I have a 1996 camry & I'm very happy with my car, it's one of the last japanese made cars & mine has rare options for an le model. This new camry, 2015, is the nicest & my friend has one. I got to test drive it & I want one! One day that will be, but for now I'm just glad to be a camry owner!

I have a 2004 Camry LE. My dad used it for 6 years before he gave it to my older brother, he used it for 3 years before he gave it to me. i been using it ever sense, works like a charm, and i love it. I'm gonna use it till I have a kid and give this car to him, if there is still Gasoline around by then LOL.

Happy, like myself, I think a lot of folks have been waiting to see this type of video. I am not sure if you are just getting started with auto reviews, but I would like to give you a little feedback.
Let me start by saying you did a great job. You really went over this car from "head to toe." However, I didn't feel like you were reviewing the car, I would say its more providing a "Closer look" which I should mention is very valuable. I am not sure if you were under a time constraint, but I was left wanting more. Perhaps, including items like pricing and a little more in-depth look at items such as features, and a test drive (if you can.) Of course, people won't buy a car based on your experience but there is value in seeing that experience.
Finally, what were your general impressions, did you like it or not. Would you buy it? If yes, why? If no, why? and what would be your alternative. A comparison to other vehicles in its class is extremely helpful. Your opinion does matter to those watching your videos. It provides options and information. We all know a informed buyer is a happy one!
All in all, I am thankful for this video. As I have been scouring the interwebs for something like this, as I am going to be in the market in a few short months and I am looking at this, the Ford Fusion, and the new Lexus IS. I have 7 year old IS250, and this car reminds me of the new one so much. I kinda like the look of this better. Since Toyota makes both the IS and Camry why pay $10-$15k more for essentially the same car.
I look forward to your videos in the future too. I will definitely be subscribing!! Thanks Again.

I'm 18 and I'm into nice luxury cars that's also sporty... I gotta say the Camry is a nice and fun car to drive. I traded in my 2009 Altima and got the SE version and I love it! It's not as fast as the Altima but I fees like I'm in a sports car when you use the pattle shifters or put it on sport mode. Great car never thought I'd own a toyota so they definitely stepped up their game! Only thing I was disappointed was the audio, it's not that loud and the bass isn't all that like my other car but gets the job done.
I can officially say the Camry isn't a moms car anymore I can see young car enthusiasts driving this car too, well done toyota !

I recently purchased a new used 2014 camry se and took it back to toyota to get it serviced and detailed and I have been driving the rental they lend me which is this exact same model a new 2015 x se camry white. At first I thought I didn't like how they look but after having it for a week I don't want to return it back bc I ended up loving it more than mine I purchased. I know looks may fool at first but once you test drive one for a couple days get it as a rental u will fall in love on how this ride picks up speed and all of its capabilities.

I'm from Sweden and here out of the Asian cars, Hyundai and KIA are more popular here because they are specially designed for colder climates.
Camry are not designed for colder climates, so Toyota is very unpopular in most of Northern Europe.
Actually Hyundai-KIA has more market share compared to Toyota in Europe!

Nice video, although, counter to what's stated, Qi wireless charging is not unique to the XSE trim. With the following three EXCEPTIONS, wireless charging is available in all trims and engine choices: SE, LE, and Hybrid LE (per the Camry ebrochure).

    • @HappyRider2011
      @HappyRider2011  9 ปีที่แล้ว

Hector Cepeda Per Toyota eBrochure, the Qi wireless charging is standard XSE & XLE V6 models, optional on the XSE & XLE 4-Cylinder, also optional on the Hybrid SE & XLE, and is NOT available on the LE and SE models.

The tail lights do look like from the Hyundai Sonata and other past Lexus models. In terms of styling, the Camry does have different models for different tastes. The SE and XSE trims are meant for younger buyers, since they tend to complain that the Camry is too plain or boring. That's not the case anymore. The next redesign will be in 2017 with hopefully updated powertrains, interior and exterior, and advanced technologies.

    Hello HappyRider2011
I think Toyota knock this Camry out the park... It looks really aggressive... Wow. Do you know if the Passenger Mirror automatically tilts down when you put the car in reverse. (Like most Acura's do) I was wondering in future videos if can show the instrument cluster with the back lighting/how it would look at night I know shooting in the daytime is difficult but in that case can just tell us about the color of the lights. Also can you tell us what the MSRP is (not necessarily showing us the window sticker as the dealer might not want that displayed) and option package costs if any...
    Thanks, Tim

Great Review! :) Suggestion: Reduction of background noise (but thats a tough one. Yet I think you still did a great job). Anyways.... So the new camry looks great, but... yes there's always a but.... Two things: 1) Why does Toyota have to make the grills so big... yes i know a new styling to try 2) i'm surprised that the fuel economy didn't signifcantly improve... it still stayed at 25mpg city and 30 (w/e) mpg. Move it up 30mpg city... now that will beat Honda Accord in competition).

Never thought I would be in such a disappointment with Toyota! I have always been a fan of Toyota cars, and own them. However this time I had a very bad experience from the Toyota Company and I feel that I had to share my experience!
I walked into the dealer knowing exactly what I wanted to purchase, which was the brand new 2015 Camry XSE. One of my most important concerns about my car is the stereo and speakers. I believe that we spend so much time in our cars and I love to listen to my music while I'm driving so therefore my stereo and speakers needs to have the best quality. While doing my research on the car it explains that this car (Camry XSE 2015) has 10 speakers, so my expectations about my stereo were met, or so I thought. When I walked into the dealer and signed the contract it also stated that the vehicle had 10 speakers. As I drove the car for a couple of a days, I noticed that the speakers were not as loud as I thought/ expected from 10 speakers. So I started examining the car, and noticed that I had only located 8 speakers in the entire car. I took the car to the dealership; they could only locate 8 speakers as well. Five speakers in front, two very small speakers in back and one subwoofer that doesn't work!! Really!! The car has two spaces in the back where it should fit two big speakers, one is filled with a worthless subwoofer and the other space is empty. What kinds of manufacturers design this kind of sound system???? I immediately took the car back but TOYOTA would not do anything to accommodate me for this issue. I called corporate and they did not seem like they wanted to help me either! I paid $5k extra in order to get the premium package, but corporate tries to tell me that since this car is eco-friendly, this is all the quality I will get. They also mentioned that I have to maximize the sound to be able to hear the music, which makes NO sense to me what so ever! If I’m purchasing a new vehicle, and paying a lot of extra money
for it, I would like my expectations from the car to be met ESPECIALLY when the contract states that there must be 10 speakers in the car! I shouldn't have to spend more money to change the speakers of a brand new car, since the Toyota contract is misleading, and I trusted them enough to sign! I'm VERY disappointed with TOYOTA! I'm unhappy with my $35K purchase due to misleading info, and I will NEVER walk into any TOYOTA dealership again. I just though I should share my experience with everyone so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

The one in this video is a 3.5L V6 engine. You can also choose to purchase the 4 cylinder engine which is a 2.5

7/10 for the design........Camry and Accord are family sedans so they shold look like a family sedan.......Toyota stay what you are..thats why your customers are loayal to you.......stop following unreliable koreans or Germans ......quite a few things they could have make them better.......front turn signals are poorly placed and not as easily visible to the eye....it wold have been much better if the just left the DTRL as it is ....and move the turn signals up with the head lamps .......inside the cabin...the charging ports for the gadgets are too congested in a tiny place........and black interior on white paint......dont like combination.....last thing for toyota.......the mopre aggressive look you give..the earlier it starts looking old.......just look at the hyundaie sonata and elantra.....and compare them with your late 90.s and camry models they still have a look....thanx
