is a modern day reliable super comfy sleeper car. It goes fast for every day driving and has a great interior. The alcantara/sued seat inserts and on the door panels feel like the same material used on the 70k+ Lexus rcf coupe used on the door panels. I say this is the best camry to date and they have really surprised me with this one! The tech, safety, and features are the best bang for your buck! You'll actually enjoy and drive the car instead of the being in the shop like many other so called "German engineering" cars.

    Troll much? Toyota builds the definition of a CAR. Something that you use everyday and RELY on to do its job. It's an appliance, don't make it seem likes it should be anything more. Being sporty is a plus, no car HAS to be sporty. You can let "European" manufacturer's fool you with their "Sportiness", but I guess people aren't smart enough to realize that it comes at a premium, but at the end of the day did you really need it? The money I saved with my Mazda 6 vs a BMW 3Series or the Merc CLA - I can pay for insurance , gas and maintenance for the next 5 years with the money and time I saved. Whose smarter now? Thank you Japan.

    • @IKhanNot
      @IKhanNot 9 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Do you really need nice food? No everyone can live off of KD Mac n' Cheese. Do you need a house? No people can live in trailers. Do you need to work hard? No you can work at McDonald's and earn minimum wage. Why aim high in life when you can aim low as can be and merely exist. If everyone followed that mentality people would have no drive and motivation. Sure nobody needs a German car but they do drive a cut above the rest and really if I worked hard, invested right and want to spend some of my earnings on something nice that I will appreciate I think I have that choice. I love how people seem to think they're better than the rest because they saved a few bucks. If you need to think like that you're already living beyond your means.

    • @number7redking
      @number7redking 9 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Djonkie Bonk Yes ambition is key to success. But my point is about realistic necessity. A bigger house is more beautiful because it has MORE square footage with granite counter tops, mahogany flooring, a huge yard etc. Expensive dishes/meals has imported spices from around the world with delicate meats to go with it. But many cars have 4 tires made from the SAME rubber, aluminum piston engines that use the SAME fuel, brake callipers lined with the SAME steel and a basic steering wheel that carries the SAME function. It is irrelevant to compare cars to OTHER things because car's are pretty much the same. If it's name or brand loyalty you're looking for, then realistically there are TOO many choices. Most (like myself) are contempt with a reliable car that is trouble free. To say "Toyota sucks" is such a fallacy people don't understand what they are saying. And I am proud to be able to know where I can save my money, thank you. And you contradicted your self by saying that because people that save a few bucks think they are better than others; but doesn't having merc/bmw/audi do that too? It's either I get the best car available or something that serves it purpose, no in-between as far as vehicles go. Other things are a different story. I bought a Japanese car because there are far too many other cars that I WANT more than need.

    Gotta love Toyotas. I have a 2011 Highlander myself and love it. I just have the base/LE model, but it just amazes me how the interior quality has grown by many leaps and bounds. While the ride quality is basically the same as the first gen (as it should be), the interior and exterior refinements Toyota did to the 2nd gen Highlander makes it that much better of a car.

    What a beautiful car. Prepossessing representation is prominent and practically bold with Toyota's LED headlamps and attractive styling that is unique in this clustered mid-sized segment. In addition to this styling, Toyota definitely has did a "job well done" considering any other automaker did not ever go the extra mile with a practically redesign that in somewhat way look "all-new" in addition to a new bold grille, front fascia as well as the rear-end, which are all new except the A, B and C -pillars.
    By far with my opinion I actually think the Camry is one of the better looking cars in this segment following Mazda's redesign Mazda-6 and Honda Accord. As aforementioned, this is a clustered segment but Toyota has done enough to gained the likes of thousands who is brand loyal and knows Toyota reliability is quite nearly unrivaled to its competition, respectively. Although Toyota's slogan is "Let's Go Places" but they are definitely going places in terms to their sales with its Camry.

    Everyone is a style critic. If you don't like it just don't consider buying it the appearance is acceptable to me but reliability puts it over the top above all others in Its class yes there are some with a sportier appearance and more horses but customization is always a option if your not cheap or lazy and the car will probably never leave you on the side of the road waiting to be rescued.

    Since I'm graduating from college this weekend, I'm getting a new car as my big present, and a Camry too.
    Only differences being that mine will be the XLE trim and it will be in one of the gray colors, Predawn Gray Mica I believe. I'm so excited to get it since my brother got one when he graduated too and it's really nice.

      Hi SAXMAN. Did you get your car? How do you like it? Did lots of research for lots of hours on the best car of this class. I narrowed it down to the camry and mazda 6. I know lots of people write on these blogs jabbing at the camry. It made me sad, especially when I made up my mind on a 2017 XSE V6. Then I read all these comments all over youtube that make me feel terrible. Truth is, if I bought what all the enthusiasts want, it would give me problems and I'd have years of regret. A comment I read about corollas, is a guy wrote "I bought Toyotas and I always had reliable transportation. If you do this first, you can buy the hot rod down the road when you can afford it." That's true. A mustang looks awesome, but will it last? My current car has a Toyota engine. I ran it for almost twenty years and it never broke down. Wonder how you're doing and hope you can drop me a line.

      Yes, I've got it and I've had it for a few months now. I can say without a doubt in my mind that it's an awesome car. The interior quality for the XLE is top-notch for the class, there's plenty of tech and safety options, and all in all it's a great car to drive. I have the 4-cylinder engine myself, and it still has a good amount of pep despite that. Plus, I think it's a great looking car for this class too. It's been running very smoothly for the few months I've had it.
      In the grand scheme of things, I think you'd be very happy with the Camry, regardless of what trim level you get it in should you decide on getting a Camry over a Mazda 6. If you do decide on a Camry, I highly recommend spending the extra money and going with an XLE or XSE. Either one will give you access to more options like the upgraded Entune audio system with navigation as well as an app suite that integrates with your smartphone, smart key access (which I love), a blind spot monitoring system, and so much more.

      Thanks SAXMAN. This was very helpful. If I get the Camry, it will be an XSE V6. It will be that or the Mazda 6. I just need to know which ones work well in the snow, and which of the two has better reliability for long term use. The Camry is Great. For anyone mocking it because of any lack of V8 muscle car stuff, ask them where their car will be in 15 years. Also, when I was a bit older than you, I got a 97 Prism LSI. I got it one year old with 15K miles. That was eighteen years ago and it still is my primary car. That car has a corolla engine. Thanks for great comments and I'm sure you've read the negative comments on other threads. Sincerely, Paul

      @saxman112 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cool. As to your comment about which one will work well in the snow, I can tell you now that the Camry is only available in front wheel drive. Not the worst thing ever, but at least it's not rear wheel drive which I've heard is horrible in the snow.
      I can attest to how well FWD works in the snow since back in high school, the car I drove was a 2005 Highlander. That car only had FWD, but it handled the snow and ice just fine.
      As for the Mazda 6 though, I don't know off hand if that car offers all wheel drive or not.
      And finally, in terms of reliability, I would definitely give the advantage to Toyota here. I don't know how they do it, but their cars are some of the most reliable cars you can get for your money. From the 2005 Highlander I drove back in high school and the 2011 one I drove in college, to my new 2016 Camry, I haven't had any major problems with a Toyota vehicle.
      With all this in mind, I see this Camry of mine lasting a very long time. Just gotta treat it right and keep up with scheduled maintenance and stuff and it'll be a keeper for years to come.

    I used to want a car that's all exciting and such. Then I got one, and now honestly i just want a car that doesn't break down and gets me there comfortably. Most of my commute is on the freeway so all that "road hugging agility" does me exactly moot.

    The smart key system is standard on V6 models, but part of a convenience package on 4-cylinder models.

    Much better looking than the 2012-14 Camry. I'm going to buy one hopefully in the next year or two before the powertrain warranty expires on my current 2007 Nissan Altima, which is a great car, but has had some problems. My previous car was a 2006 Corolla. I drove it for 5 1/2 years with no problems, but sold it cause it was too small for me. Can't wait to go back to Toyota! I also really want to buy one with the V6. All my cars have been 4-cylinders so far & I've been wanting a V6 forever now! They just sound so much better.

      rnorred1986 I agree, now that I've driven a V6, I don't want to go back to a 4-cyl. I live in a police state where no one really drives because they are all terrified of the highway robber men known as gubermint thugs/cops and I just fly by them in my used Camry. I love the pick up and go.
