That one cleaned up, a bit of alright, Martin. It reminds me of our old, city buses, the way the front glass protrudes. Excellent work, once again.

Awesome job Martin. I have never seen that Corgi before.
Thanks very much.
There's a few about on ebay now and again. Worth getting one if you can. All the best Martin
You’ve got for it’s time a really nice model ,a BMMO midland red C5 motor way coach I think introduced to use the then new M1 in pre Barbara castle days they flew up and down between London and Birmingham,I drove a brand new enviro400 MMC not so long ago between Stanmore and Luton on rail replacement 68 mph in a double decker on the M1 that’s plenty fast 😂😂
All the best mate
Mark 😊😊
Thanks very much Mark, it's good to read about these buses ,it's all good stuff 👍

Thanks Paul it means a lot my friend, all the best Martin
What a lovely transformation. The grey seats are a big improvement. If you ever swap the glass you might want to redo the front number plate as well, unless its a nod to our Australian friends. . .
🤣🤣 number plate is now the right way up ,it's because iam a wally and didn't check it .
Glad you liked it 👍
Great job. I need to get some Biscoffs in my tool box 👍
Cheers Andy. Yep you need to get some ,thay are the best work shop accessories you can get 😀.
All the best Martin

BMMO CM5T!Built at Midland Red's Carlyle works these travelled over 70 mph on the M1,when it first opened. Nice resto,Martin.
Carlyle works they designed the DT class Dennis dart I drove them on the 391/190
Thanks Terry, that's pretty fast for a coach back then .all the best Martin
Smashed that one pal
Thanks Nigel.i appreciate it my friend
Another beautiful restoration, Martin. You’re truly very skilled at this. Strangely, I’ve got a bus on the bench right now too. Started wth a brand new casting (I never saw this Corgi in my search) and I’m turning into what you began with. I’m going for a post-apocalyptic rolling mess. Weird how our hobby takes these different turns! 🍁☕👍
Thanks Andrew, I appreciate it my friend, and I look forward to seeing another exciting and well built futuristic model from your good self ,though iam a bit behind on watching videos, I still have your double casting of the Mercedes to watch .all the best Martin
Hi mate I see your getting BUS-Y get it. 😁 Bus Oh never mind.😝 I love the colour combination and the decals bring it to life. Yet another way of fixing the base on that I have never seen before. I see the old Biscoff biscuits there on the desk, I looked here in Aus to see if they made those Bush biscuits I told you about but NO they stopped making them years ago.😥 Just as well they were a bit hard on the toothy pegs, definitely needed dunking. I hope the barbie went well and the weather turned out ok. It's been brass monkey weather here at night went down to 0 last night Brrrrrr.🥶 Catch you on the next one mate.👍🏻\
Hi Geoff, glad you liked it my friend and don't give up your day job 😀.
The biscoffs are a must for restoring thay have a multitude of uses, apart from dunking.
The barbecue went down a treat and the weather was in our faver .
Keep warm old son .
See you next week
Quite a mixed bag of processes there, with the stickers, decals and two-toning: looks simple enough until you get started, eh? Nice result, though, Martin, and a great candidate for the shelving! Nice one! Great finish on the paint! Grey interior much more convincing, too, I think.
Now, are the Biscoff references a hint? Should we all be sending them?
Thanks Fraser, the interior is definitely better in the grey ,good all round colour.
The biscoffs are a must when restoring and modelling thay have a multitude of uses 😉.
All the best Martin d
Looks fantastic Martin, this is the reason you've never sent me the glass for my bus. What's with the posh accent? "I don't know " 🤣🤣🤣 nice details ,lovely finish
Cheers laz ,yes unfortunately as you can see both windows were damaged and it wasn't worth sending you a damaged one ,when I get one with a good one I will send it ,only the best for you laz
“I can’t right now babe. A new Martin Dares restoration video just dropped.”
🤣🤣 thanks very much, my friend I really appreciate it
Looks fantastic! are we going on a summer holiday?
Yep all aboard 😀 👍
Zebade waits for the bus, where to asks the driver. I,m off to see Florence he said. Not on this bus, we only go to London. All the best from Ian b & family.
🤣🤣 cheers Ian ,glad you liked it 👍
Great job Martin.......Nice......
Thanks very much Brian
Good one...the front number plate is upside down...or is it my eyes...
