Ah the days when the only things me and my friends cared about were girls, getting a summer job, a car, comic books, homework, video games, our favourite shows.
This was my “theme song” every morning back in high school. Literally every morning when my friend picked me up for school he had this song playing...it was as if we were on a tv show and this song was the opening credits. High school...time of your life that doesn’t last a lifetime
I was a Freshman in HS in 1986 (1986 Heavy Metal parking Lot) in 1990 at age 18 me & buddy drove from Illinois to Landover MD to the Capitol Center Arena (actual 1986 HMPL location) to see my first Grateful Dead show (March spring tour of 1990) I had no idea about Heavy Metal Parking until years later....Why I am telling you, I have no idea.
I've been looking for this song and music video for close to 20 years. I only remembered the music video, no lyrics. Tried describing the video to everyone, tried searching for it in every way possible. I finally just found it. I found it. OMG. I found it.
How can you not smile, bob your head, and sing along when hearing this? Music like this is why 90s and early 00s kids had smiles on their faces growing up :)

He put up a finger like hold on, pointed at their poster and wrote something like I think you're cute too. I kind of forget that ever happened but it never really left me.

Idk why but this era of music always gives me crazy nostalgia over nothing. Like I'm not nostalgic over anything, it's just the feeling of nostalgia. But I've just always loved this type of music for as long as I can remember, and now I've finally started playing in my own band as the main guitarist so I'm really happy about that.
As someone born in 93 and vividly remember songs like this being in all aspects of 90’s/Early 2000s culture. From Video Game soundtracks to the movies during that time. Truly thankful I got to at least be a kid back then, would have loved to be a Teen/Young Adult back then but oh well.

How did this band not become famous and make it big? This was my favorite band. I loved listening to them. Everyone else was listening crappy hip pop and rap music. I was blasting this stuff over and over. Kind of sucks I didn't get to see them live.
