Simple and Easy Carrot Cake Recipe || Frau Home Baker

    Ingredients:
    Cake Layers:
    3 medium sized carrots
    200g cake flour
    80g unsalted butter
    150g white sugar
    120g sour cream
    3 large eggs
    2 tsp Vanilla extract
    1.5 tsp baking powder
    .5 tsp baking soda
    .5 tsp salt
    Walnuts
    Frosting and Filling:
    250g cream cheese
    50g butter
    100g icing sugar
    30g whipped cream
    Toppings and side details:
    Grated carrots soaked in sugar syrup
    Roasted walnuts
    Procedure:
    1. Pre heat the oven to 160 degrees celsius
    2. Peel and grate the carrots then set aside.
    3. Chop the walnuts and set aside.
    4. Beat the butter together with the sugar and salt.
    5. Add 3 eggs and mix until smooth.
    6. Add sour cream and vanilla then mix, set aside after.
    7. In a different bowl, sift the flour, baking powder and baking soda altogether.
    8. Combine wet and dry mixture.
    9. Transfer mixture to the baking pans(I'm using 3 of this 5" baking pans).
    10. Bake at 160 degrees preheated oven for 45 mins.
    11. Take out from the oven and cool down on a rack.
    12. Decorate or serve directly.
