We Do Lighting Better Because We Test!
If you also have the Alpharex taillights, the white wire is “live” and the black wire is ground. I used the T Tip clamps that came with it and covered it in electrical tape. Way easier than soldering. TBD how it holds up in MN winter.
I don’t even have a Tundra (but I’m hoping to purchase next year), so watching these videos makes me look forward to these upgrades. I appreciate how these videos are kept simple and don’t spend a lot of time yammering on about how you remember spending your childhood listening to your grandpa complain that he wished he had better lighting on his truck.

Why didn't you use a plug and play socket instead of exposing the wiring to corrosion? Or used a 4 pin trailer connector?
Plug and play wouldn't be an option for everyone, the OEM manufactuerer would need to leave an extra plug for the Back Up Boost Bar and that probably won't happen 😅 The XTR Back Up Bar uses the included T-Tap/Power Tap Kit, which can be secured with electrical tape if you want extra insurance.
For some reason, i get hiperflash on my turn signal after the installation of the license plate light bar

I have a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro. I keep seeing comments about LED cargo lights effecting the fob function etc. Have you had any complaints about that?
We have not seen anything like that!

Would these installs be the same for 2020 Tundra? I don't think there is a difference between the 19 and 20 Tundra.
It is the exact same install for the 2020 Toyota Tundra.
Have there been any interference with the LED cargo lights and the key fob? I was looking at another LED package with LED cargo lights and they recently put up a video that some customers had experienced issues.
We have not had any issues like that with our cargo lights, you should be good to go! Let us know if you have any other questions!

Would the little light bar fit over a license plate frame?
In our experience no, Usually you will want to remove the plate bracket. You could maybe use longer screws and make it work depending on the plate bracket design.

What gauge size is the reverse light wires? I'm planning to use t tops.
I'm not sure on the exact size off hand, but this kit does come with T-Taps for you to use!

Yes, it sure will!
I'm not going to lie, this looks like a direct copy of what VLEDS came out with 2 years ago.
This thing is so much brighter than the VLEDs unit. Not only that, They are built a lot better. We were going to carry the VLEDs lights a year ago but they just didn't seem like they'd hold up in our climate at the time.
Are these road legal in California?
Anything good or beneficial is illegal in Cali.
Does this fit a 21 tundra?
