Wadupneem, the Q player, is an actual Third Strike competitive player. Max was spot on with his assessment.

I mean, just look at that Q. His frame inputs and distance assesments were always on top, perhaps Max was playing a bit careless yes, but that Q is just not whiffing.

That Q player has so much experience that he seems to have every possible interaction between Ken and Q ingrained into his mind. You can tell that every decision he's making comes from pure instinct that's been honed by decades of experience. Nothing my man was doing took any conscious thought. He instinctively knew how everything would play out ahead of time and punished accordingly - mad respect!

Twelve and Necro are weird and creepy, but they don't have the "cool" factor of Q and Darkstalkers.
Then again, I wouldn't call Sasquatch particularly badass.

Yeah 3rd strike has some of the coolest characters. Wish they can all hang. But yeah they really came up with some great designs in this game, from Oro and Urien to Hugo, Q, Twelve, Necro, etc.
Still praying we get Q and more 3rd strike characters in 6! Q creeping in the background of the open world portion would be hype AF!
In the sf 6 trailer there's a man that has a similar look like Q so maybe he's in the open world
3rd strike characters are going to be dlc hopefully my boy remy gets in sf6 as dlc.

He deliberately save the super for punish Ken's blocked cr. RH because all 5 hits of the super hits him in crouched state, which does significantly more damage.
Now that's some damn good Q knowledge.

I hope so too man. It looks to be in a good spot considering what we’ve seen so far but we’ll never truly know how good it is until it actually comes out. I hope it’s fun and most people enjoy it because if not I mean it’s not like we are gonna get another anytime soon

Got into watching max by binging this series, never let it die this game is so much fun to watch
For those wondering, Max is playing this version of 3s on PC using Fightcade 2, a program that lets you play a lot of retro arcade games with others (stuff like Darkstalkers Vampire Savior, Sf alpha, and even Windjammers). It’s really easy to set up and def worth looking into if you want to try out these older games
Came here looking for this thanks, only been watching Max play 3rd strike for like 9 years figured I might as well play the damn game for once
I have been trying to play 3rd strike on Fightcade 2 and it doesn't work. I downloaded all the roms, put the right files into their places. Doesn't launch. It starts but then it closes very fast. Help?

I don't know if it is cut at the Non-Japan versions, but Q has a win pose where he stomps at a KO'd opponent's face like he's putting out a cig.

As someone who unfortunately let their fighting game skills languish and deteriorate over the past 10+ years, I'm so glad that channels like Max's exist to allow me to still enjoy and have a connection with the FGC
Neiman is one of the best Ken's in America competitively today, he knows this match-up like the back of his hand -- he's been playing Third Strike for a very, very long time. Max is a great sport.

Chad Q: Barely gets hit confirmed by Ken, does defense boosts whenever he has a chance anyways.
Max + Third strike = Awesomeness
Nothing like watching Ken SA3 do a whole 8% damage on a clean hit XD
Yea its fairly weak but the 3 supers you get makes up for it.

This is the first time I see Q gameplay, why is he so freaky? He moves like the jellyfish aliens from Metal Slug.
His whole character is based off of being weird and mysterious.

He started playing in the mid-2000's at Super Arcade in Walnut Creek Mall, so... he's been playing for a VERY long time.
Omg he gets 3 taunts and all the sudden Ken super does tickle damage lmao
One of the few taunts in SF 3rd strike that has an effect in the game. Dudley's rose toss that's a mini projectile and Urien's ground punch which boosts his damage are others.

Good lord man Max matched up against some monsters. He literally couldn’t do anything against that Q, some rounds he struggled to even get 1 hit on him and that urien was really good too. I don’t remember urien having that much throw range

It's not often that we see Max get chumped which is literally a true testament to his opponent.
As a French guy the title is really funny to me because in french Q is pronounced the same as "ass" so it's like "The ass is unstoppable"
