    In spite of all the bashing done by "reviewers" the Camry always outsells its competition by miles.

    These Toyota's have drive-trains that last twice the life of the bodies, especially if you live on the northern borders

    The 2015 Camry is really disappointing. Why would anyone buy a new Camry? Just buy a 2nd hand Camry and they're as reliable as a new Camry.

      StealthTechz In JAPAN, it is rare to see people buy new cars. because Japan has huge used car sharing market (car renting service)

      StealthTechz Toyota cars use cheap Chinese metal. And most Toyota cars I've seen are made in Thailand. Yuck.

      StealthTechz Toyota and Nissan cars have been riddled with faulty airbags. Look at the recent massive recalls in the US recently. They're all from Toyota, Honda and Nissan. Dont buy low quality Japanese cars.
      If you want a reliable and affordable car, go with a Korean car like Hyundai or KIA.

      Gianluca Cannavo I agree with this. Toyota cars are no longer as reliable as people used to think. The recent massive recalls due to faulty Takata airbags leaves me worried about Toyota cars.

    The reviewer did not mention some of the biggest selling points for the Toyota Camry. The 4 cylinder is good on gas, uncomplicated DIY friendly for maintenance. The quality factor of the Camry is a major reason people buy them. The reliability of Camrys is a major selling point. Both engines 4 cyl and 6 cyl. with that 6-speed transmission are bulletproof. The steel Toyota uses is of better quality than many other manufacturers use, they don't rust as fast as many marques. Being a hands-on DIY guy, I find Toyota's/Lexus are well-designed and engineered vehicles. Engineers have designed the Camry to be serviceable. For example, a water pump on a Camry is easily serviceable. Compare that to a GM Equinox that will cost you $1000.00 to change a water pump as it is internal.No turbos just a normally aspirated engine and great six-speed transmission. Sure some cars will get a little bit better gas mileage but at what cost to repair?

    You left out an important reason why people buy Toyota Camry's. They don't break! That's kind of a big deal for Toyota owners. We don't want to spend another day of Our Lives in a mechanic shop. I have owned Honda and Nissan but nothing holds up like a Toyota.

      Xenios9 exactly, straight line performance doesn't mean squat in corners, altho overall practicality and aggressive pricing makes Camry's sell like hotcakes. 2016 ND Miata is great if ur racing, not so much if u want to take a road trip with 4 buddies.

    This Yank is totally wrong about the dash and gauges being taken from the previous generation. The gauges are totally different. Also, the SE version is a lot of fun to drive, that's why I traded my 5-series BMW for a new 2013 Camry SE, it is that good. The 2015 is even more sporting. The interior has a major upgrade, and the steering and suspension is quite engaging. The old Yank in this video knows little about sport sedans. Take my European automobile experience, the new Camry SE and XSE are pure sports sedans.

    • @v60polestar88
      @v60polestar88 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you serious. I've rented a SE and there's nothing sports sedan about this car. It's a sporty car, but lets not go crazy and call it a sports sedan.

    • @Tophairybutt
      @Tophairybutt 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bodunx max, you are speaking of the amerikanized version of the Toyota Camry SE, not the version the rest of the world entertains. The yank version is detuned so that amerikans can handle the car.

    • @v60polestar88
      @v60polestar88 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please explain! I googled the euro spec Camry and it still looks like the same grocery hauler. Don't know about the other Yanks but I drive a Volvo Polestar V60 and if I can handle that I can sure ass hell handle a Japanese Buick

    • @Tophairybutt
      @Tophairybutt 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Boondox man. I believe you mean either a Mexican Buick or future Chinese Buick. Buicks were never manufactured in Japan.

    Avoid buying Japanese cars (Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mazda) until they fix their airbag problems.
    If you want a reliable and affordable car, get Hyundai's or Kia's. Just as reliable as Toyotas, and the driving experience on Hyundai's and Kia's is better in my opinion.

    • @NgocThiuDo
      @NgocThiuDo 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ForzaItaliaAzzurri7 Yes, massive recalls are bad for Japanese cars.
      I want to buy 2015 Hyundai Genesis but my country (India) doesn't have it yet

    • @NoToMailOrderBrides
      @NoToMailOrderBrides 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ForzaItaliaAzzurri7 This is why Hyundai and KIA are more popular here in Germany.
      Just as reliable as Toyotas but Hyundai and KIA cars offer superior driving experience and superior suspensions.
