  • UTH= under tank heater
This is how I put my heater on my Dubia tote! On the side not under it! It don't get really hot so they are safe for totes. Enjoy❤

There you go Sam looks a lot better, just add water to the water gel/crystals everyday or every other day, trim the egg crate to where it’s about 2 or 3 inches below the lip of the bin cause you don’t want them escaping.
They can’t climb smooth surfaces but being that close to the top they can get out.

We’re you able to get your bin up to 85 using that heat pad? I just started a colony and I’m using the same heat pad, pretty much the same setup, but it’s not getting to the temp I want.

Yes my temp was fine in mine.. As long as it's not below 75 they will be fine. They will still breed just slower the closer you get too the right temp they will breed faster.

Get yourself some "Great stuff" foam in a can.. spray the foam on the outside of the bin and spread it with a spackling knife evenly all throughout. Instant insulation.
