For 20:50 I recommend putting a key in Morton so that the player is forced to fight him. (the key will open a door to let the player go into the pipe).
This is really good! It shows just how amazing the level design in Cuphead was that the same layouts and obstacles still work so well in Mario. I wish you could have done more of the bosses!

This is incredibly well done! Despite it's easier (Dr Kahl's Robot gave me a super hard time in Cuphead, lol) it still looks frantic, frenzied, and fun, and the remakes were very faithful!
This is awesome but I feel like there should be a fire flower clear condition so you never lose shooting ability and so it’s extra hard. Really a personal decision though, it’s great how it is
While this is good, for a few levels I’d have gone with 3D World for the new Cannon Box. Using the Cannon Box, you could spam easier. And, not only that, but you could also have had the Super Hammer just in case of losing your Cannon Box. Also place a power-up above the checkpoint for people who lose the power up. Not only that, but also maybe have them start with specific power-ups. Like, for examples, a Boomerang Flower for the Roundabout, Either the Super Hammer, Cat Suit, or Racoon Leaf for a Shotgun, Cannon Box again for Charge, and I loved the idea of the Fire Flower for the basic shot. Also, while doing the car segments, give them a power-up that is only one bullet instead of Fire Flowers like, for example, SMB2 Mushroom, Big Mushroom, Frog Suit, Racoon Leaf, Acorn Suit, one of the many new masks (other than Goomba, duh), Cat Suit, or Super Hammer.
One: This is awesome! Two: I've seen Cuphead played but I have never had the inclination to play due the difficulty. However this may change my mind one day. Three: I love that you included the music. -attempts to find soundtrack now-
This looks difficult. This comes from someone who beat Cuphead, which must have been a f*ckin miracle. God that stupid robot angers me and haunts my dreams
This reinforce the fact that the cuphead crew made a marvelous work in level design and that if your were able to translate those ideas into another game, you're an incredible designer too!!! BRAVO!!! 💕🐣💕
This is fantastic! A tip of advice: Give less Fire flower, maybe none at all, with only 1 check point. This will make the 5 hp limit of cuphead more realistic. (3+2 hp) You give way too many Fire Flower to cheese the stages. (20+ hp)

If you want a good recreation of the tutorial level, use the SMB3 ground theme and fill the stage with the largest white semi-solid platforms you can.
