    What a box of design delights this car is. From chain cutter to rocket launcher via via atomic flame. Corgi must have spent hours designing it. You brought it back from the brink of destruction to looking great.

    • @PBsRetroRestorations
      @PBsRetroRestorations  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank You. They're all amazing feats of engineering, I've done the Bond Aston and U.N.C.L.E Oldsmobile, and I think the Aston is the trickiest of them to put back together. I'd like to have a go at the Green Hornet car too, but haven't found a suitable i.e. affordable candidate.

    castings like these are genious. genious to invent, genious to put together... you genious, my friend. :D I almost expected you to play the tetris score in the background... of course there would be the danger of everything vanishing when you're done.
    and yeh, of course it's af-ford-able, it's based on a Ford Founderbird... or something. XD
    anyway, looks great, better then new, too. too bad to hear about the ill-fitting aerial and spring, such things are always a nuisance, no matter which scale. (like the door handle for my 94 Opel wagon which was so badly made it couldn't be installed... it was cheap, but still.)

There are ways to clean it, but I'm not the expert at that. Hi Nathan, I use M2 x 5mm Hex Socket Button Screws after tapping the posts with a Metric M2 x 0.4 tap. Another advantage over supergluing rivets in is that the cap screws can be easily removed if you ever feel like doing it again one day.
