Camry is supposed to be a solid, economical option for the everyday driver, not mid tier car pretending to be a luxury vehicle. Safe to say I’ll be keeping my 2019. Only has 48,000 miles on it.
37k sounds about right after Biden-flation.
Inflation calculator would suggest that US$26,700 in 2019 is equivalent to US$34,000 in 2024.
@@yo2trader539Got mine for 39k with taxes, gap insurance, and 125k extended warranty. Also windshield warranty for 5 years and free door ding repairs. Did feel expensive for a sedan but so far I’m loving it. Perfect daily commuter.
Yep, it is a perfect car on asphalt. They sell very well here in Florida. If we try offroading, it's just a question of whether the shark, the alligator or the snake finds us first.
And here I am just wanting a 1992 camry.
I have a ten year old Accord with the 6 speed manual, so I win!
Until someone totals your ride, insurance doesn't pay replacement and you're back into this sucker car market, having to pay for a bunch of tech trash you never wanted. Drive safe!
@@ultraneightI cringe on that thought. My 02 Honda accord 285k miles and it’s solid as a rock. A tiny accident and insurance will total it 😢
@@stevesmith756NS because it's not worth anything
Tremendous review, Sarah. Given the results, Toyota deserve a lot of success with that design pattern.
I really like the new Toyotas and the emphasis on MPG. They can't make them fast enough though and I'm not paying 15-20 percent over sticker on a Prius
It’d be AWESOME to see a Gazoo Racing edition with wing spoiler, Brembo brakes, Recaro seats and 300HP turbo I-4! 🤩
Yet another great car review, Sarah. My favorite part of your reviews is the bolstering test. Very funny. I also like the braking test, to see how much your hair flies forward. Keep up the great work.
Hands down my favorite review of this car. Well done.
Sarah, happy Women Veterans Day. Thank you for your service. 🙏🏼
I hope sedans make a comeback. Tired of having my view blocked by (empty) "boxes".
oooh..pre-production. We gettin fancy up in here. 😉
Great to see you’re able to test drive some pro production models! 👏🏻
There are some manufacturers not worried about their image. 😉👍🏻
Camry is trying to pull off a Ferrari SF90 look. 😉
Aloha Miss Sarah! Very cool you got to pre-production vehicle to review
"Tuco Salamanca-level tight." You're my kinda person.. I you lived nearby, I'd invite you over to our margarita night. Too funny!.
Sarah and Throttle House remains the best car review channel to be honest . Great job sarah!
Love that yellow pointer.
Bye Bye 3.5 V6. We will miss you. And the sound of that CVT really sux. GR8 review Sarah, of a pretty decent daily...
It really does suck. We've got a 2021 corolla hatcback & its sounding kinda concerningly louder & more whiney at 31k miles. I'm going to change the fluid despite them saying its lifetime because I understand that they are just saying these fluids can go longer to show lower costs of ownership.
@@MarkTrades__60k miles is the recommended time to change the CVT fluid
@@alvinsimba734 according to what? Not toyota
@@MarkTrades__ according to my owners manual. I have a 2020 LE with the 1.8 litre. Yours must be a 2.0 litre engine, you should check in the manual too and it will tell you
Sarah, how far are you from Tuscan? AZ is beautiful! I will be there next week taking my kid back to the U of AZ. Keep up the great work! I love your videos!
Not sure I'm familiar with Tuscan? I do live in Tucson however. lol
We are putting the money down on one tomorrow so this video is perfect timing.
I saw a loaded one in black. Absolutely stunning
“… look at the SIZE of that; that thing’s ENORMOUS…”!
(Well said, well said, indeed) 😮
Crazy how I see these on the road already
It’s already on sale, I get press cars after all the mainstream journalists already had them.
Just make them more affordable.... Couldn't agree more❤.
This is a masterpiece of a car, will be my next Toyota 😊😊 1:18
Totally agree abt sedans. My kids 09 maz6 mostly runs rings around my 15 cx5. Quieter, better handling .
Very nice review Sarah .... It's nice to compare this to my 2023 Corolla Hybrid LE AWD ..... Would of maybe looked into one of these last year but I had to have AWD.
12:40 😂 Best moment ever in a car review? Definitely.
exactly my first thought was going for the flashlight on my phone
We won’t get the updated Camry in the UK. As far as I’m aware, the European countries that will get it are Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
I wouldn't be totally surprised if it also makes it here in Finland cause they brought the current/previous Camry here for the first time since the 90's and it flew off the lots for taxi companies and boomers.
The new Camry will also be available in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
I'm just glad it is not as fast as my 23 XSE V6. I do like the extra MPG of the hybrid, I think I am getting about 23 mpg.
It’s a Camry, not a race car. 7 seconds 0 to 60 is decent.
The hybrid won’t get any better mpg than the V6 at 90 mph that most people drive.
@@angelgjr1999 lol, 7 seconds 0-60 is pathetically slow. It's not about being a race car, it's about driving pleasure & confidence. With a fully loaded car on an uphill on-ramp trying to merge with 80mph traffic, you're going to wish you had more power.
