Everything was going just as you demonstrated until I got to the dome light. Make sure you use extreme caution when putting the bulb back into the socket. In my attempt to put the bulb back I pushed half of the socket up into the top and shorted out my interior lights. Great video series. Thanks.
Mine also, had to pull the console off and fix the contacts, the bulb sits so far in the reflector it blocks all the light. I painted the inside with silver paint and threw the reflectors away and it is so brute now.
I did the same thing except didn’t short anything out. Took a while to get the socket and the reflector back right. I’m talking hours. Had to use a small pick to bring the contact back down and then reference the other light for the reflector. The reflectors are thin. Just use extreme caution. I feel like this is a rare occurrence but evidently I’m not the only one
Wish I saw this comment before I attempted it myself lol. Did the exact same thing, fixed the connection points and seem to be not shorting the circuit now. Highly recommend listening to this comment.
I replaced my dome and map lights with LEDs. The only problem is now they don't turn on when i open my doors like they used too. They only turn on if I manually turn them on. Any solutions???
Needle nose pliers are your best bet for safely removing the remaining part of the bulb. Alternatively, you can try using a pick with a hook to carefully extract it. Just be cautious when wedging the tool into the housing to avoid causing any further damage.

You talk about replacing the single under the dash light; however, I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've even looked on your website for the bulb. Any ideas?
Nick Parsons Sorry about that. We had it off the site since the bulb is on clearance. Currently we only have a limited color selection, but you can find the bulb here: www.headlightrevolution.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=7010209
got my kit put in yesterday and love the difference! how ever my side view mirrors have puddle lights on them that need to be changed out. I have tried doing some research on bulb size and how to do it, but can't find anything, can you please help?
Normally I would tell you that the Tundra doesn't have any flickering issues, interior or exterior. But since you're reporting this type of thing it's one of three things: One: The bulbs you used are defective. Two: You have a brand new Tundra a couple months off the assembly line, and Toyota changed something. Or Three: your vehicle has a defective alternator or battery causing poor voltage throughout the truck. Please give us more information and we'll try to help.
I just switched out all my interior lights on my 2008 Toyota tundra, I'm using the 168/194/2825 LED light made by Sylvania, they are 6000k and are really bright, I want to know if I should keep using them, or switch to the GTR lighting
Rachel Davi We've found that it is not worth the amount of work and time that it takes to replace these lights. You would have to dismantle your mirrors and do some modifying to get a new bulb in there.
The OEM puddle lights are a sealed housing. You can tilt the mirrors all the way up and get in there with a long flat head to release the clip holding them in. There's a few kits online that plug and snap right in. Definitely worth the time and effort. No dismantleing or modifying required.
WonderingAimlessly The Tundra lights are a little different in this truck versus the new 2015. We are currently in the process of filming and putting together 2015 Tundra Specific products. The 2015 does not have an option for door lights. You can find the new 2015 kit here and we will make sure we get you the new lights we are putting together. www.headlightrevolution.com/Tundra_Interior_LED_Lights_p/tundra-intled1416.htm And you can always email us at sales@headlightrevolution.com if you have any specific bulb questions.
We Think you may have accidentally shorted your positive and ground when installing a bulb.Try checking if the interior lights fuse is blown. Then make sure to try putting the bulb in the other way if it doesn't work the first time, because the are polarity specific.
I've got a 2013 CM SR5 TSS, the doors only have reflectors on the inside instead of courtesy lights. Any idea if the wiring is back there to be able to install the lights?
Joe Bob Yeah that was a sad feature Toyota took out in the newer models. The 2015 Tundra doesn't have them either. From what we can tell, we don't think there will be any wires back there.
Ah crap I regret buying this. My overhead dome light is now direct short. I saw the led lights and they're no better actually. I feel like an idiot now. None of my lights work now
You probably did what I did and accidentally shorted something, blowing the fuse... under the hood "DOME" 7.5A "low profile" (mini). Good idea to pull that one while working on it, also, keep lots of spares on hand.
Thanks for your comment! The Sylvania is a decent bulb, and LED bulbs are improving all the time. New bulbs have come out since this video that are as bright or brighter than the standard Sylvania LED bulbs.

Me too but with the map lights 😂

My Tundra is a Base 2011 , can it be retrofit the door reflectors to lights , are they wire or there is no harness ?
Great videos
My footwell bulb broke. Any tips on how to get the remaining part of bulb out?
Needle nose pliers are your best bet for safely removing the remaining part of the bulb. Alternatively, you can try using a pick with a hook to carefully extract it. Just be cautious when wedging the tool into the housing to avoid causing any further damage.

Do the LEDs actually draw less from the battery?
LEDs are much more efficient and require much less power than a typical Halogen bulb does. :)
Any idea what type/size of bulb that small under the dash bulb is? I have to believe someone stocks it.
My map lights will not come out... I've tried everything I can think of..
Put a piece of tape around it and pull down!
Good afternoon, Is there a video on how to replace the glove box bulb with an LED on a 2007 Toyota Tundra?
We will be redoing some of this content in the future and we’ll be sure to cover that!
We think it is made by a company called Spyder. So far it seems like a very good product.
Can you tell me numbers for all those lights, what kind of numbers on those lights

Can you tell which led tail light and 3rd brake light did you use on your tundra and do you recomend them?

Need help when I installed the first one it work but when I put the second one all the interior lights don't turn

Hi, where can I buy the interior light set for Tundra 2008? Thank you Viedo !!
Tanks men
You're welcome!
What happens if you don't put back the metal reflectors ?
You won't have the light that is being shot up by the diodes reflecting down, giving you less usable light
Headlight Revolution
But it won't damage anything right ?
Probably not?
🤷
Hi i have a 2014 toyota tundra will the kit still fit?
