A pointer that helps with acrylic yarns; you can place a very transparent layer of wool (of the same color) over the top after you’ve felted in the yarn. It really helps to hold it in place.

Oh Bless you! I only recently learned yarn can be used in felting at all (I'm a total newbie and your content has helped a lot!) I had thought it would need to be a much higher wool count to work and felt into a piece. All of these methods are cute, and thanks for adding the bit at the end seeing them all together too, as that really gives me ideas of the ways I can incorporate yarn into projects to improve their overall look.

Brilliant use of yarn to make the fleeces. It seems to make the sheep look playful and cute in a certain way. Lots of interesting textures too. Loved this video ❤. 9:02

I do much thinner wool on the bamboo stick, you get more defined curls and no waste in middle if use thinner bits

Hi, I love your channel! I've been needle felting for less than a year, and I love it so much. Your videos have been so helpful! I have made three alpacas by looping the thin yarn as you showed, and it is time consuming! But so relaxing. Thanks so much for the great content. ❤️

Very useful video. I have some of that fluffy acrylic yarn which I thought would be perfect for sheep, but I couldn't get it to felt on at all. I may try what Melony has suggested and use a bit of carded wool to make it stick.

Hi, yes, it's boucle yarn, a very unusual name, it's more common in actual wool suppliers where that be online or in person xx
