@@MrDanno Its because when Diaphone played Q, it strips away everything that he might have worried about, it striped away all the stuff he was struggling with all week, all the dropped combos, the huge parry mental stack. All that was left was his fundamentals, which are astronomically higher then JM
@@gustavosanabio473Yeah, its wild how often people forget that mental stack can really fuck with people's play, so they almost completely forget that with decent fundamentals, you can get pretty far just off that.
if you think croft, a player that's in this game for years, can lose 10 - 0 with a one week player you gotta be delutional, this was so fake i even gave it thumbs down. YOU CAN EVEN SEE THE GUY GOING D HK FROM AFAR LIKE A MORON...REALLY?
great video and love the challenges/concept. would love to see a part 2 vs. Jwong. obvi that’s his game but could do bonus round with bans again or something different to level the playing field a bit. also SMUG is a bit newer to this game as well, would be another fun collaboration
this was a really good watch! it was more interesting than a series about who can hit master the fastest, because you get to see the thought process and progression!
What I enjoyed most about this video is that he didn't just show the victories, He also showed the losses. For me it really helped to demo the learning Process, and it was inspiring. Keep it up.
U make some of the best fighting game videos....VERY informative in your videos...my fav ones are any time u review footage and implement clips of what ur taling about for visual clarity...whether its the scrub quote vids or reviewing your own footage...its dope as hell
The funniest thing is to watch you literally learn why people love this game so much during your journey. It was beautiful! Much love man! Keep up the great content!
Such a good video. Amazing content, editing, and the ending was just icing on the cake. Amazing collab with the legendary JM Crofts. Great character variety. PERFECT!!!
You know, I think it's really cool you talked to shodokan and actually learned the character and all his intricacies. Thanks, not a lot of content creators would go out of their way to actually find the best people to teach a character
You made very interesting character choices, but I remember seeing the stream where you decided on it so it makes more sense. Glad to see you bringing 3rd Strike to a more modern audience!
Hey, I'm one of those people who have been playing 3s for 25 years. I'm pretty sure you could catch up pretty quickly if you wanted to, you're obviously a very quick learner. This was a fun video to watch.
Q being the underdog of the video was the biggest plot twist ever. You wrote him off so quick at the start only to end up winning 10-0 even though you spent the least amount of time with him 😂.
With yun do the target combo into activate with out the shoulder on hit. But on block do the shoulder but mix up strength and timing to stop easy parry’s. You want to do this as on hit the shoulder makes you lose a lot of damage Be ready to confirm on block if they mess up and don’t block or get hit trying to parry. Learn this concept and will improve your yun lots
Looool the 10-0 with Q was the biggest plot twist of all time. Let me know if anyone ever challenges you to Vampire Savior - I will happily lead you down the path that rocks.
Oh man this brings me back on xbox 360 days on sf third strike with my online friend supershadow good times that gives flashback on remy mu he use on me got me my parry practice win or loss but i counter with him in my style if my main didn't work out .oh man was not happy lol
What a great video! I don't play SF3, so, I found this informative and educational! When I did dabble with it a long time ago, I played Yun, and I felt like I learned some stuff about the characters from watching this. I do agree with you that everyone needs to have a "sweaty" character in their arsenal 😅 That is a good way to put it! Just curious, if I may ask, how *does* Yun anti-air in this game? When I had dabbled with this game, nothing seemed to be an apparent anti-air option. Or, is having a strong anti-air game not as important in this game as it is in other fighting games?
Dude lost and was like "i have a proposal. You cant use the only character you put time in while i know other characters. And i get to set your profile" lmao
This character selection section is so well edited...
1 Week training, 1 year editing the video 😂
and yes, it was worth it
but the edit is CLEAN. . . :)
timeless game, the vid can't be late :v
The Q pick into 10-0 was the biggest twist of 2024. Absolute cinema.
i think its beyond funny that the Q won 10-0 despite having zero combos from the command grab oh my days
It's not when JMcrofts isn't really nice in the game. Diaphone is a better player overall...I'm not surprised 😅😂
@@SuperArt7 and yet JM then went 3-0 afterwards lol

DAWG this might be the best 3S video i've seen editing godlike, Anime arc was fire, Truly peak diaphone/Caste!
Not only is the video extremely fun to watch, but the editing is amazing. The Third Strike effects were recreated beautifully, such a joy to watch.
JM is gonna be gassing your Q at every bar conversation after the tournament
My favorite part was when you said you gotta get washed to get clean.
Yea I’m stealing that
I mean, shit ... It's true
I'm so, so clean too lol
Actually legendary.
An FGC quote classic.

They always be doing my boy Q dirty til they see hes legit asf
This video is balling good, its got the storyline, its got the trash talk, i hope this video blows up with how much work ya put in.

the Q 10-0 was crazy!!!
great video. Seeing you go through the hoops of learning a game was awesome. I've never heard JM sound so serious in my life
This video is so good! It's cool to see that the learning process applies to EVERYONE!! Having your commentary was really cool throughout this

THE Q SWEEP
Was literally gonna comment this. The QWEEP
Holy crap I've been waiting for this vid since I saw JM with the baldjam PFP

Only 2 minutes in, the editing is SO much damn fun already and the premise is clear and compelling
Best JM diaphone moment is the "I lost" Aki tweet, that was peak
Nice video. Very friendly vibe, but still playing to win. Love to see it!
I'm ready for the Diaphone Retro game arc
Does this start a cascade of challenging commentators / content creators to their choice of game to establish dominance? I hope so
This is one of your best videos yet, such a fun watch.

Godlikke editing and training arc. this was SICK. Goddamn WILD
Never apologize for picking Q. Always apologize for not picking Q.
I love that Diaphone enjoys the "now, fight a new rival" as much as I do
This was a fantastic video. One of your best!
And your hair was on point!
this is awesome love seeing like an understanding of this game ive only seen ppl fawn over
You made very interesting character choices, but I remember seeing the stream where you decided on it so it makes more sense. Glad to see you bringing 3rd Strike to a more modern audience!
The Q games were crazy. The runback games were very entertaining as well
Awesome video i appreciate all the beautiful street fighter content mr. Diaphone
Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JMCROFTS WHAT WAS THAT?! I'm so hype for Diaphone but also so sad for JMCrofts. So disappointed in you my dude ;_;
I forgot to like the video, had to come back and like it. 2 of my favorite guys and also just a extremely well made video

DiaGoat and GoatCrofts. Legendary video.
This was a top tier video with the commentary and editing
Finally understanding where the bald Sajam pic came from with JM. Gotta say I was confused AF when I saw that on Twitter
Amazing video, loved everything about it.
ok this video is awesome, definitely one of the best on your youtube

Yet another fire upload 🔥 Thanks again Brian F 🙏
Dude, congrats on 25th thats crazy 😮❤
as a boomer, i love watching sf4-s6 players pick up 3s, cvs2, etc etc
You did pretty well, only on 1 week! Congratulation! 🎉
all the studying for Yun/ Chun to 10-0 with Q is actually INSANE
The editing was immaculate and seeing Q do so much work during the set was amazing
The chat lighting up, trying to get Crofts to say "FOLKS" as soon as he spoke was hilarious.
As always banger video from you. I miss strive videos tho :(
FIGHT FOR THE FUTURE!!
The editing in this is top tier
Fun to watch. Next: 3S @ Evo.
I like how chill and good-spirited Jmcrofts is
Really loved the 3S style 'DAY X' transitions.

Great video!

Dia don't be a cutie challenge - impossible
I kinda wanted to see you guys go main vs main for a bit longer, I felt like that was where the real fight was
Bro is counter picking twelve. THE LACK OF SHAME!
i had no idea who you were before today, but i already like you more than jmcrofts.

The JoJo themes kicked in, all of them.
Either yun, makoto or dudley would be awesome to see return in sf6
My beloved alex needs to come back too, imagine a ddt in sf6, would look so clean
I would absolutely love to see a video along these lines, but with +R (maybe with LK?)
automattock taught me everything i know about Remy, i sure wouldn't feel bad losing a set to him haha
"I'm dropping Makoto"
Makoto Players: "It's Ass Whuppin' Time, Then"
"You gotta get washed to get clean" - words to live by

Jm gave the controller to his big brother for that urien 3-0
nice editing

Why does Diaphone look like Plup’s older brother
Bro spent a week practicing geneijin combos just to matchup check him for 10 games with a low tier LMFAO
