My personal canon as to why Terry is in SF6 is because of Smash Bros. He reunited with Ryu and Ken after receiving the Smash Bros invite, but at some point he gets bored and decides to visit the Street Fighter world to see how much has changed since the last time he fought Ryu, Ken and the other Street Fighters. But before he made his way to the Street Fighter world, Terry encountered Mai Shiranui and decided to invite her to join him in the Street Fighter world. Mai would accept, but she would tell Terry that she would arrive much later. This is due to her attending the Dead or Alive Tournament, and the tournament won't come to an end until some time in the winter season.
Terry is so goddamn goated in SF6. Definitely my favorite SNK character and is definitely going to be my main in SF6!!! I want the street fighter 6 team to do a Capcom VS SNK game so bad after seeing this. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥
I don't own SF6, but I have considered picking it up. Anyway, cool to see Terry in the game! And it's always refreshing seeing you get hype about this stuff. 😁
I like how Terry has some of his over the top anime looking moves but looks like he's more controlled like he's hold his power back. Compared to smash where he can kinda go all out the burst of energy look very big and exaggerated I like how in sf6 he has a kinda "I'm not gonna go to light on ya but I don't wanna kill ya either let's have fun" kinda vibe about him. More controlled, which is so much character through game design that needs to be talked about.
Someone noticed that his intro and taunts seems to change depending if it's default or secondary costume. That's quite the attention to details if that's true.
Whoever tried to tell you that Terry and Ken don't have that much in common need to be pointed to the video that Death Battle between them because they had so much in common.
Terry's raising tackle super reminds me of the hakyokuseiken move he learned in the Fatal Fury OAV series but upside down. The way he starts off by extending both of his arms.
All the references from the movie in our other games, especially kingfighters, 2001. It's real bio, fatal fury. They added a lot of references in his moves
Terry was always like an alloy of Ryu and Ken. On one side, the wandering martial artist, always on the road and on the look for an opponent that can give him a challenge, on the other side a really cheerful and sociable sonnyboy you can have a genuine good time with.
Terry did the draw power from the Earth move from the Anime then he does the Senpuken as a Rising Tackle into a Buster Wolf? Never connected Rising tackle as being his version of Tong Fu Ru's Senpuken before.
BTW, the start of Terry’s Level 3 Super is a reference to the classic Fatal Fury movie where he learned a special technique to draw power from the earth.
I have never played fatal fury or know anything about it but man his kit and animations look so clean and dynamic even next to other SF6 characters. I haven't found another love like SF4 Ryu to keep me playing SF consistently but this might change things.

Then Kazuya has a solid chance according to your head theory…
@@benross9174 forget kazuya, what this means is that Kirby has a chance
@@benross9174 It's entirely possible as Akuma did enter the Tekken world to try to kill both Heihachi and Kazuya.
Sora confirmed for sf6??
The idea of there being casual multiverse hopping between fighting games is hilarious
Terry's Critical Art being a Rising Tackle that ends in an upside-down punch with all the power of the spin is the coolest thing ever.
Terry is so goddamn goated in SF6. Definitely my favorite SNK character and is definitely going to be my main in SF6!!! I want the street fighter 6 team to do a Capcom VS SNK game so bad after seeing this. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥
The Fatal Fury 1 Power Wave is back in that extended combo too!
Terry with hair physics... Yes we are all waiting for Mai and the physics coming from that lol 😂
5:52 The music syncs perfectly 👌
I am ABSURDLY psyched about the anime reference in Terry's lvl III.
I thought that's the knock-off Blue Mary in the background, but it's actually the real one!
The beat-for-beat recreation of the taxi-intro from FF1 is a cool touch.
Genius to have Terry use his own explosive powers as his personal fireworks
Has no one else noticed the Mad Gear band in the background? At first I thought it was Billy, but it's actually Axl, Roxy, and Two P.
I spotted that too! Amazing!
I was wondering when this would show up. Max didn’t disappoint.
You know it's Fatal Fury Terry when he does the triple punch for Triple Geyser instead of just one
Fastest click I have ever done to a thumbnail
This is the reaction I wanted to see
I don’t know KoF games at all but just seeing Terry be lighthearted and kind makes me an instant fan!
Can we talk about how Sick his outro is. He somehow delays Triple geyser so that he can do the hat throw with a firework display. So cool
"Most [fighting] games you put them in slow motion they fall apart." I can't help but think of every 3D Mortal Kombat when he says that.
Someone noticed that his intro and taunts seems to change depending if it's default or secondary costume. That's quite the attention to details if that's true.
I love that they gave Terry's ass the care and attention it deserved!!
You mean that flat thing?! He deserved more cake!
Ken, Ryu and Terry all coming back to Metro City after a lengthy time fighting the likes of Mario, Ganon, Mega Man and Snake.
RISING TACKLE into Close Combat BUSTERWOLF/POWERGEYSER mid air!? WTF
Just how many Pao Pao Cafes are there? Also, Capcom when's CVS3?
Whoever tried to tell you that Terry and Ken don't have that much in common need to be pointed to the video that Death Battle between them because they had so much in common.
Best. Guest. Character. Ever.
I love Capcom for putting a lot of respect and love on how they provide Terry's move visually stunning ❤.
18 seconds, if this ain’t hot n’ ready, idk what is
Terry's raising tackle super reminds me of the hakyokuseiken move he learned in the Fatal Fury OAV series but upside down.
Terry feels right at home at the Street Fighter world.
There was also a reference to Fatal Fury opening right after SF2 opening reference.
The orange car sliding in
7 specials? I can only imagine how they'll get him to work on modern controls.
the same way they do every other modern control character... just choose the bread and butters, leaving the entire kit for the classic controls.
@@Shiirow yeah, but they'll really be stretching the limit.
Terry did the draw power from the Earth move from the Anime then he does the Senpuken as a Rising Tackle into a Buster Wolf? Never connected Rising tackle as being his version of Tong Fu Ru's Senpuken before.
THE TERRANCE WILL POWER DUNK ALL DOUBTS.
I may have been off SF6 for the longest time now, but seeing Terry in action like this? I'm very tempted to jump back in. He looks so cool!
Max geeks out over any blonde dude in red 😂
Terry vs any of the SF6 cast is just Capcom VS SNK 3...and I'm loving it!
Makes me want CvS3! Terry looks damn good in SF6. Can’t wait to see how Mai will look like.
BTW, the start of Terry’s Level 3 Super is a reference to the classic Fatal Fury movie where he learned a special technique to draw power from the earth.
I just Terried all over my screen
Doing a Buster Wolf DURING Rising Tackle wasn't something I thought I needed until now
WE WANT A CAPCOM VS SNK 3 WITH THE GRAPHIC STYLE OF DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ 🙏❤️🔥💯 !!!!
But seriously it would be magnificent since we have been waiting for such a game for so long and it will surely be another SUCCESS for Capcom 🤩
Harry with "Tear Physics".

The wording is silly and I'm here for it.
I love Terry's graffiti splashes.
that's it, I'm getting back into SF6. My boy looks dope
2:20 Like how they remixed Terry's theme from his Fatal Fury 2 stage
Your the first person ik who caught that
NEVER EVER thought I'd see Terry vs Ken...dream come true...
3:30 and she's drinking a blue mary cocktail
It's so weird how buster wolf is lvl1 and for some reason rising tackle is the lvl3 instead
Now that's a DLC character 👏👏👏
I have never played fatal fury or know anything about it but man his kit and animations look so clean and dynamic even next to other SF6 characters. I haven't found another love like SF4 Ryu to keep me playing SF consistently but this might change things.
