This is a remake of all the levels in Mega Man for the NES, remade in Super Mario Maker 2. These levels were not made by me, they were made by another user. I just beat Mega Man 1 for the first time ever this week so it’s still super fresh in my mind. It’s amazing how they stuck so close to the original level designs but still adapted what needed a tweak to work with Mario’s mechanics. And as an added bonus, the levels actually still look fun to play! I guess that just goes to show that good level design is good pretty much no matter what
I just beat it recently as well along with 2 and 3, all of those games are fresh in my mind as well. It’s cool that they remixed the levels to take advantage of Mario’s abilities, but I feel like Fire Mario would have been more appropriate to simulate Mega Man’s run-and-gun gameplay more. That aside, amazing remake

Mathew Yager so far a fan of capcom made a mega maker but only on Xbox and pc

Ludwig as Dr. Wily just works too perfectly. The sheer amount of creativity that goes into these recreations is making me self-conscious about my own super world. ._.
I know it can’t be helped but it bothers me that you fight Ice Man with Fire when the weakness chain is the other way around.

Well if you don't know, there is actually a game called megaman maker, it's not official but it's pretty much mario maker but for megaman but better

Fun Fact:
Iceman's shots deal 10 damage each
So it finishes MegaMan in 3 shots.
It was creative since Mario can take 3 strikes
One would wear off his Fire Powers
The other would shrink him
And the last one would finish him off.

I watched this basically to see how you would do the Yellow Devil in Mario Maker. That was an interesting interpretation.
This just reminds me of how different mega man level designs were from Mario games. Much more up and down movement through levels than left to right.
This would be great with a side by side comparison with the original Megaman, but fun video

THEY WERE ORIGINALLY FROM NEW YORK, BUT A STRANGE PIPE SUCKED THEM INTO THAT WORLD, WHERE THEY MET TOAD, A MUSHROOM RETAINER, WHO TOLD THEM THE PRINCESS HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED, SO THE MARIO BROS USE LOTS OF POWER UPS TO HELP THEM IN THEIR MISSION TO RESCUE HER.

Goobtroid II: Return of Mario

Metroid 2 inspired collect-a-thon. Explore alien planet, exterminate at least 35 goombas out of 50 and get back home with new powerups at tow.
Mega Jumpman

Six themed minilevels structured like a Mega Man game. Get powerups from bosses and use them against others.

A conclusion for the previous level. Dr. Wily's Castle portion is basically a boss rush.

You need to have a Nintendo Online membership. If you have that you go to Course World and type in the level codes in the description.

Real talk about how long did it take you to make this? I really want to get this game and play around in it, but it feels like so much trial and error to get it right, like little things like spacing the jumps correctly and setting up moving targets looks like it would take a TON of trial and error. Is that the case or is it a little more intuitive? I never played the first one, in fact haven't played a new Mario game in years but I really like this idea, I just worry it's a ton of commitment
Rich Roberts It took me about a month to make all the levels. Yes, it is a lot of trail and error, but very satisfying once you find a solution that works. And now with the worldmaker you can make a complete game from all the levels.
