    I have a 2021 ZX-6R and I absolutely love it. There is no quick shift down, only up. The only issue I've faced is frequent false neutrals that cause the gearbox to grind, which can be a severe issue, and the quickshifter getting stuck occasionally. I ordered a FactoryPro shift star kit to potentially fix this issue. I have a Moore Mafia flash that resolved the heavy lurch in engine braking that made the throttle substantially not smooth during turns. Other than that, it's excellent and you really don't need any more power for the street. 165 mph top speed is plenty!
    UPDATE: I had to file a claim against FactoryPro because they were not responding to calls or emails and they hadn't shipped the product in months.

    • @TylerTroutman
      @TylerTroutman ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i have the same issue with my 2022 ninja 400 with the false neutrals and the gearbox has grinded on me at least once. do you also have an issue with 6th gear slipping back down to 5th sometimes?

      Happened to me also a few times on my 2023 so most of the time from 1rst to 2nd use the clutch then all the way up quick shift.

    • @ridepastu1418
      @ridepastu1418 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Rear-sets with GP shift eliminates almost all false neutrals. Shifting is more deliberate, doesn’t allow you to lazy shift. Makes more sense leaned over as opposed to curling your foot/toe under the shifter while leaned over. Also, the bikes electronics won’t allow you to accidentally shift normal pattern, so no worries of a catastrophic error

    • @avi8r944
      @avi8r944 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, my 2021's quickshifter is not the best. A lot of times it doesn't work the 1st time i got to shift up so I've missed a lot of shift cues. Its sometimes not smooth in any gear above 3rd. Might go aftermarket. Everything else is lovely.

  • @mikewolf394

    I have the 23 zx and 22 650. Got the 650 in February of 22 and now it has nearly 9k miles. Zx was in October of 22 and it has almost 7k. I commute with the Zx more because the bent over position feels more comfortable to me for some reason, plus the suspension. 650 is more whippy and what I picture a motorcycle to be. 636 is more planted and stable. My girl now commutes with the 650 and now she wants to customize and ride everyday. They’re extremely different though so test ride. I do start to get tired on the 636 after 3 hours. Just my opinion.

    It's a sports bike so naturally it's supposed to be beautiful but that paint job is weird. To me it's like too many colours for one object but I do love what they did with the tank cover, so yes even with that confusing paint job it is beautiful and from the review I think it is the most interesting of the 3 so far. Love your streets too those roads are really wide and yet smooth, I wonder how pedestrians make it across and I love that you have parking lots where people can go practice at any time. San Diego (is it? ) Is a really good place to ride.

    Never use your platform to attack any kind of bike. Everyone has different tastes. We all see that one bike on the road and wish we owned it. There is no wrong choice. Stay honest and objective. But never condescending. Yes, hooligans make us look bad, but that's no excuse to scream to 4.1 mil subs saying We don't need 600s anymore. With 557K bikes of all makes and models sold in just the US in the last 1.3 years. That amount of subs can actually damage a brand or type of machine.

Sorry, but there's just no excuse for making a video with bad information when that information is so easily attainable.
